Their breakfast thaali is very good. We go here for brunch on Sundays. Tea is good too. Please note they are usually not open till 10am on weekdays

Didn’t like the biryani at all. Chicken Tikka and Papri Chaat were also okayish. The food wasn’t that great but I really liked the ambiance. Loved how they have decorated the place with those vintage frames. Would come here again just to have the sweet Lassi.

This place is absolutely amazing. Food is delicious and customer service is spot on. We had lunch thali and the food was very nice. Definitely a must try for everyone.

I went there with a friend and ordered the famous butter chicken and behari kebab. Taste of food was bland specially the behari kebab which lacked the spices. Though the prices are of fine dining with very little food serving, the taste and flavor of food should have been up to the mark.

I used to like it a bit more, I dont visit that often now. Thats mostly because of the revised prices and quantity of the dishes. The famous butter chicken had just two chunks of chicken, Biryani was spot on!I wanna come here more, little tweaking in the prices and serving sizes would be great.

There is no speciality in taste. Things are common that are being served but there is one thing special and thats the price. Who could have thought to buy an egg for RS.315. Like aalu bhujia is cheaper than an egg here. They need to revise their prices for the products they are serving. Moreover, they are charging sales tax in every bill but their filing status is in-active. In short they are making money by fooling people.

Very cosy and decent place with excellent quality food. Service has some issues because of the waiters being lesser in number probably. Other than that, a must visit place.

I randomly went to Khoka Khola for lunch and ordered mutton karahi with tru k driver daal and to my surprise the taste was awesome. Loved each and every bite. Karahi saaf kar k utha. Amazing service overall despite the fact the place was full.Quantity compared to price was also good as we were 3 people who ate it.Taste 10/10

It was an amazing restaurant with a great classic furnishing, light music and delicious food!! i would specially mention their Nihari and Biryani.. It is a must try! And their Quava was something superlicious ( a tea addict can easily relate with it ) 10/10

I loved the tea and the breakfast served here. The menue is so good and enough for three people which is actually a deal for two persons. Paratha (simple and whole wheat), lasssi, omelett, channa, achar, alo bujia, qeema and halwa are among some of delicious breakfast items. The taste of all food feel like home made food items. I like tha interior as well. The place is small but attract a lot of customers due to its taste.

The taste of food is average than before.For breakfast #Chattas is best.No heating system i.e heaters....so much cold environment.Serving staff is good.Food is served within 15 minutes.

Nice experience of dining in a modern Khokha with traditional touch. It really is a small khokha having 6-7 tables due to which it gets a bit noisy when full. We ordered Aloo Naan which was soft n tasty. Although my friend found it spicy but was ok for me. Chana Chat and tea was also good. They serve in stainless steel plates and glass along with steel cutlery. The tea is also served in small glass which gives a feeling of eating at a khokha.Nicely decorated restaurant. One can enjoy good collection of ghazals along with the food.

If you love Desi food give it a try. Food is good , portion is great , they use pretty unique and healthy indgredients. Interior is composed very artisticaly; mixture of modern and desi things. Prices are comparatively lower wrt their location.

A reasonable place to have a brunch with your family. The place is a bit cramped but is well decorated and offers desi food options for brunch and have uniqueness of offering food in desi utensils.

It was 2 days back when i visited Khoka Khola with my friends. My friend actually wanted to eat Desi Food. But we were searching where we can find a good ambiance and also a good quality of food. So just then we Googled offcourse and we find a place nearby to our hotel named Khoka Khola. I must say the place,the food,the ambiance of this place beated alot of Five Star Places. The music of 80s and the selection of songs i must say there were mixed feelings as we found a great place to hangout. Coming to the food very hygienically served and the serving idea was innovative which tempted us to directly dig in withoug wasting a minute. The flavour was amazingly nice. Actually this restaurant served Biryani they know what biryani actually is. Also the #Staff which is a key for a place. Those guys were extremely nice to there visitors communicating with us and actually showing us a gesture of visiting there restaurant. True hardworking attitude.5 Stars from my side.Keep it upWill surely be visiting the same place over and over whenever ill be visiting Islamabad now

If you want a somewhat upscale place to have desi food, then this is an excellent choice. The menu isn’t extensive, but what they have is delicious. The daal chawal I’ve had several times have been spot on with taste and quantity. Best of all it’s neat and clean. The only thing they need to improve on is the choice of drinks on offer.

Absolutely loved the food,we ordered thalis x2 for breakfast which was enough for 5 people.There chai was just so tasty and had a very unique and fresh taste that ended up having a few cups.Only suggestion please please serve Ur delicious teas in big mugs.I am sure evyone would want to have a bit more of that deliciousness.I was so impressed by the management when he saw us a family of 4 people and all women ,he asked another 3 guys to free up a side table for us with a little bit more space and asked them to use another table.This place is highly recommended to visit and they serve breakfast,lunches and have a great menu.The qeema,alo bhujia, halwa on thali and even parathas all tasted like home made,ghar ka khana,must visit.Welldone guys for the excellent management and thumbs up to the whole team.
