As we know that there are scarcity of family places to visit in Hyderabad like Bengalore or Pune, this is the last option. Luckily anyone can get good option to spent time like boating, park, water activities, horse riding, foods and movies. For boating they provide multiple options like normal boating (price 20 rs to 50 rs with capacity of 50-100 people), Entertainment boating with music and dance performance (price 50 rs to 100 rs with capacity of 30-50 people). Apart from that there are other option in speed boat (350 rs for 4 and 450 rs for 6) and medium speed boat (450 rs for 6 to 550 rs for 6) and other option with 7-8 people for 700 rs. I liked the speed boat for thrilling and adventure. You can also opt for some fun games there. Overall good place to visit with kids.

Lumbini Park is located on the banks of the beautiful Hussain Sagar Lake and we had visited this popular tourist attraction during our sightseeing in Hyderabad. We had gone on a Saturday evening and the place was very crowded. Tickets are priced at 20 rupees per person but another 100 rupees if you have camera or else store it in the cloakroom. There are limited rides inside the park, food stalls but main usp is the boating on Hussain Sagar Lake and the beautiful laser show in the evening.

Lumbini Park is the place from where you can get boats for a round at Hussain Sagar lake and you can alight at the Buddha statue.Well developed park with many rides or activities for kids. You can get a mechanised boat at 50Rs per person which stops at Buddha statue, while other boats like speed boat, delux boat, family boats dont stop at the statue and have higher fares. It is worth stopping at the buddha statue though.Laser show is famous at lumbini park but due to pandemic the show and kids rides were not operational.Bags are not allowed inside park and you have to deposite your belongings at the cloakroom at ₹20. You also have to purchase entry ticket for the park.The park is a crowded affair and no social distancing or wearing masks is followed there if you are going in covid times. It has a fountain in it and kids were freely swimming in the water there .Another attraction NTR garden is situated just across the road. Parking is available at NTR park.

Its a very joyfull place specially the ferry boat facility in very cheap price there are varieties in boats like speed boat sharing boat the middle of the Lake budhha statue is located and its mesmerizing.

Home bodies will enjoy coming to this park, it is located centrally on hussain sagar, with slides, swings and children play ground entry fee is minimal Rs.15 or so, there is a water fountain, water cascade and other attractions if you wish to see hussain sagar buddha idol, you can take a boat ride costing Rs.350 per head and go watch in the middle of the lake a platform where there is a large buddha and a small standing area to enjoy snacks if you have any, the boat ride is very small and cosy, 9 am to 9 pm the working times, you can also buy snacks inside or outside the entrance of the park.

Nice place not all entertainment, boating of three type speed boats for 4&7, passenger boat to alight at Buddha statue. Laser show is closed due to covid 19. Parking is away from entry point.

It has lot of memories for me. Good place to be with family in evening time. But if u want to go with family in day time you will find lot of couple around. So better avoid going there during day time. Lot of nice activities to do there, like going on yatch and music programs on it. Small train and jumping adventure. You will love it. Bad part is very smelly.

Visited with family on the evening of Dec 23rd, really to see the Buddha statue. The statue really is very beautiful, majestically set in Hussein Sagar Lake, and accessible via a quick boat ride.Lumbini Park - poorly appointed, and disappointing that Telangana Tourism is doing absolutely nothing to ensure visitors have their masks on once inside the park.

Very crowded,Only thing which you may go for is boating again grt on to private speed boat which does not let you stop at budhdha statue ask why answer is god only knows like any other thing someone from top in bureaucracy come up with this idea to not let private speed boat there.

Its a nice place to go and spend few hours with friends and family. Good for kids. Better to visit during evening hours. It provides some boating experiences like fast boating, mechanised boating, etc. The Buddha statue area is also good but is generally crowded. Dont expect much from the location. Its just commercialised for little entertainment. But the city area as well as lake looks beautiful at night. It offers a small light show too.. overall u can go there once.
