Former VRI, veterinary research institute once was part of veterinary department of Balochistan, now it is a center of excellence of Balochistan University. It mainly develops vaccines against veterinary and poltory diseases. Beside this it also offers postgraduate degree in Biotechnology.The research and teaching staff is very cooperative and capable. They all are dedicated workers except some black sheep. It is one of the finest research institutes of Balochistan

I was there for two or three times, it looks like a free sports zone, it doesnt seem an institution to me.
