The Chinese-backed train, launched mid-pandemic on October 25 this year, boasts a bright color scheme, reflecting Lahore’s vibrant culture, in shining shades of grey, red and orange. The train – smart and sleek – features glossy white interior walls and grey-with-striking-red, bench-style seating arranged in opposing rows in all five air-conditioned carriages. Hailed as a first for comfortable travel in a city of rough roads, it accelerates smoothly with an operating speed of up to 80km/h (50mph).

Very great experience. Staff was cooperative apart from one particular staff, a lady who said video not allowed but another staff reassured that we can film inside. The journey from first station Dera Gujran to Ali Town was the same experience I used to miss having in Baku when I used traverse using Baku Metro. No bigger issue or incident occurred but a clear communication is needed between staff, customer and management to better facilitate the passenger.

Please dear people and management keep it clean. It is our asset, dont make/ keep it dirty. Lot of staff is allocated to manage passengers. Try to educate people and each of your station will have 20 people, at minimum, vacant, can be used for more good.

Very good experience to travel orange line train. But other than train lot of improvements are required in every part of project.1- There should be separate compartments for ladies and gents. As we have in Metro Busses.2- There is no seating arrangements in Waiting area. There should be a single card for Orange Line, Metro Bus and Speedo Buses.

Ali town station is a starting point for lahore metro train .Ali town station is situated on Raiwind road just before a stop when road mingles with Thokar niaz baig crossing. The station itself most of the time remains clean but public bath was unimaginably dirty.Electric elevators are available on most stations including this one.The train arrives on a platform which is on the top floor.my experience in two months of continuous traveling was amazingly smooth.Metro as a train is swift , comfortable, reliable, punctual and regular as of no train .There are twenty doors for train entrance and train only stops for 10 to 15 seconds.continuous announcement is done inside the train about stations arriving.the information about whole route is displayed over each entrance door and a blinking light displays trains location.another screen over each seat also display train station and other information about train usage.a portion of long seat is dedicated for old persons and women with children. This train is the swift most way to travel between inner lahore and peripheral.I guess lahore would be needing more of these metros very soon because congestion on all roads is already dangerously high.
