HEC time management system is really very tricky, if youre looking to book appointment for your degree attestation, youll see all the dates are fully booked for the next couple of days. The thing is, if you want to get an appointment before the usual dates, without paying urgent fee, then you need to look numerous time on a day of there any time slot available. Their booking system is categorised as first come first serve, some candidates cancel their booking so their slots would be available to use, simply avail that.

Degree attestation service. Normal or Urgent.If you pay more you can get your docs done in an hour. But on normal way it may takes 3-4 hours.Seating capacity issue, no drinking water dispenser. Staff is good and coperative.

Really nice Air conditioner atmosphere...no hesitation about where you go next now everything mention on screen...shockingly this is not look like government landmark i must say...very nice well built building!!

Since Old system of attestation is replaced with new online system, its a big mess for citizens of Pakistan. Worst experience is being faced by almost every second applicant. Customer care line keeps a limited information. DAS technical team is inefficient & unable to solve the issues in time. Under old attestation system, attestation could be done in one day but now under new online system it takes at least one month.Under old system, new attestation & supplementary attestation was done in one day but now it takes 2-3 months. Lakh di Lanat on the management of HEC which adds misery for citizens of Pakistan through this new online system.

Updated:Part2 (for part1 read below the line)Today i visited again to attest my transcript, last time i attested my degree.I usually talk to people if they face any issue, here i am going to share it.Last time I got degree attestation but they dont ask for transcript.1. This time I attested my transcript but they also aske for degree. (What if university dont issue degree yet and you have transcript only? This is may be because I already got my degree attested thats why they ask for it)2. A guy who apply for degree and transcript attestation, but he had result card copies and dont know about transcript (this is issue with mostly affiliated colleges) so they even dont attest his degree and asked for transcript.3- Better to read the attestation rules / guidelines so that you could argue specially if you coming from other city.4-If you have any doubts better to call/email them. Email may be a bit late but call is better option. Should be 100 rupees balance in case you have to wait. They are very helpful and responsive. Keep your id card number, application number etc ready.5-This time it took me 3 hours, I got my token, wait 1 and half hour for my turn, took 1 hour to get my documents. Last time it took 1 and half hour.6-Last but not the least, you can find vending machine if you are hungry, otherwise there is no food stall, tuck shop nearby.Hope this will help you. THANKS----------------------------------------------------------------Note: You can submit your attestation fee in HEC office no need to go to Bank.I cut 1 star because they mentioned bank adress to deposit money but actually they collect money in HEC office & many people go to bank first for deposit---->Do not forget to bring your ID card photocopies your own or the person you want to get attested.----->Bring extra photocopies of your transcriots/degrees etc. Because it could be difficult to find photocopy shop nearby.Proces is quite easy and smooth as you go by your turn. Airconditioned atmosphere, water and vending machine available if you want to eat something. Surprised? I was tooGood too see they are making money from public but also spend a little bit on public.You can also find ATM machine there. Its HBL & depend on your luck if its work or not.1-Reach at least 30 minutes befor so that you can take your token. But machine usually give you token 15 minutes before your appointment time.2-Your number will be called on screen for counter 1 or 2.3-After that you deposit fee on counter number 3. In my case the did not call number and manually accept the voucher and payment.4- counter 4 will take your form and will give you back within one hour approximately.5- if system is down you may have to wait a little more until system is up & process start again.6-if you want to enclose your attested documents particularly photocopies as often requested by admission offices, they can do it for free and will give you back after 15-20 minutes. Here is Detailed Review.One of best government office. Staff is very humble and cooporative. I got degree attestation and whole process is of 15 to 20 minutes but due to wait it took 1 to 2 hours.Following are the steps for degree attestation:1. First you need to complete online application and submit. After scrutiny they will let you know through email and sms aswell that your application is accepted and now select time for appointment, slots for appointment are limited so you may get slot after 2 or 3 week. You can postpone your appointment once fixed but same issue you wont get early appointment and cancel as well.2. On appointment date, at office gate first is security check they will check you application and CNIC, so do bring your original CNIC with you.3. After entering the office, there is token machine, just enter your CNIC number and get the token.4. On top there is big screen for displaying token number in processing.5. There are 4 counter, naming with 1, 2, 3 and 4.6. Watch your turn on screen and go to counter 1 on your turn. They announce token number as well. TIP: Do not go without your turn, they wont process and ask you to wait for your turn.7. After counter 1 they will ask you to go to counter 3 for challan submission.8. After challan submission go to counter 2 for application submission.9. After application submission they will let you know the time for application collection on the same day.Some Important Informations:1. Must bring original documents along with copies.2. If you made mistake in your application or forgot to add document in online application, So on your turn ask on counter 1 and they will edit your application on spot and add missing info.3. If you want to attest copy of your degree and your original degree is not attested before. They wont attest copy without original attested So they ask you to attest your originals as well.4. You can collect your documents before the end of day, 5 oclock and on next day as well but it is highly recommended to collect documents on the same day.5. If you request they will seal your documents in envelop. This process will take 10 to 15 minutes.TIPS:1. Bring at least 2 copies of each documents and CNIC as well.2. Bring ballpoint with you, sound fishy but you may need for sign a document.3. Bring envelop or file for documents while collecting documents. Documents are not wrapped in envelop.4. Last but not least, wait for your turn do not create panic. It will do nothing but make you and others late after all its government office.

