Besides Barkat Market has large plazas where different commercial services are being offered by several private & government organizations.

This sight is compounded by fruit stalls right outside these ‘eateries’, further layered by makeshift seating and, the cherry on top; randomly parked cars / motorcycles (the latter being more organized on their stations).

Nice food market, Every type of food is available, nice surroundings and food prices are bit high but it is worth for quality food.

Good place for fast food and ladies jewelry shops, duapatta color, medical stores, bakeries and fresh juice milkshake corners, also outdoor good point at the back side and Quetta restaurant for best dessi food.

Market is less crowded so you almost always find free parking. Medicine, doctors and photocopy shops are in abundance. You can also find number of food places here. On its backside there are some small car workshops and ladies tailoring shops.

Barak Market is a good place for outdoor dinner and lunch!One of the best lunch center is Karachi baryani. I really appreciate their atmosphere. And there are also few other good restaurants. And also Gloria coffee shop is near this market. Overall an average place.

So, we eventually settled on Whole Foods Market.In the summer, I love to go up north to a cottage and relax by the lake, swim, go canoeing...
