Still a delightful place taste is good and the atmosphere of restaurant the friendly air of here time flys like you never know how much time you spend here still enjoyable keen to visit again

Ambiance is pretty nice but food was not all fresh. Lamb Khadda was ok but restaurant’s own suggested Dum pukht was not fresh. It was served within 8-9 min of ordering and was clearly not freshly made rather re heated.Too expensive in terms of value for money

Great ambience and sitting around the tandoori bar with live tandoori tea and entertainment. Ideal place for chilling with friends with family in the Winters. Food is good also.

That was an awesome experience. A good place to enjoy food and the environment. Food was really good like qawa was good. Kabuli rice and khada mutton was delicious. A good place to enjoy and spend time for every gender especially youngsters. Lahori girls and boys were having fun.

There are two restaurants one is Karak khail for high tea and the second one is ‘Spice of east’ which serves continental foods..Spice of east is absolutely not worth visiting place, ambience is good but food quality is pathetic specially never order Mutton things, they serve fowl smelling Karahi....Karak Khail is good place and they serve good sneaks..

It is nice open space to enjoy your gathering. You can enjoy food in dasi western mesh style. They have different kind of food including Desi burgers, pratha pizzas, tandoori chai. Their Desi open sitting looks innovative and back ground music add a nice touch.

I love this place not hate

I found myself incredibly impressed by the ambiance that Spice of East had to offer. Within a few minutes, I knew it would become my new favorite winter spot. It had the most striking outdoor décor with a juxtaposed mixture of tribal accents and the quirkiness of a roadside dhaba. The walls had been painted a bright yellow and decorated with riveting frames depicting truck art and horse shows from across the country.The most fascinating arrangement was perhaps their bonfire, which also serves as a tea stall for their tandoori chai and various other specialties. The wooden bowls that are used to serve the tea are first heated on coals, while the kettle is also bubbling nearby. While I’m not big on tea, the experience was so fascinating that I couldn’t help but try a cup. It had a sublime aroma and I could taste the tandoori flavor synonymous with the coals. The sugary richness of pure gurr (jaggery) took it to another level. If you’re a tea lover you’ll love this experience. Karakhel offers a variety of green teas, and I really enjoyed sipping their suleimani and peshawari kehwa.

Sitting is good. Nice open area. Entrance stairs are difficult for elderly people. Food is average. Ordered cheese naan and mutton chops. Taste was okay.

I came to know about the place as its famous for Dumba Sajji/ Dum Phukht.. got reservation on phone and visited with friends. It was jam packed due to Saturday night. We got our table before time and ordered Dumba karahi and lamb sajji. They took 40 minutes in serving. But it was worth the wait. One of the best Dumba karahi Ive ever had and the lamb sajji was awesome too. Top notch ambience. Highly recommended place. Bill was around 5800 RS.

We tried this masterpiece very first time and loved it. Super delicious and tender at the same time and 4 people shared this under 6000 rupees.Totally recommend to everyone.

I was at the place at 6 pm but the best time to visit is late night. I had tea there which was good. Sitting area is totally desi having wooden chairs of several types. The out look is amazing. Services are fabulous... People must try the place

Tried khadda here for the very first time. It was delicious!! The whole experience was amazing. I got to see how and where they prepare it. The rice that comes with khadda tastes really nice too. I loved the rice more than the khadda. It was full of dry fruits and had dates in it too. Loved the ambience and environment. A must try.Will definitely visit this place too.

Ok first of all the food was very price i would say its taste is ok but not something different that you should pay 1450 for khadda gosht which is barely for 1 person serving I mean value for moneyThe serving was very small there half Kg karhi was only for 1.3 person.By the way both times food was not hot and this is the base of desi food .I must say the ambiance is amazing on mostly towards karak Khail chayee area where people are enjoying tea and gupshapThe waiters are kind of from lost world and manager is able to handle the order however he was not even well trainedThe worst is they are charging gst but dont have facility to accept cards which clearly shows they are honest.

Ambience of this Restaurant is very good but the taste of food was not so much good. I ordered green handi and malai boti. Malai boti was not juicy as it should be;it was a bit dry. Green Handi was taste wise better than Malai boti but it was cooked in excessive oil. Hygiene is a problem in this restaurant, the glasses which they served us for water were smelly, one of my family member asked them to replace them with new clean glasses. And the waiter did replace them, but again the same smell came from those glasses.

Order single serving kehwa here. It was served in a chainak for about 2.5 cups. Shakkar, white sugar and lemon were its side compliments.

Great outdoor place for a fun filled outing with friends. They have recently installed mist showers which makes it a great place for outdoor seating in dry and hot April to June period. Food is average. Bun Plaster is best thing here. Tea is ok.

Just had tea there which was amazing and so refreshing. Looking forward to dine in there now. Loved the open air and space and Punjabi desi touch to the space and yes loud music on the move n groove. Just leaving a star behind for food I guess which if i like in future Ill give it all 5. Kudos!

Food is really good and tasty. Environment is great as well. Only thing that disturbs is those qawaals singing qawaalis in super high volume.

And Sometimes They will Serve You Someones elses Order. THEY SERIOUSLY NEED TO WORK ON IT.. My Last 3 visits were Really worst.. It Opens Till late night.Good place to hangout with Friends. If youre looking for a nice place to sit for some tea or lemonade and nothing else this is the place to go . The lights and sitting is great especially in cold weather. But the service is exceptionally slow and the food items expensive . The lemonade was good .

Beautiful weather and excellent food make this outdoor venue a treat for the cooler months in lahore. try the kaali mirch karahi, and then head over to the next door cafe karak khel for some chai (or better, ice cold lassi)

It was awesome. Amazingly delicious food. Khadda mutton was out of this world. Beef kababs were one of the best in town. Rest of the dishes that we tried was delicious as well. Indoor sitting is very limited but it has got spacious outdoor area. Wonderful experience. A must, in my opinion. I would have given it 4.5 stars, but that option is not there.

Gave us some fond memories of New Year Night. The place was jam-packed and the fireworks were amazing. Kudos to you guys!

Food is very good. Spicy food. Chicken and mutton karhai both are good. Sheesh tauk is very spicy and good in taste. Sitting environment is very good. Open air grassy lawn is around the area. Prices are very reasonable.

Loved the experience. Not so spicy food - according to my friends. Not a very big fan of ultra spicy food, hence my satisfaction level was much better than theirs.

Havent had there tea yet, for food its much overly priced. Taste is nothing special.

They did not mention that paye in their menu were cows paye rather than being bakray kay paye. They made a mistake in the bill too. The bill was higher. When asked about it, the waiter couldnt make sense of it. After arguing for 15 minutes, they were able to rectify the bill.

The food is better than what is expected from such a place but they seem to be playing catch up with the hype they have built judging by the the plethora of people they have over the weekend, especially. The tandoori chai is overrated but do try it once if youre willing to pay 200 for a cup. Other than that they have outdoor space with lots of coal heaters to keep you warm and cozy!

Great ambiance but truly the worst service in lahore. Order will take about 90mins to 120mins while nobody responds well when asked about the order. Need to improve service immediately. Secondly if a restaurant is taking 2hours for a simple cup if tea it should be hot, this is also not the case. So ill advice that they improve their service for long term success.
