Asalamoalikum everyone. We went to american steak house this weekend and we selected this place to dine in based on the reviews we read about this place. Mostly the reviews we read were positive and to our surprise our experience here also turned out to be great ! We were 3 people and ordered 2 fish and chips, 1 mix meat platter and one twin steak ! And believe me, all things were upto the mark ! But the star of the show was mix platter (and it only cost a little ove Rs. 1,000)! It was a true value for money deal for me. It had a decent piece of a lamb steak, chicken steak, mutton chomps and a piece of beef steak complimented by sauted vegetables, an all of these beauties came on a sizzling plate. We were not able to finish the food we ordered so we got it packed and brought home with us.The staff was also nice and courteous. Mostly people we saw there having food were couples and familes. The place is cozy but not claustrophobic. I reccomend every steak enthusiast to visit this place once.Thank you guys. Allah hafiz.

Extremely disappointed with the management and handling of customers. We had to wait almost 15 mins since they did not have any menu to give us (they had handed all of them out to a few other tables). The complimentary garlic bread came after almost half an hour and wasnt anything special either. They had only two waiters serving around 7 tables.Food: We ordered a Mix Combo Platter (grilled beef + grilled chicken + 2 lamb chops), and a Chicken Alfredo. The lamb chops were a little undercooked (raw). Other than that the food was delicious. No complaints there at all.Billing: This is where a big messup occurred. I presented my UBL card at payment time and expected them to adjust the usual 15% off on dinner discount that UBL offers (and which is mentioned even today on the UBL website and app). The manager refused to give the discount and kept saying prices have gone up after Corona and his restaurant has no deal with UBL anymore. I tried to explain to him that it is extremely unprofessional on his part to not even have a disclaimer that discounts are unavailable. He kept beating around the bush about prices being high and blah blah and how he serves 200 customers daily and how he cant inform everyone about it! My feedback to actually help improve their service seemed unwelcome. It is quite shocking that such an old restaurant would create such a bad scene for a measly 400rs, especially when they offer 15% discounts to disgruntled customers (as is evident on all their bad reviews on Google)! I told him he should at least ask UBL to immediately remove the discount offer from their website and app, but it seems to me that they actually want the free marketing UBL is doing for them. :)Price per head: 1500 approx (without desserts)Music : yes, very low and unobtrusiveAmbience: dark, good privacyFood rating: 4/5Experience rating (manager+speed): 2/5

It was the worst. I feel like I just wasted 5k on their tasteless and not so fresh frozen steak which they got ready under 5 minutes. How to cook steak in 5 minutes is still a mystery. On top of that, the manager started discussing how expensive everything is and how difficult it is to manage rent. Highly disappointed and not recommended

For more than 5 years, were eating from this restaurant and not a slight bit of taste has changed because food is prepared by CHEFS and not cooks, like others... Highly recommended

Amazing taste, for food 5/5However management needs to be improved alot, 1st they handed over manual written bills with 500 Rs extra amount charged, after discussion with manager they corrected the amount and provided electronic slip.For new visitors always demand electronic bill and do arithmetic check

One of the oldest steak houses in the city. Steaks are their specialty but you can get pizzas and burgers here as well. Most of the servers are old time employees and recognize old customers. Servers are helpful and make good suggestions to customers.

The best steak house in town. I would highly recommend you people to open an outlet in Lahore as well.

We were in town and were looking for a tasty steakhouse, we certainly found that! The food was delicious and we were served very soon after we ordered. Overall we were very impressed.

FOOD REVIEW:First they served garlic bread which was the worst I have ever eaten.We ordered T bone steak and cowboy steak both medium well.Cowboy steak was good. T bone steak was just okay.Garlic bread: 1/10T bone steak: 6/10Cowboy steak: 8/10Oh yes we also ordered the fresh orange juice which was good.AMBIANCE AND SERVICE:The ambiance was just okay, it was too dark. Food was served in less than 15 minutes. Overall the service was satisfactory.

Went there on Sunday. Terrible service, i asked peper steak with mush potato and my friends was T-bone with fries, they gave us peper steak with fries and T-bone with mush potato, and waitor just told me : it is not a problem and let us just exchange, feel no sorry at all.Lost of laugh. First time and last time go there.

Amazing food and lovely ambience.Moroccan steak was moderately spicy and Chicken Alfredo pasta was of good taste too.They have a pre setup for birthdays which was convenient if you are to celebrate your birthdays.Space is small and lighting is low to keep up your privacy.Defiantly worth a visit and going there again.

I would rate it 4, service wise I rate it gud however meat was though tasty but not very tender as i expected. Hope it wd be better next time.

