Department of chemistry uet Lahore have old building of 1921 but studies are good there. Now bs( hons), MPhil and P. HD degrees are being studied there, Morning and weekend classes only. Fee structure increases this year. Labs are functional. But some advanced level instruments are not available. Teachers are very cooperative and highly qualified. Majority faculty members are women. Head of department is also a woman. Research work of students are very good. As students are very hard working. Annexi block is also there. The famous UET-PUNGA-SHAKE is available just behind the Chemistry department. In Chemistry department, there are also the workshops of mechanical engineering department. Library is present at first floor but always remain locked because students dont go there for studying books rather sit in the computer lab for internet searching. Department is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. I think it is a best place to study chemistry and research work. A secret wall also present there.
