Finally came across a juicy, well marinated steak cooked to a medium temperature. Neither raw nor hard. Each bite attested to the elevation that the simplicity of just salt and pepper bring to a piece of meat treated rightly in garlic butter.Also, I liked that they dont have a paper menu. You use a QR code reader that redirects to their menu on FB. Moving towards a paperless environment is a step that should be admired and promoted.Finally, their fries were example of British chips. Boiled then fried and possibly frozen in between I am guessing. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Loved the place. Excellent steak and 100% recommended. PKR 3,000/- for the beef steak and all the sides as shown in pics. Temperature was well done but still it was not dry. Really good cut of meat used. Worth the hype and very reasonable keeping in view the amount some are charging in the name of USDA and Angus Imported beef which is just a little bit better than what CFU offered. If anybody is wondering CFU stands for Catch For You and is really famous is Karachi with prior booking required. Location on google maps. Number given is for Karachi but they connect you with the Islamabad team. Do try. Awesome stuff. Wouldnt mind if they added some more sweet garlic as side. For Lahore crowd, this steak is much better than what the Hyped places in Lahore are offering with poor cuts of meat. Honest opinion.

Excellent and pure steaks. Ordered medium rare beef steak; beautifully seasoned (didnt even feel the need for a sauce) and cooked to the perfect temperature. The sides are also plentiful and offer good variety while eating. Ambiance is good but lighting is a little too dim for my taste, had trouble seeing the food properly. Its very expensive and high-end compared to other steak places in Islamabad, but then again, no other place Ive tried so far has such an excellent steak experience.

Steak at it best leave. If you want to eat best stake you should go to this place. In picture, you have different vegetables and sauces. Every thing on board will give you different taste with your beef stake.

Food was good. Service was good. I had 2 complains. One there was no ramp for wheel chair or prom. 2nd light was very poor. Couldnt tell how my steak was cooked.Presentation was good. Food was high quality.

Very nice, my pocket book is about Rs 3500 per head including tax//tips lighter, so thats why one less star! Had a medium Chateaubriand, large sized portion, cooked to perfection. The meat itself could have had more flavor, but for Pakistan it was fine. All the sides came with it. Its not fine dining, but well worth it and good culinary experience. Wishing them the best!

Excellent presentation with high quality food(steaks) . The service was the best, staff lovely and the food was great. We all Ex.Microsoft friends really enjoyed our time with at CFU. A good addition to Islamabad’s culinary experience. The steak variety is not that elaborate but still a treat for your tastebuds. The butter beef bowl as a starter was nice with thick aroma and after taste. Tried the chateaubriand and it was magnificent. The steak platter and presentation was eye candy and instragammable. Nothing much on the dessert menu though. Must try.

I go to Steak by CFU from Lahore. Not on a visit to Islamabad, but just to eat their steaks. Taste never changes. Always same quality and I LOVE IT. The only problem I have with is the staff. Very unprofessional and slow. Waited for the bill for 15 minutes. Waited another 15 more for the change. Ended up leaving without the change which was over 1k. I dont have a problem tipping 1k for a 9k bill. But I would like them to bring the change so that I can tip with my own free will. Other than the staff, absolutely love the food.

Tried twice now and can easily say one of the best steaks in Pakistan. Slightly on the high side but well worth it. Service is fast and hospitality is great.

Worse experience. This stake made me sick for next 24 hours. I had vomiting and diarrhea due to it. food taste was around 5/10 and it was also greasy and burned. I went there after watching someones vlog but it was extremely ugly experience. wouldnt recommend anyone. I wish I could give it a negative star.

Very good steaks, cooked to perfection. A bit on the pricy side, but for that you get a whole set with a selection of small starters and a drink included. It would still amount to four stars but additional points for the nice decor, good manners, and an overall pleasant experience tipped the scale.

My wife and me both are extremely busy and we have been planning todays dinner for some time now.So i took my wife and son to enjoy some family time.Ambiance, staff and presentation was excellent but the food was literally aweful. Paid 10,000 for wasting our dinner date and now we both are ordering KFC.

When I arrived I was allocated a table rather quickly without any prior bookings. Scanned the menu via QR code but is also available on Google. I placed an order for the Tenderloin steak, the steak was covered with a rather flavourouble dressing which made it more juicy to the taste. It also had fat steak style cut chips with roasted garlic and salads . I really enjoyed this steak and it was the most popular one on the menu, I would highly recommend this establishment. Freindly staff and unique environment within Islamabad.

When it comes to competition, ox and grill has no competitor regarding its taste and monetary value.Steak by CFU is pretty much expensive with a lot of hype.But i would recommend ox and grill for steak lovers.

