Not even a PSL match let alone international match. There hasnt been no tournments no series no matches nothing. Arbab niaz ceicket stadium is one of the biggest sporting facilities in Peshawar city. It is located in the famous Shahi Baugh park and can be accessed from Hashtnagri, Charsadda road and Jamrud road will equal ease. It is currently used only for domestic matches, however it has a rich history and is priviledged to have hosted some records on the cricketing ground. One particular record is the recorded highest personal by Mark Taylor in which he declared his innings after hitting a triple century to honor the Bradmans record. Taylor had the opportunity to easily break the record but he did not. The rise of srilankan cricket in 1996 was preceded by a historical test series win in Pakistan. One of the test played in Peshawar was a close one and an interesting one.Presently the atadium is not in a very good shape as the back side is having shops of carpenters and fast food setups. But the presence of a tennis court, cricket academy and gymkhana.

Cricket Net Practice was too busy. Many young guys play Nets. Facilities are old, Maintenance required. Areas around the stadium busy, dusty with a lot of hustle and bustle around. The stadium is good for National games and locals around.

Its a good place for cricket lovers and there is also a big market where u can get something to eat and u can find alot of acceceries and clothes and footwear...

The stadium needs to be rebuild according to the modern standards plus the ground is not really maintained as an international stadium should be.
