One of the best hospitals but so much crowded

Its one of the oldest hospital in town. it is having its own medical college. it is recently upgraded to many other sections and units like dental centre, burn unit etc. its a government hospital and one of the busiest ones. its area is very comprehensive and divided into college and hospital sections. they also have residential colony for the hospital employees. its a good hospital and college.

I am visited emergency there is good start and quick response rescue thanks

Nister hospital and medical college multan is a old asia health center,there are many health facility available, in emergency free medicine and well educated doctors and paramedic staff, i have visited many time and find all things to the point.

Nice hospital,but I wants three teeth can help me about dental department staff.

Great Hospital for Poor Patients in SOUTH PUNJAB

One of the leading and huge hospital of Punjab.It has all the major facilities of a Hospital.The good things about are:1. Cleanliness is much better then previous years.2. There is no Fee for OPD3. Diagnostics test are performed at discounted/cheap rates.4. The doctors availability is even better.The worst things are:1.The Parking in terms of Management(Excess Fee Charging from Patients).2. People using personal influence to get out of queue and hence creating frustration for other patients.3. Poor Complain Cell, its very hectic procedure to file a complain.4. The Behaviour of the Staff Nurses, Junior Nurse, Bulawies and other administrative staff specially with the Childrens is very very poor.(Shame on them)Note:The Parking Contractor is the worst contractor I have ever seen.1. They demand 20Rs for Motorcycle for parking the actual fee is 10Rs.Car Parking fee is 20Rs.2. The fee written on the receipt is so small that it can not be read easily plus they use maker to temper it ( image attached) and asks the customers that rates are revised3.The board on which rates are written is hidden from the public so that they remain unaware of the parking rates.So, the dear management need to take some bold steps so we could get rid of these problems.Thanks.

It is only tertiary level hospital in multan.. It is working at its best capacity.. Doctors working here are very hardworking. Paramedics are also very efficient. It was built in 1950s. Now it needs to be expanded or its load might be shared by some other good hoapital in the area.

A patient who’s supposed to be in ICU, is not even being given a bit of attention. Careless doctors who come to visit once because they are running their personal clinics. No cleanliness as well, i witnessed blood spots in some wards.

Nishtar Hospital is a teaching hospital of Nishtar Medical College, located in Multan, Pakistan. It is a tertiary care hospital, serving a large population of South Punjab, adjoining areas of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

One of the largest hospitals in the country with currently 1800 beds capacity, having 24 departments, 31 wards, 15 operation theatres. It has its own Burn Unit, dental section and A & E department. It drains largest area of Punjab and even Baluchistan and Sindh. Almost all departments are connected with one another through bridges, underground passages and stairs. Once you get acquainted its convenient for you to move around. Services may not be up to the mark but these are improving and needs further efforts by governing body.

The construction of the Nishtar Hospital block started in 1953. The basic idea and its plan was provided by Dr. M. J. Bhutta. He had already collected many ideas during his tour of U.K. by visiting many hospitals there. Mr. Inamullah, Mr. Jamaal-ud-Din and Mr. Murat Khan also participated in the construction. On the 1st of October, 1953, Nishtar Hospital started functioning with 80 beds. In 1954, Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, Tuberculosis, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Anaesthesia and Radiology departments also started functioning. With the construction of the hospital building, many other buildings including the boy hostels, administration block, kitchen block. Now,Nishtar Hospital Building is three story building.The Nishtar Hospital holds a total capacity of 1103 beds, however extra beds have been added in each department due to a high public demand, and the hospital now has more than 1800 beds.

Very good hospital for adults and children s

Despite being the biggest hospital in the region, facilities are fatally lacking. Sometimes, patients and their family are bound to think that dying at home is a better experience than getting treated here. Still, there are a few staff members usually who prove themselves real Messiahs.Despite being a hospital, its normally so unclean and dirty that a healthy person could get sick just by visiting here.

U know why I rated 5 cause its one nd only hospital in South Punjab which provide medical facility(what soever it is,cant day its ideal nd state of art but also image the burden of patients) to ppl from rajanpur/DG khan/mianwali/D.I. khan/barkhan/lorali/layyah/bhakkhar/ahmadpur sial/shorkot/pirmahal/mianchunnu/vehari/jahania/duniapur/jalalpur/alipur/muzafferghar.ddnt mentioned Bahawalpur because of BV Hospital.Shame for our rulers whether in govt. or in opposition. BV Hospital was made by nawab of Bahawalpur nd queen Victoria whereas nishter by sadar Abdulrab nishter but not by govt. with collaboration of ppl of the then Multan division.land was provided by father of ex. primeminister yousaf Raza gilanis father.also thanks for ch.pervaiz ellahi for cardiology institute which lowered the load on nishter hospital.

One of the worst hospitals ive ever been to. No hygine nor cleanliness. Doctors treat patients like dying animals. No humanity whatsoever. Pls go to another hospital if you care about yourself or the patient

I am a Nishtarian in the real sense. I was born at Nishtar, i did my M.B.B.S and house job in Nishtar. Currently i am doing my residency in it. I love it and this place means a lot to me.

Good Hospital with very cooperative staff

My mother in law was in nishters icu few days back. She was on ventilator . Now she is no more with us. May Allah rest her soul in peace. Ameen . Nishtarians do their best especially dr. Attir & dr.nighat . The only issue in nishter s icu was cleanliness . That must be improved by the management . Nishter is best for the emergency cases . Me & my family especially my husband were very greatful to all the doctors they fight against my mother in laws illness for almost 12 days. Hats of to all the doctors.
