We stayed at the Holiday Inn Amritsar during our weekend trip. The overall experience was amazing. The staff was very courteous and the food was amazing. They have a very nice spread of buffet breakfast and dinner which should not be missed. The bella-asia is their authentic italian cuisine restaurant and serves delicious pizza and pastas. We also explored the lounge on the rooftop and were happy trying both their cocktails and mocktails. Overall the experience was delightful. The proximity of the hotel to the Amritsar junction will make it a perfect choice for you.

This is a hotel which is an excellent hotel inside out...The service was awesome and the staff is very friendly.. The breakfast buffet was good as it had a live kitchen as well where you can order freshly made dosa, poori, paranthas , pan cakes and tea. The area is also good in terms of safety and security. Hotel did follow the safety measures keeping covid -19 in mind.. The beauty is that its in the heart of the city , Golden temple is just 15mins drive.. I strongly recommend the stay here. To be Honest Now feels Like a second home to me with thanks from the Management of this Property.Still Remember upon check-in at the Reception The Reception Team and twice interaction with M.s.Daljit who every evening while staying several times since last 2 months makes sure to call and check if everything is alright in room.Really a very professional approach.Another reason coming back is the GM Mr.Ajinkya who with his lovely smile professionally greets IHG members and always is there for any issue or cleans rooms everytime we check-in.The Management under his vast international experience what i came to know really have matured enough now to really handle everything in a very professional way, even not to miss twice interaction with the Cleaning team think was Sonia very professional need to say.Was taken care upmost even with Covid norms the Hotel has managed very well and even the FB manager Mr.Rana took take and made sure best food is served.Thanks to all the Management really it feels now is a Second Home for me :)Really very Much impressed from this Property ...

Was bit scared to stay in a hotel during this pandemic but in all honesty, staff makes all efforts to make the stay as comfortable n safe as it can be. For any institution, their staff is their asset n for this hotel , I think they are going above n beyond to make everyone stay safe n comfortable. From contactless check in to housekeeping on request, everything has been thought.Would like to mention few names who are real asset to the team here. Ajinkya (duty manager), smiling face behind the mask but willing to do anything to make a comfortable n safe stay for the guest.Chef Binoy n Chef Kapil n Chef Anwar amazing team n another great asset to hotel. It was a pleasure staying at this Brand new property, which is 10 minutes from the Goldwn temple. Holiday inn is a nice hotel with excellent food and service. They offer coffee in the room. Breakfast is good and you can choose: Indian, continental, etc. Also the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed weekend getaway a lot. I will definitely stay there again.Want to thank particularly ranjeet and Daljeet.

A No Frills hotel with a bunch of comfort and amenities. Location is great, but do note that it is not near to the Golden Temple! I’ve stayed here about 8-9 times, I didn’t had any problems during any of my visit.

Holiday inn - located in the commercial hub of Amritsar . This property is beautiful, centralised. It has ample parking space , beautiful lobby area , delicious food , cooperative staff & hygienic bathrooms.

It has a great infrastructure. The rooms have sufficeint space and good furniture. The plus point is the comfort provided by the staff in the difficult time. The food is excellent. And the welcoming staff of the hotel. The 7 days were amazing at the hotel. I wish to visit again.

Planning to Visit Amritsar, should you stay at Holiday inn?In short answer is Yes, but as you could probably guess from my star rating that it would not be the most ideal stay and you can have plenty of options available if either you are happy to shell more or you are happy with less than a lavish stay.To elaborate a bit more I will share the Pros and Cons here which can give a fair idea and in end the decision is yours!Pros:- Location is good (Ranjit Avenue) with open spaces around and easy to navigate. Golden Temple is still about 5.5 km which can be a con if you are looking stay too nearby.- Hotel staff is very friendly and well behaved.- Rooms are spacious enough and overall ambience is good enough.- Breakfast is lavish as expected with multiple choice and tastes good.- There is Italian open restaurant on the roof top.Cons:- Few lavish amenities are missing like Spa, kids room or indoor sports.- Swimming pool size is too small and is not covered or heated.- TV inside the room is too small and the places in room needs redecoration.Overall I was a bit disappointed from what I expected from a Holiday inn chain which could have been better.Important Note : The Hotel Star rating (not the customer rating) on some of the most used travel booking app is given as a 5 star while the actual rating on hotels website is 4 only so please be aware of it.

This property is great to stay in amritsar if you are on a short trip. I had a one day stay there which turned out to be great. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The food is good. The staff is helpful and polite.I was really disappointed by the swimming pool as the water was not at all clean. Else everything was good. Rooms were clean and beautiful with all tbe facilities.A basic room would cost you around 4500 to 5k for a day so do check out for some great deals and discounts online you might grab one. Hotel is nice, but with no bellboy, services are average, some dishes at dinner buffet are not gud. no amenties in room except shower gel, shampoo, u have to ask for it, may be due to covid, they are doing some cost cutting.

