I went at 10:00pm and got my token done in 4 mins. Service was fast. Token Tax service opens at 9:00AM till 2:00PM. After 2pm they will not accept any payment.

Very long queues, very poorly managed, only one counter for token tax, only 3 offices in a city with million+ vehicles, they literally go out of your way to make sure you get the worst experience. In Lahores heat, there was no A.C not even fans for tax payers. The staff talks to you very disrespectfully. No one was on the reception desk.Make sure you have at least 2 hours of time available before you go there. I dont understand why the department and ministry want to make tax payers suffer, the answer is simple corruption and negligence. In a country where hardly anyone pay taxes, tax payers should be at-least respected. The token tax for cars should be online and money should be submitted in any bank like any utility company.Literally every wall has no agent entry allowed written but every other person is a agent, this is a type of corruption.EDIT: My original message was over a year ago. Now App and other facilities are available and I paid my tax on the App. Thankyou Excise Department.

I visited office for transfer of ownership of bike, reached at the office around 10 a.m. got the information and got things photocopied from basement of DHA main market Z block. staff is cooperative and try to do things as quickly as possible. they managed the queue perfectly. you can get the file covers from the agents in the parking for RS 20 as well because they do not accepts documents without file covers :P, got transfer deed from the office for Rs 300 and after that when submitting the file i was charged with fee Rs 700 so i was done in an hour and cost was 1000, plz avoid agents if you do not want to be overcharged. infact agent requires 200 extra for the pain but i think if you submit the documents on your own that is much worth it unless you are handicapped or something.

This is Government Office so as usual no one is ready to share exact information about anything. You will meet too many touts outside the office, first u will be given wrong info and at the end will pay double to the tout and make your head out of hectic.

Visit at 9am to get your work done in the least possible time. For new vehicle registrations, files can be obtained from agents in the motorbike parking outside the plaza. Staff struggles to handle the rush. Yet this office works a little better than other such offices.

It takes a lot of work late.
