Its not only a restaurant, but an iconic institution serving delicious Iranian cuisine. Kabul & Omar Khayyam are the only two restaurants in Islamabad that are consistently good. This place just needs to up its games by better branding and ambience. Otherwise the food is on point. Highly recommend.

This place is one of the oldest restaurants in the twin cities. It is pure authentic Iranian/ Persian cuisine. I’ve been there customer since early 2000. The only difference since then is there portion sizes got shrieked. Else taste is still the same. But it’s good value for money as compare to other dining places. Kebabs are nice juicy and soft. It has got separate toilets for men and women which lot of twin cities restaurants lack. And they are clean with hand wash and hand towels available all the time.

Had dinner here today with my familyIt was a great authentic experience. We had a taste of Iran in Islamabad. The ambiance of the restaurant is authentic. I really recommend this place at least once in a lifetime. The owner is nice and friendly. Welcomes you warmly and says goodbye. It was very nice to hear him speaking Persian. Highly recommended. We loved their kebabs, the baklawa desert and the Iranian tea served in traditional tea cups.

Brilliant food, authentic, decor needs updating. Have been going here for longer than I care to admit. My impression of the food may be in tiny part driven by nostalgia, though I think not. The rice are brilliant, kebabs always tender and service is great. Cant go wrong and should be a must visit if youre in the mood for great tasting food that speaks to who you are.

An awesome place, cozy and very nice ambiance. Staff is very friendly and order is served quick, fresh and accurate. Genuine iranian style and taste, value for money. Food ordered for 7 persons (1 kashk -e- badamjan, 5 chelo kabab, 2 chenje juje, 5lassi, 1 coke, 1 fanta, 5 qahwa) total bill was somewhere around 7500pkr. It was overall a good experience and highly recommended for those who like clean, healthy, non spicy authentic iranian food in a good price. Menu attached for an idea of items and prices.

Iranian cuisine, so only visit if you want to experience it. Authentic taste (not spicy), nice presentation, and speedy service. Retro ambience with classic furniture, gives you a feel of classic Irani restaurant. Staff is very pleasant and accomodating.Accecibilty: The restaurant is in the basement and no elevator, moreover no Wi-Fi and cell phone signals drop considerably so you will be concentrating more on food and company.

The first impression is not great. One has to go down many stairs in the basement and the first impact gives a rather dull look. However, when it comes to the food, the quality and quantity both are very good. They specialize in kebabs and that is what I would suggest in the order.Prices are reasonable and at an average, it would cost you Rs 900/- to 1300/- per person including drinks / appetizers

Its an original Persian restaurant with famous Persia dish Chullu Kabab they have variation in Mutton, Beef and chicken Kabab with rice which is known as Chullu in Persian. The quality was great, ambiance was fine with a traditional setup of late 1980s however, their quantity was that much satisfactory as I had in Persian restaurants KHI.

Not one for the Pakistani palate. The taste is only very sparingly spicy. The chellow kebab was good nonetheless. Doogh (salty lassi) was also good. Baghlava was overbearingly sweet, would not recommend. The service was quick but the waiter was quite inexperienced. He was clanking crockery and dropping cutlery all over the place. The ambiance was okay. (They dont accept credit/debit cards.)