I cant belive that I didnt try their steaks before. Theyre the best! Try their combo steaks if you want to have a bit of both beef and chicken. Also their lasagna, its heaven sent. P.s they do offer dinning services in car in Covid times.

Ask your cook to taste the food himself at least sometimes to know what suffering other people must be undergoing!Alternatively: just shut it down and do some other stuff!

I cant believe that Ive missed this place all my life is Islamabad! Great ambiance. Excellent steaks and grilled chicken. Thier sampler Platter appetizer was alright though. I feel mozerrela sticks could have more cheese in them. But Id still give them 5 stars for the best hawaiin grilled chicken steak Ive ever had in Islamabad. Quantity was great too! I could not finish it on my own

Its was nice to visit American Steak house after a long time. Loved the ambience as always. They have a new enterence. Looked good. Food was delicious, but I must say they had better standards. Details are the pics. Like there mushroom cream soup. Both steaks were good. Mint Margarita was ok. Need to improve their baked potatoes. Curtious staff as always. Overall a good experience.

American Steak House has always been my top choice to have steaks. They undoubtedly prepare one of the best steaks in town. I went there few days back with my brother. We both ordered beef steaks and enjoyed well-marinated, juicy and tender beef steaks.The sauces topped on the steaks were one of their kind and precisely as per expectations. Highly Recommended for a nice steak.

The steak was ok. Nothing special. Dont know if it was the meat or the cooking. Didnt quite taste right. Have had better. The sauce was really good. I liked it.

We had to wait for a good 40 minutes before they gave us menus, like I understand youre jammed, you can just send someone to apologize or something. Terrible management. The food was okay-ish: bland, and lack of proper sauces. I mean, I ordered a Beef Stroganoff, and you expect mushrooms in it, and, yeah, spoiler alert, they were nowhere to be found. It baffles me how this place has a 4.3 rating. 2/5 feels generous, and I am not charitable.

The best stake in town. Among the very few restaurants who know the meaning of medium rare cooking. Food, quality, environment, pricing all are 10/10.A must have for steaks.

One of the Top.. if not the best stake in Islamabad. And i say this as a genuine stake enthusiast.. they are blowing their competition away. My personal recommendation, Try a platter stake with multiple variations for best experience. Chicken and beef with fish or chops. I assure you, its worth your money.

We loved the food, Super dealicious steaks, went back after a while but have always had fabulous eating experience at the ASH, Both Morocon and Mix Combo Platter had the perfect taste sauce and serving, I had mine with their Mint Margarita and other served with Vanilla icecream shake.Pure gorgeous food, perfect for our taste buds.

Recently visited this place. Located in very prime area. Ordered beaf stakes. One was twin steak and stuff steak well cooked. Both very juicy delicious and full of taste. Its my 1st ever experience that Im having such juicy taste in Islamabad. As fan of lahori taste you can rarely enjoy tasty food in Islamabad. But this is the best steak house here.MUST TRY IT. The servers did not wear masks or gloves and opted to use the restaurants cutlery and utensils instead of packed, disposable items.The chicken mushroom was a bit bitter as if theyd overcooked or burned it slightly.The stuffed mushrooms were just breadcrumb balls with a single mushroom inside - not what your expect when stuffed mushroom is advertisedThe nachos were passableWe were told appetisers would take 10-12 minutes. They took a half hourI had high hopes. Sorely disappointed.

Its one of the oldest steak house in Islamabad. Ambience is quite dark so if you are looking for something uplifting and cheerful, this is not the place. I prefer going here when I want to discuss something in calm and polite environment ,with my friends. Foods always great. Prices are slightly higher than usual. You can spend Rs.1000-1500 per head easily here. Service is usual, nothing extraordinary. Location is convenient.

Lightning is bit low, but best taste of steaks in islamabad thats what matters to me.Tried 3 steaks, morrocan, american and t-bone. If u dont mind little bit fat and bone, i reccomend t-bone !!. You wont regret TRUST ME.

This had THE BEST costumer service i have ever experienced, all over the world. The environment was also amazing. The reason that i gave it 4 stars, however, is because of the food. It wasnt *that* great. But apart from that, it was awesome

Food was ok but the sitting area needs improvement. Light was not good at all. Most of them were blinking which gives headache to most people. Seats werent comfortable at all.

The spicy steak was too dry , without any sauce. Its not that spacious so might wait for a comfortable table to be vacant . service is quick and gud. Employees are friendly and professional. Well to be honest i think the serving of steak was small as small portion of vegetables were provided.