Criteria for degree attestation have been changed. You must have to register online on HEC portal before attestation of degree. Complete your form on HEC portal and schedule an appointment. Come earlier in Morning of your appointment date and get a token to get your degree attested on time. After successful verification your documents, you will be forwarded to next counter for fee submission and finally after fee submission, you will submit your documents at last counter where your documents will be attested and you will get back your documents within an hour of submission. Good luck on your journey from untested to attested.

HEC has improved a lot in its degree attestation service. I had undergone the same process before and it was so messy and uncomfortable. But now they have the whole application made online and you show up at your selected time slot. Theres no congestion and everything gets dome so smoothly and hassle free within a maximum of 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. The token system makes things more streamlined. I am very happy with the improvements made there.

Very nice experience and systematically operated facility.You will feel respect for people visiting here from Gate in till Gate out. Every person performing outstanding, especially Deputy Director Mr. Bashir is an amazingly helpful officer. People like him are putting their best effort in making our institutions better.

Place ment for educated class but not look like it. Mostly applicant roam here like they are shopping vegetables.Staff is friendly and co-operative but applicants kept them indulge in different lame inquiries rather than waiting for their turn. Procedre took like 2hr if all documents are complete but due to people asking question that not really matter so took more than 5hr.Do wait for your turn and every thing is okay.

Excellent services.The best government office i ever visited.Online appointment and ticket/token system make the whole process very much convenient and speedy. In addition, staff was very co-operative and friendly. However, seats are a bit uncomfortable to sit for a long time.

Pathetic service. I took appointment at 11: 30 am and my turn came at 03:00. What is the use of taking appointments when they cant even follow the system? Also the counter person were rude and failed to provide me information. There are only 2 counters and hundreds of candidates coming each day. Simply garbage system!!!!!

Giving four stars considering the fact that it is a government institution and yet its services are impressive. Location is a bit hard to find since it is not on the main road. Seating arrangement was good but it will get difficult to be seated for an hour or two. The people inside the windows are somewhat cooperative. You dont have to go anywhere outside to deposit the fee. The whole process of attestation takes 2 to 3 hours at Max.

HEC office is located in very good location of Lahore.

I had worst experience in HEC and the system is still the same there is no meaning of online system. They don’t have any facilities if someone came from outside the country. Staff behavior was too bad and rude like they are paying on our behalf. Pathetic people and environment.

Time slot aloted to me was 13:30-14:30, Friday. There is actually a break on Friday, about which i was unaware, the break on Friday is from12:30 to 2:45. Keep it in mind, Its not a typographical mistake it really is 2:45. The officials come back to the counters at 2:00 pm and after 10 minutes they say its our HEC official 30 minutes break now, so they turf off the counter lights and go, and came back at 2:45. I went to HEC at 12:15 just to grab my token prior to the break but the counter machine refused my request :( so i got my token at 2:15 (after Jumma) submitted my documents at 3:15 at got if back at 4:30.

