Is there any option in review settings to give negative ratings for your experience while having a lunch at Khiva?Real utterly disappointed in 2017 when the first and last time i visited that place with colleagues.Order took more than 1 hour and 30 mins to get served and food was also pathetic in taste so was their costly menu.Never recommend to anyone to visit and waste their hard earn money there.Just miserable food spot

I dont want to even give single star to it but i must rate it because of app. The reason is obvious when u will find cockroaches roaming on your table when you are taking dinner. When leftover food was packed and taken home we found two dead cockroaches in the box. Next day we were badly sick and why not its KHIVA restaurant. No offence to KHIVA restaurant but i am honest to my opinion. Beware

Just took dinner bought from Khiva. Chicken Karhai was uncooked found blood inside meat. Paid 1000 rupees for half karhai which even did not worth 100 rupees. Please save your money otherwise you will be ripped off.

I went there in 2014 when they were located on Margalla Road. It was much better then. Visited it last night thinking that it would be same as it was before. But I was highly disappointed. First of all the staff was not well versed with menu and menu itself was so confusing. We ordered a platter of worth 3k but it had hardly 10 meat pieces. It said chapal kebab which were like so small. And only 3 were served. 4 small fish pieces, 2 seekh kebab and 5-6 chicken boti. With lot of tastless pulao and discoloured fries. The quality was pathetic. It was much worse than even bare minimum level. I would recommend dont even think about it.

Quality of food 3rd class. Our guests were 50 persons but they charged 75 persons. Very very bad behaviour. Dont go to thus resturant. :-(

Easy to access with ample parking space. The upstairs sitting gives you very pleasant and cosy atmosphere specially in winters with live singing . There are number of food options in the menu card. The staff is helpful. Once you have good dinner don’t forget to get the proper sales tax invoice as they try to give me provisional invoice without sales tax number, once insists they issue the proper sales tax invoice.

Provides dinner buffet at around 900Rupees, limites to 5,6 dishes with variety of sweats and saladsIt was okay.. Gola kebab is the only special delicious item in buffet

A good place to visit if you are interested in a variety of food. Sitting place is good also roof top sitting available. Their buffet lunch, dinner and hi tea are famous.

This place literally deserves to be in top ten food outlets in Islamabad. it has a variety of food options available there which include afghani, persian, mughlai and many more.we had a really good experience with dinner there. we ordered chicken corn soup,chicken malai boti handi and chpali kebabs. it was served with salad and yogurt. after meal we ordered kehwa which was a real treat after full meal. in short we had the best dinner there.

We hosted a small nikkah event at Khiva Restaurant F7 Markaz at their rooftop. Upon booking the manager Adeel was very nice and committed on booking the whole rooftop for our event. He said we’d probably just keep a few tables for our customers who insist on sitting at rooftop for buffet. He also committed that when our guests are being served dinner, none of the Khiva customers would be allowed to eat from the buffet. He ensured that there will be enough lighting and fans as the venue is open air. He also said they will move extra tables and chairs away from the area to make sure there’s enough space to move around and enjoy the event. Everything that this management promised was compromised on the day of event. We saw utmost unprofessional behavior on the day of the event. They only gave us half the rooftop to host our event, they didn’t provide any lighting and refused to turn on any existing lighting on the rooftop. They also only provide ONE working fan for 75 people. They also served food to random strangers from our buffet table. More over, there was barely anyone from the staff looking after the event from Khiva’s side. But yes at the end of the event, we were slammed with the massive bill. I would recommend everyone to never trust this management for your events and save yourselves from absolutely disappointing experience. Never returning to Khiva ever again.

Khiva has a great menu card for those who love traditional food, may it be Pashtun, Balochi, Mughlai, Central Asian or the like. After seeing their menu card, one may like to order so many things.... there is such a great choice available.Service as well as staff behaviour is very helpful and nice. Standard of cooking may vary a little though on different days. I guess with such a huge menu, it is not possible to cook everything well. I will seriously suggest to the management to reduce dishes on the menu. Its difficult to maintain top quality with such a wide variety of dishes.Roof top offers nice sitting at night.

