I had visited Afghan Darbar with my family. Loved the ambiance, beautiful lantern traditional way of presenting food and dim lights.Food was delicious especially chapli kabab. They were tasty, juicy and well cooked.

One of best food restaurant I have ever been in my entire life. This place is very comfortable and quiet. Just a perfect place to sit and eat. The quality of food is very good and delicious. More specially the Afghani Nan is amazing. This restaurant offer food stuffs like chicken karahi, beef karahi, dumba karahi, Afghani pualo, chicken pualo and many more. The sitting arrangement is fantastic. The most interesting point is that from outside it looks nothing but the main restaurant is underground like basement. Once you enter this you will never want to come out. The lighting is superb. Mostly restaurants like this are very expensive but this one is not that much expensive. I just recommend people to visit this special restaurant located close to stock exchange metro bus station blue area Islamabad.

Really like the place. Food quality is good but they take time to deliver the order on time, you have to wait more than usual.

Good for afghani food, palaw, mantoo and peshawri qahwa.

It used to be one of my favourite destinations for kabuli pulao and tikkas in the capital. Unfortunately moved now from bluearea to far away pwd near bahria.Those around must visit afghan darbar. Mahicha pulao is like there must try item.

This place serves Authentic Afghani and Namkeen meaty food especially Afghani Pulao ... From various variety of Chicken. Mutton and beef BBQ, Afghani Naan, especially chatnis and special handis/karahi are part of menu. Food quality is very good, taste is the great, service and sitting area is up to the mark. Price tags are nominal and as per market competition.

Today they couldnt serve the order as they didnt make the dishes mentioned on menu card n were specialty. Their kababs were burnt n curry was tasteless. Chutney was pathetically bad same were the naans.

One can find a variety of Afghan food options here and also vegetarian options are great too

Customer service could be better,Food is just alright and priced as such.

Tasty food & Good Staff

I had a great lunch experience here.Lunch rates are Nominal and deserves what they serve.I had Karahi afghani naan slad raita drinks ...Staff their have a particular dress they wore..representing the tradition of afghani darbar... Had a goot time ervice time was also nominal 20 minutes

There are many Reasons for my very low review of this place, to list a few they are...The place itself is in the basement and not very easy to find , it is very dark and the ambient lighting isnt very good either.Ok, for a party of four adults we were given 1 menu card, so we either had to nominate an individual to order for everyone or each take turns in selecting a certain dish from the menu.The food arrived after approx 30mins , i guess not too much of an issue, when the meat dish arrived, to my disbelieve it had a lot of bones with some meat on them , yet more FAT.Soft drinks were ordered , which had to asked for 3 times from the waiter before they finally arrived .The selection of chops werent any better, and there was a horrible smell coming from them, personally i had to convince myself that i was eating meat of a cow or lamb. The taste was also horrible which left a bad taste in ur mouth.The naans were nice and large, but sorry to say , they werent soft and were hard ..As for recommending this restaurant, well my answer is NO..Just a few doors away well within walking distance is lasanya, which looked far more busier and brighter plus welcoming.I dont know how they are awarded a 3 star rating , but for me yhey are only a 1star restaurant, and will never go back...
