Not a pointless and needless Asset but this is the only place in whole Punjab or you can say whole pakistan that teaches Flying to Bloody Civilians otherwise wise this profession is only restricted to Military personnels. The Airport is still there from decades , but the people and population surrounded it. That could be prevented by taking precautions and not allowing Anyone build huge structures near it but who can stop the Mighty Askari or Fouji people. Anyhow this airport is under consideration of relocation , govt is trying to find a new place for this precious asset or have been forced to relocate after all there is plenty of space left to build more of Askari Things.

This is a small, nearly pointless airport quite in the middle of the city. Yet, only an obscure road that you can hardly find goes to it. Even once there, access is severely restricted. So, whats going on inside? Well, this is where private jet owners keep their planes and fly out from - You know, the less rich who cannot afford a private hangar at Allama Iqbal International. Next, this is home to a couple of flying clubs and air services. They can teach you flying. Or, for a hefty sum, they take you on air tours over Lahore. The biggest tour - The most expensive - takes you in a Cessna over to Shahdara and then back. Great experience!

Airport walton is great but access is limited for authorized personnel only. The experience was amazing with small flight over Lahore with Cessna172N, I also dud simulator flying which was great experience. The people who invited us were great. The walk through experience on the hangars and runway atea was great

Nice & well service place

Ive been there for a flight and the whole place is very secluded and set apart from the noise outside. The various aircraft hangars were the most interesting aspect because they are quiet and somewhat mysterious.

Good place for entertainment..

Lahores one an only flying academy / airport run by contribution of several flying clubs. Provide basic flying trainings, Per hour rate is really expensive which should not be. Require real time amendments and up gradation only few planes available very old models only 2 new planes.