The first tym i visited khiva for dinner buffet was very pathetic ..but now they have improved and i like their veriety of foods...

Poor service and waste of money

The food was pretty authentic here. I am familiar with central Asian food and they do it well.Munto (the dumplings) were slightly spicy, usually they arent so spicy and you get a dip/sauce to make it spicy according to your liking. But maybe thats just me because I am used to bland food.We say upstairs and the seating etc. is great.On the downside - which isnt a deal breaker - the service was poor to average, but we didnt mind that so much. The singer was terrible. Pre recorded music would be much better. And the banister on the stairs is about to come off, it would cause an accident one day, very dangerous for someone old.Overall the food and environment was good, minus the singer and the untrained waiters. I would go there again and would recommend it too.

Super expensive, offers central Asian food, may be good option for red meat lovers...popular among Foreigners. We were two persons, and an ordinary dinner did cost us whooping Rs. 2700/- ($27)... Our Order includes Central Asian Chicken Dumplings, Mughlai Tawa Chicken and Spanish Margrita (Mint Lemonade) ... The drink was good but low in quality if compared with the one offered by Monal downtown.

One of the poor experiences I have ever had. After ordering got our order after an hour, service was pathetic. Order for main dishes was approx Rs 1400/- but charged heavily for salad, cold drinks, green tea, and service charges for poor service. Ended up paying Rs 3000/-.Washrooms were dirty, ambience was zero. One star was only for good food taste.

Placed in the heart of Islamabad with very interesting dinning and buffet options. Could improve the pricing and place some offers. Drink selection is also very nice. Location is ideal and the view offers a very splendid addition to go with the meal youre having. Ideal restaurant for families and groups.

Had the most awful experience.The place wasnt clean and the management is PATHETIC. We had to ask for plates and glasses almost 7 times. No waiter knew anything happening around. The food was cold. They didnt even have water in their bathroom. The service was frustrating. Overall, worst experience.

A good place for lunch. Sometimes they offer buffet as well. I remember last time there were no buffet and we were a bit disappointed, so they gave us 1+1 offer in return. Manager and staff is very courteous and humble.

Had dinner with my family it was very tasty really enjoyed everything the quality of food environment food price service. In nutshell the experience was excellent.

3rd class place, the level of neatness was extremely bad. The chicken handi I ordered was not properly cooked and I had to return it upon calling the restaurant manager, who first resisted but when I asked him to eat the same handi, he took it away... Again after sometime, they brought the same handi after cooking it more... the utensils are not clean. I will never ever visit it again even if it is the only restaurant left on earth.

Very nice and economical place for dining. Location is very convenient with a huge parking in front. The restaurant has a nine ambience and there is plenty of space for seating. Food is generally very tasty and quality of food is very good. Dinner buffet offered currently is very economical as compared to other restaurants and it has nice food options including starter main course and dessert. Overall dining there is a nice experience.

Lunch buffet is excellent. On top roof experience is wonderful.Food quality is very good, especially soups, chawming, rushian salad, chicken manchorian and nan are amazing.I am a blind person comes with my school and found that all administration and staff was very helping, kind and cooperative. Hands down, one of the worst experience that i ever had was eating at Khiva . From rude staff behavior to pathetic food quality to skyrocketed prices. The only silver lining i would say is atmosphere of the place. In short, do not go unless you really really need to.

The place is nice and the menu options are quite good. The best part about it is the dinner and lunch buffet. The price of the buffet is very cheap (700-800 PKR) and at the same time the quality is also great. The desi options such as the chicken karahi, chicken tikkay, seekh kabbab and the afghani pulao are very delicious.DOWNSIDEThe only downside is the Chinese food (chowmein, Manchurian and Chinese rice) which tasted below satisfactory.I only gave it a five start despite the Chinese food because the speciality of this restaurant is desi food.5/5
