Outdated equipment (not fiberoptic internet like Optix), frequent disruption of service (ie if its windy, bad weather, stormy weather), often TV channels blacked out even though we are paying extra for HD channel package. Always given excuse that HD channel reception comes from abroad and is banned in Pakistan hence black screen. We have lost count on how many times we have called regarding HD channels not showing up. We didnt get HD picture to watch local news channels in HD.Shady pricing practices; apparently our internet service went from 10 Mbps (originally agreed upon) to 15 Mbps and we were being charged extra (~400 pkr) for this without our knowledge. Had I not inquired why our bill was unusually higher than normal, these crooks would have kept over charging us.After this month Ill be returning their cable box, modem and going with Optix. Heard good reviews about them, and it has better features than Wateens antiquated service (like consistent net speeds, more reliable TV service, & **ability to watch TV on any smartphone device as long as you have data connection**)EDIT: For others looking to replace this lousy ISP service > check out Transworld/Optix ... better value according to my research. Optix has been in DHA for a couple of years more than Transworld which is relatively new.UPDATE:Went ahead and got Optix. Will post my review after trying them out for 30 days...FINAL UPDATE: My Optix experiment was a fail. Yes, they are cheaper but their customer service takes way too long. Their TV service is superior to Wateen bc its full HD (1080p) whereas Wateen is 720p at best in most channels (ie. Discovery, Animal Planet etc). Optix was unable to fix my Chromecast issue so I had to get rid of them and will NOT be continuing next month. See my review on Optix for details.Back to Wateen >> As long as you pay the bill, you can expect their installation team to show up after 24 hours. I cleared the bill yesterday ~ 6pm and today the installation team showed up this afternoon (~12 pm) > Digital TV was functional right away...Internet after 2 hours (around ~2 pm). Yes, its inferior service (not fiberoptic), not crystal clear (1080 p) BUT their customer service is prompt and for that I will revise my original rating from one to TWO stars.
