I had a wonderful experience at this hospital. The doctors and nursing staff at emergency services are so cooperative. Having very limited resources at their disposal, they try their best to treat patients in emergency situations.I would request the government to allocate more funds and resources to these wonderful public sector institutions as more than 80% of the population go to these institutions for treatment.I have learned one thing that day of emergency. Please dont go to private hospitals as they cant provide you services in such situations. Instead take the patient to the nearest government hospital.

It was the Best Hospital Under Minister Railway Saad Raffique but Now Under Minister Shiekh Rasheed Patients are Neglected and Laboratory is Shifted to a Private Place.

Worst hospital ever. They have the worst staff with rude behavior and no sense how to talk to people just beacause they have government jobs. Services are very bad they only treat those who come with some reference or who are paying heavy fees for the services.Their lab is worst of all they gave my mother a test report stating that she has HVC positive beacause of that she went through so much trauma later we did the test in a private lab and it was negative.They gave the operation date for hernia and later they said that she has to stay in the hospital for 10 days because they are not performing any operation because the doctors kids are having some exams at their school.. i mean what kind of staff u ppl have. Very disappointed

Railway general hospital is poised at main Dhoke Hassu and Westrige junction. Its a welfare hospital for railway employees who get free treatment but it also serves any other walk in patients.It has one of the best pool of doctors, medical specialists, child specialist, ENT, sye specialist and dermatologist / skim specialist.Best part is that the specialist doctor fee is only 200 PKR for non railway patients.My rating is 09/10

The care in this hospital is of high quality, the caregivers and doctors are very professional and attentive, and are responsive. My father was cared for a few years ago during a heart attack, and he was very well cared for - maybe a little too well cared for because we only agreed to let him go when we were sure that he had recovered from his illness. But hey, its better care than not enough ... In addition, the hospital is brand new, very well maintained and well appointed.Very warm welcome, very friendly staff despite their workload. Pleasant atmosphere and modern premises. Patients are respected and well treatedVery satisfied

One of the best hospital

Railway hospital was primarily established for the employees of Pakistan Railway. Which provides the medical services to the employees of PR and their families. Few years back it was affiliated with Ripha university and then awarded the status of a teaching hospital for the student of Ripha medical college.

After becoming a teaching hospital it has improved a lot.

Basically established for Railway Employees but now managed by RIPAH and provide emergency, OPD and IPD services to General Public.
