Worst railway station in the world. Full of garbage, corrupt officials, pick pockets everywhere and not safe for women.

I went to this train station after some 23 years today and found the main entrance locked. A sign read: the platform is locked out of train hours due to security reasons and no one should argue with the management. I walked around and found a policeman who was kind enough to open it up for me. Once inside, I found out that the station entrance from the Lahore Cantonment side - which is a posh and civilised area per se - is locked out, however, the access to the station from the back side is all open where there is a slum and which is more prone to security risk due to it being a congested settlement.The platform of the station was quite clean with new waiting chairs but the tracks were littered with garbage. I could only relate to my childhood days when this same platform was so lively and full of activity.

No Express Train has stop here. If Pakistan Railway Start Rail Cars for Rawalpindi from here it will be very helpful for citizens living in this area of City. As they extended the route in Islamabad till Margalla Railway Station, Islamabad. Similarly up Trains Going to up side and down trains should also have stop here. It will help a lot in solving traffic problems in the city.

Good place..nice service...beautiful waiting area...good guide....look like very good...we first time travel in train...was affraid how will be service..but we enjoy it...no problem in tickting...on time rail come and leave station on time...every thing going on time by time..no rush or missuse of any thing..we inter in train and feel good...nice train inner view...just only one thing bad...water problem in toilets...other than all is ok...we wish u happy travel in train...thanks for reading...

Railway setup in Lahore is rather vast. I came to know that there are more than one functional railway stations here, & most of them reasonably well maintained.

Nice railway station usually cater the passengers of the Cantonment area.

Too hot here. Not enough fans for air circulation. Passengers dont have enough places to sit and wait for train to arrive.

The Lahore Cantt Station is historic. Built by the British during their rule of the sub-continent, the station is Pakistans second largest after Karachi Cantt Station. Over two dozen trains are operated from here with train service offered to all major and minor cities of the country. Local vendors and some international food chains operate here in case youre hungry!

Station covered from top which makes it quite suffocated given lahore weather. It is conjusted but still clean. There is pizza hut on the station avaialable

Probably the best to visit during winter foggy nights. Provides a splendid view and a very poetic environment where your thoughts melt into surrealistic ideas. Best part is the Chai wala by the platform which offer a real cup to accompany the loneliness that make you feel the romance of this historic place (though not very historic). SImply love the place during winters it has a very soothing effects once you spend an evening during winters.
