Bahauddin Zakariya University is a general university, providing education in Arts and Science. Since agriculture is the mainstay of this region - the place and its environs produce the country’s best silver crop (cotton) and fruit crops like mangoes, citrus, and dates - it was considered expedient to train manpower for solving agriculture problems. Accordingly, a College of Agriculture was established in 1989. The College of Agriculture and its complement, an Engineering College, form an integral part of the University Plan. The College of Engineering & Technology was established in 1994. Department of Commerce was started in November 1996. BBA classes were started in the Department of Business Administration in October 1996. Bachelor of Computer Science was introduced in the Department of Computer Science in November 1996, though Masters in Computer Science (MCS) was already running since 1989. B.Sc. Electrical Engineering class was started in November 1997. Information Technology Centre was established in July 1999. BS and MSc. Telecommunication System was started in January 2004. B.Sc. Mechanical, Computer, Textile, Agricultural and Architectural Engineering classes were started in fall 2004.

Vast, spacious and green.Many departments including engineering, medicine, linguistics, busniess etc make it a good university.A lot of stationary shops and canteens but mostly only snacks available.The standard and variety of food available could be improved.Overall good experience.

Overall the university is great ,it has so many BS ,Postgraduate, and BE departments, this university is over vast area, location is good but there are much room for management authorities ,speacially Registration department they do not care for student convenience at all. Other than that it is a good institution.

Loved it. It has a huge library, beautiful large Auditorium for ceremonies and functions, Pharmacy department is just beautiful . Same goes for Saraiki (antique ) department . Meals cafe is best place to sit and eat. Food is good at Meals. Food is also great at Maryam hall kentine. Male can also buy parcel food there. Arts department is just Amazing one. Central library provides beautiful scenery . Park beside auditorium is beauty . Its cool place over all.

This university should be named as university of politics.Each and every one working in this institute is a refined politician.Highly not recommended to study in this varsity.

IMS is the dept with all the facilities library, computer lab, syndicate room, cafe and PHD scholars from abroad. Other departments like engineering, economics, physics are also upon the criteria aswell.

This is boys hostal at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Muktan. It is a Lovely place. Hamza hall has all basic facilities for resistance. Live TV, dinning, laundry, news papers are few examples. It also has hall for indoor games. Two large grounds are also available for ball games outdoors.