I had a wonderful stay here with my family. The buffet breakfast is to die for. Good security system which is something I want to appreciate in specific. What makes this place better than the best?.....well, just walk across the street to have mouth watering Amritsari kulcha and lassi from famous kulcha shop.

We stayed in the Hotel when visiting family for an event. We chose this hotel for its great location. We were graciously greeted after reaching the Hotel in the late evening. Check In was prompt and room was allotted in no time. The room was quite decent and spacious with nice amenities. The Hotel staff was prompt in resolving and guest needs and are quite professional. The Guest Rooms are spacious and decently decorated with all the amenities required for a stay in a hotel while you are travelling away from your home.We had a breakfast in the hotel and quite liked it as it is a very good spread taking care of different pallets. The restaurant staff gives individual attention to all the guest which makes you feel good.It is very convenient to visit various tourist places in Amritsar but still stay away from the Amritsar traffic. There are few good restaurants near the hotel to enjoy authentic Amritsar cuisine.Even though the Hotel security is quite good but the Car parked on the street in front of the Hotel doesnt give you full satisfaction.We will definitely like to stay there again when we will visit Amritsar next time.

I complaint at reception but problem not solve. Rooms sofa and bed center table condition is very Poor. Hotel staff is very helpful.Breakfast is good BUT AMRITSAR FAMOUS CHANA KULCHA NOT AVAILABLE.STRANGE ROOM SMELL AND PARKING ON ROAD IS MAIN PROBLEM.BUT TAJ SAWARNA AND HOLIDAY INN AMRITSAR PRICE DIFFERENCE NOT MUCH BUT QUALITY DIFFERENCE TOO MUCH.

Very nice hotel.....at least one of if not the best in the area. Buffet breakfast very good.....cooked to order eggs and dinners very good as well. Wait staff very attentive. The king room was excellent...bed comfortable, the a/c cold, and the shower hot! The on property Italian restaurant Bellahad good food, the service was slow the night I was there. They seemed short handed. Based on the rest of my experience it seemed like a bad night for them.....worth another try. There is a nice fitness center and what looks like a great meeting facility with space for and small events. The laundry service did a great job as well. Looking forward to another visit!

My perfect holiday in amritsar started as i checked in to Holiday inn hotel. The location of the hotel was so good with transport facilities available just next to the hotel I could reach the golden temple within one hour from my check in time and return late night safely. My second fay was a free day and i spent most of my time lying on the soft and cozy comfortable bed. Finally i am looking forward to spend my futte vacations with holiday inn only

Hotel is situated In the middle of the city in the most posh area of the city. Rooms are big and clean. House keeping staff is very polite & friendly. Food Quality is also extremely good. one could find all sorts of scrumptious meals at ZIVA. Overall great place to stay

Holiday Inn Amritsar. Reviewed on 19 June 2018.Overall good experience with nothing major to complain. The only thing that can be improved is to have more water pressure in the bathroom. Like the prompt service. I asked for scissors to cut bag tag, and the person came in immediately. Typically my experience in other hotels is opposite. Even the service during breakfast was also fast, all the waiters and captains were asking if I want to order anything special. I visit holiday inn almost every 2-3 months as a regular customer, i am totally at home here :) as always lovely food especially dinner and courteous staff - I specifically need to mention few people surbhi at front desk along with her colleague were very helpful and polite ...Ranjit at the restaurant during breakfast was attentive to everyone ( the highlight is he cannot speak or hear) I commend the policy of holiday inn that they recruited a deserving person without any biases towards his special abilities. Thank you again for a great stay. A very small observation the restroom wasnt up to the mark for the first time after I checked in thus 4 stars - but otherwise always a pleasure and I will be back soon as always!

Attended a wedding here. Courteous staff, good rooms but horrible room service. The breakfast was decent. Amole space for parties. Pool area is quite pretty. Location is great, pretty close to all tourist spots and airport.

We went there for booking banquet hall for wedding function. We waited for 20 min and no one bother to attend us. Moreover they ask to to wait the place , where the AC was not working and we were sweating.Really this is 5 Star ?????

Located in the heart of city near to the railway station and the golden temple. Its a decent 4 star property. U will find many eateries around u. The buffet here is not that lavish as u usually find it in all the 4-5 star properties, service very slow. The servers were not able to handle the breakfast rush. So we had to wait for 15-20 minutes for a masala omlette or a plain dosa. So better opt for food in the nearby outlets.The housekeeping is also very slow. I had to call up at the front desk for 3-4 times at 8.30 am in the morning for the newspaper. May be the front desk never communicated to the housekeeping. Also there was a lot of confusion in the front desk bcoz when we checked in we had requested for a late check out and we were told to chk out last by 1.30 pm but then they refused to do so and repeatedly told us to chk out by 12.30. Also we had requested for two key cards but only one was provided the other remained a distant dream. Then when we checked in we were told extra beds are chargeable as 1000/- per bed per night whereas it was already charged while booking on the website. So alot of confusions existed. Overall the stay sounded okay. so better check when u book in next time at this property with least expectations.
