Went there for breakfast. Had Thali with different options.Prices are a bit high but worth it considering the food quality and ambiance.

I visited this place on a friends recommendation. We had Karahi here and the taste was good. Service was satisfactory. Sitting here is normal. Overall it is a recommended place.

After reading the bad reviews here and on FoodPanda i still ordered nehari and naan just to give it a shot and man i was surprised. Their Nehari was one of the best. Serving was good. Naan were perfect. It made my day to be honest. Keep it up Chatthas.

Best Desi food in town. Their makhni handi and kabab karahi along with mutton karahi are the best. Lachaydaar desi ghee parathas and namkeen lassi are a must have too. Hygienic and nice ambience for friends and family alike.

Everything is awesome here except too much naughty distrubing flies (مکھیاں). I dont know why these people are not using electronic insect killer.

Extremely disappointed in service. I ordered to go and when I reached home and we served the breakfast, it was less than I paid. This is not a one of incident. When I was waiting for my order at the restaurant, a number of people complained about similar things. Their takeaway orders did NOT have complete ordered items. This is a rip off place. Do count your puris before you leave.

Excellent Breakfast we ordered nihari and channay along with parathas..Lil bit less salt in nihari but after adding salt it was very tasty..channay were also good..plus lassi was outclass..I liked it very much..

We had the mutton handi desi ghee and the channa daal. Both were excellent. The handi was very flavourful without being too heavy, despite being cooked in desi ghee. The meat was very tender. The whole wheat roti was also very good.

Quanity is too small. And very expensive. No doubt taste is good.

You haven’t had the best Nashta in Islamabad if you have not been to Chathas. Located in not so crowded F-10, you cant go wrong with this place if youre into full-on desi cuisine. Visited here several times (and will visit in future) and every time the food is served with consistently great texture and taste.Staff and Ambience:The servers are dressed neat and tidy, more importantly they look to be having a good time. The atmosphere is quite and cool. At times theres light music too which adds to the overall experience.Food:I always go for either chef’s specialties, or customers’ favorites especially since it gives me a chance to gauge the quality of their best offerings. And I must say there thalis/platters are dainty, appetizing and super delicious. Everything is fresh and served piping hot.In short, if youre looking to enjoy good economical desi cuisine then this is the place to go.

We had a nashta at Chatthas today. Went there with family. 2 ladies, 2 gentlemen, n 2 kids. We tried their lahori thaali, brain masaala, channay and paaye as main. Some of us had their chaye n others tried lassi.Everything was very delicious (Did not take any photos). One of the best nashta experience to date in twin cities. Not too spicy. Even kids loved it. Paye were not up to the mark but the rest was great. Channay brain masala n matar qeema was the highlight. Their naans were fresh and Desi ghee paratha was just... Wow. Lassi was toooooo sweet wouldnt recommend.The place is family friendly but overcrowded and noisy. So for cozy diners Id say please dont even try. Hope you find the review useful.

It is another good addition in Islamabad Desi food.We went for breakfast as a family few days ago and really enjoyed our first visit. We ordered two different Thalies and food was tasty. Their Nihari was A+. The chai was really karak (strong). Naan were tasty and the Desi gee parathas I loved most bc they were not the white maida(all purpose flour) parathas which every other restaurant usually have. They were made by chakki atta(brown flour) thats why more delicious and healthy as well.

I have always liked their food. The price of chicken for soup is simply rip off, Rs. 389 for a bowl of soup. It was a simple chicken soup perhaps which they got off from near by street vendors for 70rs.Besides that, food is good but menu has not added any more items. The daal was unique 2 yes ago not now!!!

This place is yummiest. I would like to give it full fledge 5 stars and I mean it Talk about my personal favourite, its GARLIC NAAN. The perfect aroma is still stuck in my head. ️ Ambience, serving, taste, sitting and prices are all on point. Must visit guys.

Best halwa puri breakfast in Islamabad

Sorry but its a bit over-rated place. Way too much oil in each extra tiny serving.Seriously, if they were generous in serving rather than oil floating on my food, I would give 4 starsFlavour is typical home-made food but no waow factor.

Ordered Lahori Channay with Rogni Naan.a) Lahori Channay: Way too spicy and lot of oil in it. You cannot feel the taste of channay only spices. The name is Lahori Channay but not even close to the taste of original Channay available in Lahore. Price Rs.295/ signal serving.b) Rogni Naan: The rogani naans were not rogni naans but simple kulchay. Random tandoors have better Rogni Naan’s than this fancy resturant. Rs.60/- naan.Way too pricy for the quantity and quality.

I visited this place for dinner, with two of my colleagues. This place is situated in Tariq Market, F-10, Islamabad.The choices in the menu are not much, there was hardly any vegetable in the menu. Almost all dishes were either of chicken or mutton. We ordered some dishes for dinner. The serving size was just OK, and the taste was ordinary. Ambience was OK, staff was efficient and courteous.The person who recommended the place to me, actually recommended their breakfast, which is served at all time. I think, I should go to this place again for breakfast.

Was in the vicinity of the Tariq Market area when my grandpa started craving something desi. I said okay, I have heard of Chattas, we can go there. They might set us up with something nice.Drove there and the first impressions of the restaurant was really good. Nice, clean, albeit a relatively small setup, a wheelchair accessible entrance, and courteous staff.As it was our first time here, we started off with something lowkey to get a taste of the place. Dal Chawal seemed like a nice bet.Well, it wasnt. The daal was a bland, liquidy mess (it should be dense and somewhat spicy for daal chawal), two kebabs were perched atop the boiled rice and they felt cold and stale, the raita that was served was very sour (dahi must be old). The only redeeming factors were the fluffy rice and a well-made kachumber salad.The price was Rs. 240/serving. Nothing too steep. But with the quality of food that was presented, I wouldnt trust them to do well with the more expensive items on the menu.Go there only if you havent yet experienced authetic desi food.

Loved the food ️Desi breakfast menu has everything. Too bad its only available till 12pm.Parking is an issue. Went on a Monday morning still was unable to find a parking spot.Nevertheless had a great time.Will be eating from here everytime I come to Islamabad!

Located in F10/2, Islamabad. Chattas offers nice desi options for breakfast and other meals. Combination platters (Thali) of various types are a good option if you wish to try a mix of various items. We went for breakfast around 9:30 am on a Saturday morning and the place wasnt crowded much. Food was served on time and was good as well. Platter/ Thali is enough for 2-3 elders with an additional serving of naan or paratha if required. Our order was as follows:-1. Lahori Thali - Approx Rs. 10002. Halwa Puri Nashta - Approx Rs. 3003. Three Lassis2. Two Karak Doodhpattis3. One Additional Desi Ghee ParathaThe total bill came up to approx Rs. 2200 and we had a lot of leftovers from the Thali.Food taste and quality was fresh and good. Lassi was good too. Overall a good experience and with reference to its location, Id say its reasonably priced. Recommended if you are a desi food enthusiast.

Chatthas is my favourite place for Desi Food in Islamabad. Their Madrasi Handi and Makhni Karahi are a must have! Prices are okay too considering the serving quantity. They need to work on their nihari though

Heard a lot of people talking for this place but it was a sheer disappointment. A very small facility with very high price tag and barely acceptable quality and taste. If we compare it with other equal restaurants it does not stand with them.
