Didnt visit these days but ordered from them. The quality of food is quite good. The prices are economical and packaging is spot on.

This place is no more in F-7.They are a wonderful restaurant but they have now moved to G-8 markaz.Its just a Takeaway now, located behind Shaheen Chemist, in G-8 Markaz.Very tasty food ....

The place has good Chinese cuisine within reasonable price range (compared to other places in Islamabad). One economy bowl is good to serve two people.Has good ambiance indoor and outdoor. Can get crowded over weekends. Love their Hot n Spicy food with crackers in chilly winters! The staff is quite friendly as well :)

Pretty place, good food, big portions (bowls) and not very pricey! The spicy honey wings are awesome (though not very spicy), the dumplings were cold so not too great. Main dishes were good!

They have the best Chinese food with amazing ambiance the complimentary mind margarita is super cool.

I really dont know what these guys are doing.I first gave them 4 stars because their food was amazing back in f7. Then they started giving food that was stale and oil felt reused.The family without my knowing ordered again and the food was amazing. Later once we reordered the food was again stale and bad.There is almost no consistency in their food. Dont know what they are doing inside their kitchen.

Nice food at an affordable price. Serving size was also good, except for the butterfly prawns we ordered as starters, which were quite small, but tasted amazing. The toilets were very clean and well maintained with high quality fittings. Ambience and staff were very satisfactory too. Very good first experience.

Had an overall good experience. Heard good things about the place and it actually was good. The tom yum soup was good may be something that tastes different for first time tasters. The dumpling were on point. The crispy beef was actually succulent and soft. The fish was ok a bit spicy for me actually. The fried ice-cream at the end was also a good experience

The food was very good, the service was very very bad. We almost had to wait for 20 minutes to get to place the order, then it took more than an hour for the food to come. And the. The bill was all wrong and it took another 20 minutes to correct it.

So some people told me that this would be the cheaper version of ginyaki. I understand why they would say that since both places have these bowls; but then they should also say that the place isnt the same as Ginyaki and doesnt have the same vibe and is not cheaper.The service is fairly fast, but they do bring the drinks later and thats a bit frustrated especially when youve asked for tissue or something as well.The crispy beef was really bad; its got some lemony sauce that really doesnt go with it.The chicken with green curry is really great; but the rice served with it could be cooked better.Its also worth adding that Ginyaki is bigger and has a much younger crowd there as well. At dinner time, this place primary had families and very few groups of friends. But of course, this is based off one night.The thaj spicy noodles are terrific! I genuinely just came back for those!!! Forget everything else.

Great place for lunch and dinner!! Incredibly economical price for a huge serving and reallyyyy good quality.Recommended items: tom yum gaii soup, dynamite shrimps, fried prawn, beef salad, special soup, crispy beef, fried ice cream. The other items we tried were great too, but these ones I liked the mossstttt.

I am a doctor by profession Alhamdulillah and was posted in Isolation Unit, PIMS, Islamabad for the month of May. It was the holy month of Ramadan and we all doctors were fasting Alhamdulillah. I was on night shift and we had to do suhoor in Isolation Unit. It is very difficult to arrange quality food while being on duty as it is an emergency situation and all health care staff is overwhelmed with the difficult task at hand. Shanghai Wok provided the healthcare staff at PIMS with quality food on daily basis and we are more than grateful for this and we cant thank you enough. Jazakallah o khair ️

Lovely and affordable

I have been here 3/4 times and enjoyed my food here always but its bit overrated though. Place is mostly crowded esp on weekends. Service is fine. Servings were plentiful for us.

Excellent environment with good food taste

Excellent taste of the dishes. You have choice of basic bowl which can have rice or noodles or both. You add chicken, beef or seafood. We had Shanghai chicken, ching mai chicken and spicy crispy beef. Ching Mai was really spicy and thats how we wanted it to be. It had a special authentic condiment khoajuwan which is real hot and spicy and you dont find it anywhere. So full marks for taste. Beef was great too. We had planned to have the fried ice cream but were so full we couldnt stuff any more. Good experience.

Very good experience I must say

Just like its sister restaurants ginyaki, bamboo bowl etc. it has limited options for Chinese. Chowmein was good while rice were a little dry and overcooked. Taste of the gravies and other mains is okay. The quantity of ad ons is not much.

This menu of this restaurant and the serving style is a carbon copy of Ginyaki, which, too, is located nearby.Have been here many times during last few months. Their food is delicious and prawns are not overcooked, as they normally are in Pak restaurants.

Shanghai wok special soup was good. Their crispy beef was delicious and good.

Its good to be there with friends and specially for chinese food lover

I am from overseas and will rate this restaurant because it’ll help others out. One of the worst Chinese restaurant in Islamabad. Was going to Ginyaki but ended up trying Shanghai Wok. Their beef and chicken dishes were ridiculously bad and fish item was okay. I don’t recommend this to anyone especially when Ginyaki is literally next door.

Nice environment but food taste below average. Need to change cook.