DISAPPOINTED!! Tried their cured smashed cheese burger with turkey bacon and was so disappointed with it. beef patty was musty and dry and it tasted like home made beef balls and patty was dropping in pieces from every side of the burger. didnt try the steaks for which they are famous for but their burger is a BIG NO.Fries were just okay but sauce along with them was the only pleasant thing to have.NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Its been difficult to find a world class Western steak in Pakistan... until now. This was originally opened in Karachi where it did well .Chateaubriand seems to be the steak of choice. Get Medium or less as they tend to overcook a bit.Portion size reminds me of Texas so feel free to share one meal with another person.Best steakhouse in Islamabad hands down.

Would not recommend the steak didnt metup to the price and when they say they gave u six sides they only give you 2 olives,baby carrot,a baby corn, fews leaves of lettuce a single mushroom and 2 tea spoon of sauce i liked the potato wedges more than the steak itself

The steak was good as was presentation. However the veggies, garlic cloves, mashed potatos were not fresh -probably made in the morning. That was disappointing as its skewed to the pricier side.Lighting was nice but decor could be nicer. I feel like they could do a better job at maintaining some dress code for that price...paying 15k for everyone to be wearing chappals was weird.

I didnt have a good experience there. The food was pre cooked and quite cold. The price to quality and quantity was pathetic. Nether the quality nor the taste was worth 3000rs.

I had their Mexican chicken breast. It was chewy and overcooked. Since I am a Karachiite, I can now definitely say we are waaay ahead of you guys when it comes to taste. The ambiance was nice though.

Food was delicious but prices are toooooo much. Really and secondly they are charging GST 7.5% on Non GST invoice and they didnt mentioned GST OR NTN number on their bill too.

1. Chateaubriand steak- ordered it Medium but it turned out to be like medium well.2. Tenderloin steak3. Prawns- very small in size. Taste was very good. Chef described them as medium size. But they are very small.Overall decent steak spot for Pakistan. But not on an international/USA level.Negatives:1. They do not have any different meat cuts like a Rib Eye or a filet2. Instead of getting multiple sides, they should just give one of each side. Some of the sides were OK but the potato wedges were real good.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST PLACE FOR STEAK IN ISLAMABAD.I never knew why people were so particular about beef, but after today i do. Everything about this place is perfect. Heads up though, you need a reservation.It looked beautiful. I took really terrible pictures because I was so excited to eat it. The sides are also great; this place made me like mushrooms.

Uninformed staff, serves petty beef cuts at the price od 600-800 gms of prime rib or rib eye stakes from better steak ateliers. Tasteless and overpriced.

One of the best places for steak in Islamabad. A little on the pricey side but you’ll know what you’re paying for once the food is served and it all seems justified. The meat is extremely good, cooked perfectly and the servings are large along with generous portions of sides. The service is really good and the food is served pretty quickly. Great ambience. Fun fact about this place: Theyve put on portraits of famous criminals, gangsters and drug lords on their walls which is pretty dope. Only one complaint, the steaks served are too small.

One of the best steaks in Islamabad just make sure you order medium cooked instead of medium well to have a perfect steak my recommendation is tenderloin steak.P.S: serving is ideal and taste is amazing

A new restaurant in Islamabad. Has limited menu. Ambience is ok. The food is super delicious. Food presentation is also good. We were 4 adults and 2 kids. Food for kids was given complimentary. Service was prompt and courteous. Prices are on upper side.Anyways, we enjoyed every moment of evening.

Relatively better than what is being served and sold elsewhere. A bit of disappointment to see owners keeping the same décor as Cafe Browns - used to be pleasant entry to otherwise dead food scene of Islamabad. Menu was short and focused with the right choices available for temperature, seasoning and taste. Condiments were quite a few and we were offered all. The complimentary beef dish was far more flavorful than the main dish. The prime cut of Chateaubriand was finely prepared. In the end, any kind of coffee was dearly missed. Overall, a good experience.

I always take chicken steak, but this time I tried beef steak at CFU. Steak was good to eat and usually people says that moments you took into mouth it melts. Yes, it did. Will try the chicken steak then I will share that experience as well. Although bit high in price but good to go for steak lovers.

The stake was served cold and thats the deal breaker.I asked for the spicy one which I didnt get. Also I asked for a survey card which was not provided. The ambiance was just fine.

Steak was great - cooked just right. Service on the hand was pathetic. Staff has a very condescending way of treating you. And they had this awfully disgusting smell of an old rag that they were using to wipe tables clean - which just made me vomit. Sorry, but cant recommend just based on them having good food.
