Its a pioneer Institute of Education and Research established by Indiana University USA. Prior to separation of Bangla Desh perhaps in 1960. Almost 15 deparments are under the Institute. Programs like B.ed , Med, B.S., Business Edu., Technology Education, Sciebce Education, Measurement evsluation and Research, Early Childhood, Mphil and Ph.d etc are running. One Laboratory School is also running under it. Americans left during 1965 war with India. Dr Jung was perhaps Ist Director. Recently Extension has been made and it was too with Aid perhaps.

The staff was good on guidance but slighltly late on timing, Guidance & Help is really appreciable but presence of staff is slightly late :)
