BEST PLACE EVER, its a lovely place and nicely Harry potter themed and not only the ambiance and great the food was DELICIOUS. Best steaks Ive ever had and the grill burger was no less of a hype. i totally loved the place as a potter head but regardless I was amazed by their quality of food, the servings, decoration, the theme, the ambiance, everything was just amazing. Im from Lahore and it is pretty hard to love food other than Lahore but Id love to go there anytime when I can. Its a 10/10 for everything.

This place is soooooo different.. This place really deserves a review, this place actually has made me write it.Being a Harry Potter fan I desperately wanted to go to The Smokey Cauldron a.k.a Hogwarts Cafe in Islamabad so I went there.The moment you enter the place, Youll fall in love with the interior.The ambiance, the furniture, the wall hangings, the props, frames,  everything did complete justice to the Harry Potter fans.Coming to the food,. We ordered, butter Beer was the most amazing drink on this planet earth!The main courses ordered were Spicy Pasta, Half blood steak.The taste of everything we ate was soooooooooooo good.This is such a fascinatingg place. Hats off to the initiators

Amazing place with awesome environment. Best place for a Potter Head.chicken parmesan was amazing. Beef steak was not upto the mark but still loved the place. They got t-shirts and hoodies with potter quotes and designs as well.would love to go there again

Had heard a lot about this place, so finally decided to go there. And man it was an experience I should not have waited for. The ambience is amazing and food was awesome. Ordered chicken steaks. Presentation of steaks and taste was to die for. Some joints have good food but weak ambience. Some have good environment but lousy food. This place is one joint which have both and the owner is my namesake Haider is a friendly person who ensures that you are well served. All and all an amazing place even if you are not a Hogwarts fan.

Food was really good, chicken mushroom steak was nicely done & so was the beef & chicken burger! Service was really good. good food that makes you happy.

The Restaurant has been decorated on Harry Porter Theme. I, my wife and son, enjoyed our meal and coffee. The quality of the food was very good and the staff were very courteous and helpful. I ordered a Mushroom Soup and a Chicken Stake (called Half Blood in the Restaurant). Both these items were well prepared and the stake was served sizzling hot. I enjoyed it very much. My wife ordered Olive Sandwich and my son Chicken Sandwich. Both appreciated their respective meals. The toilet was also very nice and clean.

Good service and an absolute perfect harry potter themed restaurant. But the food is kinda expensive and there is alot of room for improvement. But overall the place is lit

I loved the food, and the staff was very considerate and polite. The ambience is pretty cool too, with interesting bits of fan fiction at the end of the menu if youre into a bit of reading.I ordered the cream of mushroom soup and the fluffys pasta, both of which I can vouch for and tasted extremely good. The butter-brew was a bit too sweet for my taste but if caramel infused desserts are your thing, go for it!We also ordered the loaded fries and a beef burger off the menu, which were also very good. The loaded fries are a mist have appetizer if you ask me!

Very cozy. They should scrape the tables once in a while. The rustic look is becoming a bit slimy. The food is the highlight. Ordered 6 different dishes. The size of the beef steak was barely adequate. Nice flavors and textures all along. Will definitely visit again. Portion sizes leave you wanting just a bit more and not by a long margin. Thumbs up

Very average food.Loaded fires were tasteless and highly overpriced they were for ~ PKR 560.The quantity of fries were equal to Rs.50 fries on a stall.The steak were filled with onions, which was not cooked properly.Not recommended at all!!These 2 stars rating are for the ambiance only!

Well, If you are a harry potter fan or like fantasy themed cafes, its a beautifully crafted setup. Take Photos and have fun but most importantly enjoy your steaks.

A rare restaurant in Islamabad with Harry Potter theme which is tastefully decorated. They have awesome Harry Potter props for kids (& adults) to enjoy. Food is superb in taste & presentation. Prices are reasonable considering the value addition due to the superb decor / ambiance.

An excellent place for Potterheads. Makes you feel as if you are right there within the leaky cauldron. The exquisite dishes are also nostalgic references and great attention to the tiniest of details.

One sentence. If you love Harry Potter series than you must this place. The place is very well decorated with Harry Potter theme. The food quality is good. Drinks are bit expensive. The sitting area is both upstairs and downstairs. But upstairs is more recommended. They offer costumes too so that one can have a complete feeling of the theme. Sometimes the area is filled and one has to wait for the table to get free. Kids will enjoy their stay here.

Very nice place to hang out. Kids love this place. Food is also very good. However because of the goodness of ambience, kids tend to wander around taking 100s of pics instead of eating. Staff is also very good and kids friendly.

They do justice to the Harry potter theme in every way ! From The entrance to the creaky stair case, the moving pictures on the wall and the wands (they have an elder wand too !)You can dress up and take pictures as wizards. The staff is courteous and efficientTheir drinks are pretty amazing too and to top it all off They serve the best beef burger Ive ever had- kreachers special!A potter head has to visit this place at least once in their lifetime

Ambient really good, service is alright. They only accept cash. Food was at best at par. I didnt like the steak. Somehow all these places serve the steak with a ton of vegetables on top of the steak. You havent been to the best themed restaurant in Islamabad, if you have not been to Smokey Cauldron. Located in F-6 Markaz, you cant go wrong with this place if youre a Harry Potter fan. Visited here several times (and will visit in future) and every time we have a pleasant experience with consistently yum food.Staff:The servers are dressed neat and tidy, more importantly they look to be having a good time. The owner himself is usually present their can gives an honest opinion about their best dishes.Food:I always go for either chefs specialties, or customers favorites especially since it gives me a chance to gauge the quality of their best offerings. And I must say their Chateau bran steak and Dark Arts burger are dainty, appetizing and super delicious. Everything is fresh and served piping hot.In short, if youre looking to enjoy a good snack with accurate theme ambience then this is the place to go.

A solid 3.5 star place. The food was 4 stars and and the ambience and decorations 3 stars. I dont know what I was expecting, maybe more Harry Potter-ish, but the place had some places with a lot of decor, others just looking like any regular restaurant. The food was pricier than any regular restaurant though, and no special Harry Potter touch apart from the names. Still not bad food, but this place could do much better.

Me and my wife are visiting Pakistan from United States. The Smokey Cauldron was on our list of places to visit, as my wife grown up watching and reading Harry Potter.There is no doubt that owner/designer put a lot of details in this theme restaurant. Food was really good but pricey around $25 for 2 burgers, one coffee and margaretta.Overall it was a really pleasant experience, only request I have for staff and owner is to confine birthday parties to one area because it gets really annoying when other customers starts invading your privacy.
