Its always a very good experience at cukoos. The restaurant in it self is a masterpiece for all those who have certain interest in the architecture and ambience. The view and ambience was superb . The food tasted very good but a little overpriced . The staff were very curtious and cooperative .Overall a very pleasant experience

More than just food Coocos den is a complete food and cultural experience. Located in the interior side of the Lahore city, coocos Den is in a well preserved olden days house decorated with impeccable artworks and the view of badshahi mosque and Lahore forte. The traditional food is good to satisfy a tasteful pallet but a little high on the pricing . Recently it has been observed that the food quality has been fluctuating. But overall experience is worth a visit.

Always loved visiting this place. A must visit for anyone in Lahore. Either come for dinner at sunset or come early for breakfast. This is always going to keep you in awe.This is a five star place! 4 stars are just for food and the restaurant in particular. The foodstreet is amazing. Experience the culture and views. Also winters are amazing in Lahore.

The overall atmosphere was good but the credit there goes to the location - Foodstreet, Badshahi Mosque, etc. I didnt like their on-site musician but at least they were trying. Their chicken Karahi was good but many of their menu items were not available. Most disappointingly, this was the first restaurant I know that failed malai boti - they cooked regular chicken and drizzled mayonnaise on it... I should have gone to the other restaurants there ...

Normal taste with not so good environment

I had a very bad experience. Poor sitting arrangement, no proper fans. Food quality and taste was very bad.kabab was too salty to eat.chicken tawa taste was very bad, like if made by unprofessional cook.Rude management staff who even do not know how to deal with customers.costly menu.very disappointed with the rude female staff.I will never recommend this place.Heweli is much better then this place.

This place by far a special one with that special someone on a nice summer evening. Views are great, staff is friendly but yes food is over rated, over priced but delicious. So I wont take a star out for price but still the menu is pricey. All in all if youre around food street this place is a must visit with great collection of art work seeing.

Loved the ambience and views. Tawa Chicken was delicious. Also the chicken handi was really good. The kebabs were just okay. The place could be a bit cleaner.Really liked the decor. Must visit place when in Lahore.

Worst Experience ever. We had our company dinner there​ with foreigners 2 days back and the way they served and everything was so worst.No forks and spoons were there with dirty plates, everyone had to ask for it explicitly which they brought after dinner.Worst part is he served 1 item first and after 15 mins another item after 15 minutes another. We were so angry and ready to bash out than we left just because of our redeemed guests.Then he served drinks after dinner and the way he served ( amazing ) BRINGING bottle crate to every chair and asked for it..They dont treat you this way even in Desi Dhabaas.WORST WORST WORST.I highly recommend Haveli Restaurant ( right next to it ).

Good food and Amazing view..

A very famous spot to eat in old Lahore. Right next some of the oldest and the most grandest of attractions in lahore the Badshahi masjid and the Lahore fort.

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. They do not include 16% of taxes in their price (it is not said anywhere that taxes will be added) and they charge you the double portion although you ask for the simple one. Even worse the place is really dangerous since only 1 elevator ables the access to the restaurant (the building is made out of wood). There was a power cut when we were there and we literally waited for 2h to exit the restaurant woth 20 other people before the power came back and the staff didnt care at all. Absolutely avoid this place. Only the view is nice.

Best view from here. Its the first restaurant which started here. Keep it up.

Good view of badshahi mosque plus food little bit expensive

Location is excellent I find it better than Haveli which is adjacent to it. The old architecture of the building is main attraction. Food is good but not like as it used to be few years back. Certainly they need to work on menu and quality of food and furniture.

Best food with historic view

I visited the place after a few years gap and was thoroughly disappointed. The rapid commercialization has just about killed the charm. Both food quality and service quality has gone down. only thing that managed to go up was price.Parking is a mess. And toilets are extremely unhygenic.Only thing that remains is just the view of Badshai Mosque

Place is awesome for family and for friend party and for visit. Food was also good.

See a drastic decline as I first visited the place in 2001 or 02 and then visited recently. I am disappointed.

Price may be called or one can say on higher side: but the atmosphere; the management of the restaurant has created, is no doubt OUTCLASS. Surroundings also looks or gives gorgeous view especially at night. I must say looks to be a true romantic place.

Good traditional Pakistani food. Price is very good. You have the top floor to sit with a good view of the lahore fortress. Very colourful place, very friendly environment and plenty of choice for different taste.

Inspiring story but low food quality

Was taken here by friends and had the most amazing meal. Pakistani food at its best! The view from the roof terrace is amazing.

Beautiful PlaceHistorical place

Not worth the hype. It got a nice view but a restaurant just next to it which is haveli got better view. The service was also very slow. A cup of tea took 40 mins. I am not sure about it but heard from a local that they have license to sell alcohol as well. For those interested can visit and enquire.

Things i liked :+good taste+nice ambiance and probably the best view of badshahi mosque, food street etc.Things i disliked :- very congested.- surrounded all around by odd looking sculptors and religious art works.-very poor service and non professional staff.- food was served in the worst condition ever , it was cold and prone to be infected.- very poor choice of music by staff , no live singing.-FOOD WAS SERVED VERY VERY LATE , IN MY CASE 1 AND A HALF HOUR.- the stairs and building in not in a good condition, can cause injury.- lift is only available till 3rd floor, not suitable for sensitive people , eg elderly , pregnant ladies etc.

It just an expensive place with a story of its owner..Nothing else..Hawali is much better than coocos den

A nice and coozy place to have a beautiful dinner at the roof top witha beautifulview of badshahimasjid and shahi qilla.

Extremely OVER-RATED place!The place is very nice for the history and view of Badshahi Mosque, but the cleanliness and the taste of food is a disaster.Worst taste comparison with other food places in Lahore, and extremely expensive too.They told us that they specialize in Tawa Chicken, but compared with Arif Chatkharas Tawa Chicken its dry and teste-less.Soups were not even available in winters, Makhni Daal was not worth it. Only the Roghni Naan were good.

It was fantastic place to dine-in in this area but due to violation of rules and regulations Govt. Authorities sealed this restaurant. Their special dish was Tawa Chicken with Paratha. BBQ was good as well. This place was so expensive. They had very limited dishes to cook and majority were outsourced, some times we had very bad experience due to substandard food quality. However, this place was so attractive to the foreigners because of heritage building, painting of Red areas dancers etc.

The view from the top is remarkable. But the weather most suited for visiting this place is October onwards or else the heat will kill you. Mix grill platter is the best bet. Other than that you have to ask them for each entree what it would contain. Do not take it to be a medium priced place so dont be surprised by the value of the cheque.

We went to Havelis next door and as we were leaving we heard beautiful music and tracked the place to a hidden gem called Coocos... we went to have dessert and listen to the music... was so so so good... that we went back for dinner the next day...requested classics which they say so well. The Food was very delicious and the views breath taking. The staff were excellent and whilst trying to move something I broke a glass and wanted to pay. The staff and lady owner just waved it aside and said...forget ant it and enjoy... so I paid in kind.. came back 3 times and loved it even more... just like the 6 others that came along. Very safe and excellent...

Very bad experience! I went with my family and we faced multiple problems including bad service and high prices .And worst of all was when we were on the elevator and it stopped in the middle! and we had to wsit for half an hour before we could get out of there. Thats not how you run a restaurant. Its illegal to have low maintained elevators in a restaurant like this. Very disappointed.
