They are trying for effective customer services. However it will take time. I suggest to visit directly officer incharge for your service, your time will definitely be saved.
Update:this month i did not receive my bill so went regional office,on my surprise they informed me that my new account was not linked with previous one, though they did it but still i m not sure what they will come up in future, my advice, if u want to change bill on your name make sure u r in pakistan for atleast 4 to 6 months if you work out side the city or countryOriginal : Very pathatic service, house gas bill was on previous owner name so thought to change it on my name to correct the record, i was thinking that i would hv to submit only an application but to my surprise first they took two affidavits,attested copies of house registry with original as they said we dont trust on attestation (then what is the need of attested copies) documentation cost me 1000 rupees then i paid 4500 rupees in bank,and given 1000 rupees to guy who helped me during the process so overall changing name cost me6500 rupees, they charged me this money for IT guy who only erased last owner name and typed mine, i paid this money for correcting thier record, other wise i was getting full supply of gas without any problem ,so now i know why people dont change last owner name, because of old pathetic system of SNGPL, they are still living in stone age
Its a govt office where headless chickens work. Nobody will give you clear directions, you will have to run from one person to another on who is responsible for what and who will sign what document etc.
No parking and very crowded. Better than the old offices of SNGPL

Wrust experience with them.. All of staf are corrupt.. Even dont know how to talk.. I registered my gas connection in December on urgently payment 25000 then give 6000.. Still my connection is on pending.. Today date is 14. 4. 2020

Its just like any other government offices with little exception where young executives are involved who are more cooperative n try to help cutomers n address their queries. Normally very rushy at early hours. Be careful of various agents claiming to resolve different issue at lightning speed. Parking is also very limited.

If you want to connect new connection only in Rawalpindi then you go there. You must have cnic, house registery and Bills of owner of your house.
THE OFFI E IS VERY WIDE WITH DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS. HOWEVER CONSUMERS ARE VISITING ON DAILY BASIS FOR NEW CONNECTIONS. MOST OF THE STAFF TRY TO SIDE LINES THE CUSTOMERS.
A typical government office and u have to go round n round to get ur work done. The system is quite poor, staff is quite lethargic to work most of the times. The work gets done after delays of weeks and months. The Sales Officer Mr. Nadeem is a good guy as well as Mr.Aklaq at counter 1 and receptionist Junaid. But u still have to b very patient and lucky to get your work Done! Dire need of improvement in all the sections of this Regional SNGPL Office!

This is the new sngpl office building that is shifted here from the building beside Suzuki showroom in Swan camp area. The environment is good and the staff is helping. Though most of the time you have to bear the delays..
Pathetic services... Over billing
Had been to this place a number of times. Being a Govt office typical disappointing environment.Seems as this office is being run by 3 P staff with no management cover. 70% counters having no customers and 30% with long Ques. Nobody there to see and distribute the workload.Consumers are ultimate sufferers.
Good and clean environment they are not providing new connection or new metter service until July 2019 order by the government.
Improvement required as public are treated like slaves.There should be a bank counter to pay there.Some staff like Shah Sb in reconnection department are good but system is so stupid and will take long time. ( one window operation required)The department should have PRE PAY METERS.

Tough time for getting gas connection
Its since 5 months they didnot give me demand notice... Although the procedure has been gone through servey... The only mistake i did is not given the Bribery (Rishwat) to the surveyor...And i will not give them till the end... Soon i will report to Head Office and then to the MOHTASIB (OMBUDSMAN)... And InshaAllah will go further against them.. One of the Most Corrupt Department of Pakistan.... It should be Privatised!

The office is spacious and design is ok. It remains over crowded. They really need to put in place a token system for queue serving as the queues move very slow due to out - of- queue servicing. There is no information displayed. The reception guides you to the wrong counter number where you get to know at the end that youre in the wrong queue. Massive management improvement required. I think the place its in rented place so management doesnt want to invest in it. There are customer relations officers there who are very helpful and can be contacted if theres a problem.
