Taste and ambiance were good. Extremely expensive that not everyone could afford.

Jasons is the steak house of Marriot Hotel. Known for providing one of the best beef steaks in the town, it is a very expensive.The ambiance is great, a bit dark and gloomy but elegant. Steaks are top of the line, amongst the best that you will eat in Islamabad. We tried rib eye steak and found it very good. The serving is good too, at par with the standards of Marriot. However, the restaurant is quite expensive. At an average, it will cost you 7000/- to 10,000/- per head with drinks which is a very high price from any standards. In this price, one may eat 4 times in the other steak houses. Giving it an average rating because of very high rates.

This is the first time I had a bad experience at PC karachi at their Cafe i.e Jasons Steak house, otherwise Me and my family often dine at Chandni and Taipan with our family and friends and we enjoy the food , this time our club sandwiches and fries were cold our order took 40 minutes to arrive the chocolate shake straw was broken although the tiny 3 burgers and fries which my kids ordered were hot, hopefully next time you pay attention to your steakhouse.

So out of all the steakhouses I have been to this was by far my worst experience, food was below standard probably the worst steak I have ever had drinks were average at best and way over priced would avoid at all cost.

The ambiance is good. However food was ok not worth the high price tag at all. Infact the beef fillet mignon was actually bad, not tender at all; it definitely did not feel or taste like Agnus beef. The accompanying mushroom sauce had no mushrooms in it! tasted like water . The crab cakes were not made of crab, probably tuna! Only the pan seared salmon was worth it. Also the complimentary herb butter & bread platter was good. Overall experience: Its an overpriced place with below average food. The server was polite & friendly though I would NOT recommend this place
