Taste is good. Quality is good as well. Only Baisan wali fish available with Baisan wale eggs, Baisan wale Baingan, Baisan wali Mirch. Ambiance is not good.Overall good experience.

Office Dinner at #Aslam Darul Mahi 14 January 2021

I dont know why and what happened to this place, i had been there twice in week in Nov-20 with different group of friends,I could not found that particular taste of decades, fish was like from an ordainary fish point , second time i feel worse and fish was not freash, it was a bad experience twice in week, so i will avoid this place in future its time to move to qazzafi stadium point

High price, bad seating arrangement, dirty environment, waiters are illiterate with dirty dress and nails. Cleaning conditions are unsatisfactory. The owner is too much arrogant and people feel too much hesitation while talking to him

This year I have eaten there two times. But it seams like they have dropped there Quality. Too oily less salty and less spicy. Fish meat seems not good as it should be. The price is getting higher and quality is getting lower. I think they should take care of these issues before they lost there Brand Equity.

If you are a fish lover rush to Aslam Darul Mahi and have a good meal there. Absolutely good taste but you have to wait a lot for your turn as a long que is always there for both dine,in as well as take away.

I heard about this place and visited first time yesterday but I was shocked to see the mess in the washroom and the stinky smell was prevalent in the entire sitting area. I had to leave the place in a hurry. Extremely unhygienic conditions and the owner gives a damn about this. I dont understand how this restaurant became famous. Health is first priority so stay away from this eatery!

3 years ago taste and quality was so good but now these days total waste of money. I tried 3 time this season but always disappointed smelly fish, red inside fish and huge topping on fish. All are accepted but fish is not fresh now. So avoid to go there. Go anywhere else but on Aslam.

There was time that this was considered as only authenticated and praised fish restaurant in Lahore, it was called BASHIR Darul mahi at that time before new name was adapted 2 to 3 years back, afterwards people separated and the taste too. Now, where we had to wait one to two hours in line, we see that Mr. Aslam waits for the customers to serve. That’s quite pity but still the taste is good and we enjoy going there and picking up some fried fish for the family. Some people still adhere to the same shop and the other believe that their nearby branches have quite similar taste hence they opt to go there.

Fried fish is superb.. established in 1935.. secret recipe....prepared only for 04 months in a year during winter.
