Its one of the oldest parks of the city in which the swings and obstacles were gifted by Japan. Its a wonderful place to be in with kids to have fun and also have a beautiful scenery, fresh air and less noise as compared to so many other places in the city. I always enjoy been here and been coming here for around 30 years..

Park is open nowadays. Only mask restriction. Gifted by people of Japan. Lots of greenery and good play area for kids. Even grownup can have a good time. Horse rides approx 150 per person for a 5 min ride. 20 rupees entry ticket for adults 10 rps for children. Jumping castle 50 rps, trampoline 50 rps. Best time to visit in winters is during day 10 to 12. Very less crowd before 12. Football not allowed inside park. Outside food is allowed. Small snack bars inside. Drinking water is available inside the park where you can fill your water bottles.

Japanese Children Park is more than just a children park. Its spread over a reasonable area. It contains not only children playing and fun activities like slides and swings but it also has children physical exercise and training activities and equipment. Children love to perform the activities as these have been very well designed and built. The park is very well maintained and beautifully designed.

Its more than a children park.Actually it is a Children training and exercise park.You can have lots of slides, swings and many more with small and large size variety.One must go with kids if you are in Islamabad.You can have barbq there and even celebrate your kids birthdays with full fun.There is a jog track also to loose fat while kids are enjoying swings and slides.

It was a good Park with nice places to visit around. Children play areas are also good and large. Cafeteria is small but has basic things like tea and snacks. Restrooms are also available separately for gents and ladies. Overall a good place to spend time with family.

Japanese Park is one of the best places to take your family to. It has more than 2 dozen swings for children under 12 years of age. The best thing about the swings is the wooden structure and safety sand underneath it. It has most of the practical obstacles of army training, which help kids in physical growth. There are many trees and lawns in the park. The best strategy is to bring your own food and have picnics in the lawns. But please put all the litter in waste bins of the park. There are some additional swings by private contractors mostly for adults and grown-up kids. Its the best place for a trip with family and kids. Nice scenery for photography of Margala Hills. If you are looking for a place to take your kids to, Japanese Park is an option worth considering. Islamabad zoo is next to Japanese Park, so kids get to see two places in one visit. I recommend home cooked food for kids as the food of the park is not that good.

Beautiful place but need some attention from the govtl like management need to built more toilets, strict actions needed against littering, canteens needs to be upgraded. Rest everything is fine but this place has a big potential and could be much better.

Amazing experience to be here. Very well maintained park with excellent quality swings and other children activities.Peaceful, and calm. We visited around 11am but I am sure experience I afternoon and evening will be a lot better.

It used to be good and fun as long as it was well maintained. Not anymore, they dont even cut the grass and most of the playground equipment is destroyed or damaged and there have been no repairs for years.

Such a lovely place.. even though one or two swings got broken..but the place has a lively atmosphere that brings me back to my childhood... Even if one doesnt have kids...One enjoys just going there ... sitting under the sunshine..and enjoying the greenery surrounding the whole park...Though,park should be kept a little more clean..but overall this place definitely gets a 5star..Especially ,the swings and slides... keeps kids physically active... better than sitting at home rotting in front of their I pads/tabs etc

Japanese Children National Park having Zoo inside is used as attraction for children and picnic point for elders as well. Having a few animals in zoo and limited facilities even for children, there is a lot of work required to be done for its improvement and addition to make it better park for Islamabadians.

Japanese Park is a good place for kids’ entertainment and it’s small as compare to children play land in Lake View Park. It is beneath of Margalla Hills and very near to Islamabad Zoo. Swings and other entertainment are also available for kids. Play land area is not well maintained as it should be.
