Its fine, has some problems of course but overall is fine. In simple words, I would say its just another place to get degree. Details:1. Extra fees without proper reasons.2. Needs uniform compulsory.3. Forced attendance of many stuff.4. Fines out of nowhere.5. A bit many rules to follow.Not sure if its better than others but its good and ok.

National University of Sciences and Technology commonly referred to as NUST, is a public research university with main campus in Islamabad, Pakistan and other subsidiary campuses in different cities of Pakistan. The EME college is situated on the GT road just past golra more towards peshawar. The premises and buildings of this college were confiscated by the Military rigime of Gen Zia in 1984, it used to be a Govt college of technology, by then it was the largest polytechnic institute of the country which constituted 12 technologies. It was a demise for the residents of this region that the GCT was permanently shut down with a presidential order. Now this college has been degree awarding institution under NUST and military administration.

Better study at a UET, GIKI or Bahria university than NUST... There is too much emphasis on GPA in Nust (all campuses) than on character building and leadership. Not worth going to this campus.

I have had great time at EME. Coming for Masters after graduating from UET Lhr I thought I would have tough time here given it is much less populated than UET but it has its own flavor, a calm environment with a touch of Army kind of life (the institute is run by Pakistan Army). The study program is strict with everything on time, teachers are mostly nice and knowledgable but there are also some exceptions. The facilities are good; mess is quite good, the cafeteria is fine but the Fresh shops and KIOSK offer quite a variety of foods where each of them in competition tries to come up with a new item. An array of sports facilities are available such as Sports Complex with gymnasium and table tennis/basketball/volleyball/badminton court, cricket, football grounds, swimming pool and golf course but my favorite which is quite unique in education institutes is the Horse Riding Club which provided me the chance to fulfill my desire of Horseback Riding in which I became quite an expert at the end.

This college (actually university) is best among all universities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi when we talk about discipline, research, total PhD professors, facilities for students, girls and boys hostel, cafetaria with good staff, all time open snack shops plus photocopier, printing facilities, open wifi for students in multiple departments and in the last best teachers!

It is the best institute of Pakistan.