Service is fine. Online appointment system and then the ticket counter system is very good just to keep the flow under control. Strict check-in at appointmented day and time slot is another factor to maintain the crowd. So you have to keep in mind to arrive on time, getting late will result in the change of appointment, getting there early will cause you to wait until your appointed time slot clicks in.Although, there is no printing or photocopying service nearby so you better arrive here with all the necessary documents in hand, especially for HECs record keeping you need to bring extra photocopies of the documents to be attested.After the submission, usually there is a waiting time of at least 1 hour to receive ur documents, since the waiting area is not so comfortable as of course it is not meant to get relaxed here, so there are a lot of cafes and malls around here so you can really spend a happy hour Procedure:Step1: Get registered at HEC ePortal and follow the instructions.Step2: Get the ticket number by either NIC no. or by application I.D. (Application ID is better)Step3: Upon the call for your no. get to the Counter no. 4 (if the counter setting is changed later on then follow the instructions accordingly) and hand over your documents to the representative.Step4: At the same counter and at the same time the representative will sort out the documents, will clip them and will give to you, then you move to the next counter at ur right.Step5: It will be counter no. 3 and it is the bank payment counter. Hand over the documents and then upon his request pay the fee accordingly and get your receipt together with the documents. ( Try to pay the amount in full, because sometimes there is a problem with the balance change)Step6: Move to the next Submission/Equivalence counter to your right again. Submit your documents to be attested. Then the representative will give you a receipt and will ask you to wait for at least an hour to receive your attested documents.Step7: At the Submission/Equivalence counter a range of ticket no. will be called to que up. Get there, present the previously given receipt and get your attested documents happily.Tip: Before leaving the counter make a thorough inspection of your documents to avoid any swapping/mixing of your documents with any others. Also check the attestation is right and completed.The whole process is self service based so dont you get involved with any fake HEC agent or a fraud person.

Very well managed and planned institute providing very fast services.While submitting online application it take some time for initial scrutiny of uploaded documents but once you are allowed to select a day for your appointment you are good to go.Just visit HEC in allotted time slot, take your token ticket from machine and thats it.Please follow all the instructions for mentioned on Application form.Thank you.

Very good service, I just needed to have my degree attested copies in seald envelope by hec, they just did it within 10-15 minuts on verbal request without any charges, no need to take appointment for this.Make sure to bring your CNIC to get entery and also bring envelops to get sealed as they will not peovide the envelops

It is a regional HEC office in Lahore. Mostly students and graduates attest their degrees here. It is located near to Ghalib Market and behind Ali Plaza on main MM Alam road.

In recent years HEC much improved their process of degrees attestations!

I visited for degree attestation. Please note my observations.1. Online application filling/process is quite tiring though justified. If your documents are complete then there should not be any problem.2. Once you submit online applicatation for degree attestation, they might take extra time (more than a week) in application scrutiny(it is 3 days officially):::So keep calling HEC daily after 3 days.3. It might take 1 to 3 weeks to schedule the appointment. Luckily I got in 1 week.4. HEC office is pretty organized. However it might take 2-3 hours less or more depending on various on the spot situations. So keep patience. Follow your turn. Dont try to surpass (its moral obligation).5. If you had Early morning appointment, you will receive attested documents between 3-4pm on same day.Tip: The formula of coming 15 minutes early and bringing ALL documents always work provided your day is not a BAD day.It took me 18 days from start to end.

Service for Equivalence certificates or Degree attestation. Application is online, but the documents verification is done here. Documents after attestation are returned after about 2-3 hours. Overall, the standard of service is okay.

Information system is not as great and not up to the mark to be labeled as higher education commission.Service is slow that one readily gets disappointed.Less number of windows and usually long waiting lines.No proper feedback online.FAQs area doesnt cover the quireis generally asked by the students.

Worst possible set up. Why all government institutes have a habit of making our lives miserable. I went there for degree attestation and there system wasnt working. These under performing govt departments should be privatized with clear cut focus on performance and productivity.

I participated in a workshop here. Halls are good and spacious, the residence is having enough capacity, but the rooms are not as clean as they should be

Average experience not extra ordinary staff as I was expecting. No parking arrangements, very uncomfortable seats. I filled online form and took its print but they said to print again from our lab. Too much waiting time. Only 2 persons to deal 250 persons a day

Extremely mismanaged system. They really dont care and dont bother giving any information if its not convenient for them. They would disappear for an hour without any explanation and sign claiming lunch break and would leave you waiting in the designated area. Furthermore no one bothers to pick up the call and when they do the information provided by the lady is so useless its unusable. Its like shes doing you a favour saying HI to you. The attestation system SUCKS. Even though they ask you to book the appointment in advance (which by the way takes a month), they book sooooo many people that your turn will never come in the hour time slot that youve booked. Whats the point of booking an appointment then?

Should make simple and easy process for attestation. They are using the most complicated process and charging unnecessary fee to students for degree verification.
