The museum is worth watching. Lot of attraction for kids and even adults of all ages. Administration can be improved. The balochi Therium is placed at such a point where generally nobody wants to go. The entrance may be adjusted such that every body can experience that giant animal. Overall it was a good visit.

This is a must visit for all those who are in twin cities and those who visit Islamabad. Students should specially visit this place its very informative and educational place. You will find in depth the history of Natural heritage of Pakistan. From geography to plants,animals,stones,insects,birds,fisheries etc all are on display with details

Great place to visit if you are interested in Natural History of Pakistan. There are stuffed animals, sculptures of animals, interacting dinosaurs, skeletons of animals, etc. Well maintained. Ticket is also extremely reasonable. Not recommended for old & disabled persons as the Museum is divided into various floors and only accessible through stairs.

Pakistan museum of natural history is house of real natural thing.must visit their with your family.but remember dont bring handicap person or child..there is no ramp facility available.. only stairs can be used for going upstairs and downstairs..its a negative point here. Thats why i rated 3 Star.

The museum is a great source of information for all ages of people. But it requires regular maintenance from the Government employees who are working there. Overall a great experience! All star ratings! :-)

Great place.A must visit place for study tours of classes matric and fsc. Informative.

My 5 yr old son and 7 yr old niece loved the place. It couldve been managed better but the sections on fossils, insects, birds and their eggs, and dinos were of interest to the kids

Its a unique place for kids. They absolutely love it because there are lots of animal figures to look.. also there are dinosaurs on the top floor... that is something the kids would like alot because they move.. the have those simulations with voice and movement. Very nice ..

Indeed an extraordinary experience and facility for learning about the natural sciences history of Pakistan. It is great source of children learning as well. Museum is relatively better managed than the time I visited earlier. However, outside surrounding areas, the landscape around balochitherium needs maintenance and improvements. Parking could also be improved. Pakistani tourists must learn to respect such places and follow instructions for staying away from models and unnecessarily touching items and animal fixtures.

Thought provoking. To me its nostalgic, me thinks. Most people visiting Islamabad miss such places. I expect students especially to see this museum whichever the field they are from.

A place where you can find and know about history of pakistan. When you land in front of museum you see a huge skelton of whale that creates curiosity. This curiosity continues all along. There are multiple floors with different cultures and old things from all over the pakistan. You learn about every cultures, weathers, lands, rocks, birds, animals and etc.

Nice science museum. It has four floors with different models and species of stuffed animals and models of animals and marine life. Recommend if you are already in the vicinity of Shakar Parian. However, this museum needs lot of improvement too.

The first three divisions are engaged in the collection, preservation, identification and research activities pertaining to plants, fossils & minerals and animals resources of Pakistan respectively, while the latter is responsible for mass education and popularization of the natural history through various displays, exhibits and dioramas.

It has exhibits and galleries which display and provide information about the ecology, geology, and paleontology of the country. Currently, the museum houses a collection of over 300,000 objects.The museum also acts as a research center and works closely with the Lok Virsa Museum.I have about all the antique things using in old time.My this tour is very awosome.

The museum of natural history Pakistan has indeed surpassed its expectations. It was a nice experience.The museum has a decent amount of attractions to offer its visitors.It is divided in different sections.It is worth going. But I recommend that you visit on a weekday rather then weekend.The ticket is 30 rupees only for one person.

Still undergoing renovation but the place is indeed filled with knowledge and history, from information related to stones and fossils everything is almost present. Various Science exhibitions are also held at this venue.But still the place seems a little gloomy for a national museum. Steps should be taken to allow more sunlight in the museum building so that the people have a real insight and feel of the wildlife and the history of man and his belongings.

It is a good nice place to visit... There are variety of stuffed animals... One thing lacking is no detailed description and history is attached with every animal or species displayed... Being a museum in the capital I think it should be richer, spacious and more informative... There is always a space for improvement...

Good place to visit with your childeren..... Very informative.... Some displays are really nice.... Especially the birds section ....but some sections are under repair..... And it needs to be properly maintained.... In some rooms there were no fans or ventilation it becomes unbearable to stay there........ And I think they have plenty of space avaiable to them which can be developed into something very nice.... Over all must visit place .....not a friendly place when it comes to persons with wheel chairs or disabilities as there is no lift, or ramps.... The only way to go to different levels is through stairs

Museum is very informative but upper floors are a little mismanaged. Most of the LCD screens are not functional. But overall a good place to visit. Parents must take their kids to this museum and give them a detailed tour. Highly recommended for students and science enthusiasts. Ticket is only PKR 30 and the museum remains open on Sundays.

Great place to have an outdoor activity with kids.Very informative and all encompassing.My daughter enjoyed a lot here and her knowlege of animals increased without any boredom.It was knowledge with fun.Had a great time there.Another plus point is the vicinity of Lok Virsa Heritage Museum .It takes only 5 to 10 minutes of drive to reach there.

I really liked it. It was well managed and everything was arranged nicely plus there was information for each things.There were almost 4-5 floors i presume, each floor was allocated for one sort of type. One floor for marine animals other for flora other for fossils another for dinosaurs there was also top floor unreconstruction for solar system.There were skeletons of blue whale, elephant, giraffe

It is decent place to visit but lots of work is required for interior and exterior setting. They really need to work on adding lifts for family with kids.

Pakistan Museum of Natural History is controlled and managed under the supervision of Pakistan Ministry of Sciences and its a good addition to the city.It is located at the Shakarparian Mountain and just on the way to Pakistan Monument. The meusum is having many things related to natural history and very good place for leaning for the kids.Its also having skeletons of two Whales found dead on the beaches of Pakistan.A very good place and one must visit this.

Natural History Museum of Pakistan is good place of learning for the kids, adults and especially for the students of natural sciences. It has a differnet sections that showcase various types of birds, insects, marine & soil animals. It also has a section of rocks, stones and precious pearls etc. I observed that it hasnt been reorganized since long as I believe that new variety of different natural resources can be showcased there for greater human interest.

A nice place to visit and learn about history of mamals, human, rocks etc, the museum has a very good Management and the artifacts and fossils are in great shape a nice place to visit only Rs-30/- per person. The only thing i didnt like was the AC was not working and the solar system as well other wise it was a great experience.

Ideal for families and school going kids.People having issues with stairs should avoid as there are no lifts here

Dirty corridors, defective display pieces, pethatic public toilets and stalled renovation work.... Needs serious attention of concerned high ups.... Because, it seems to be a good museum by its conception.
