It smelled of litter and potty. I had to wear three N 95 masks but I fainted as soon as I entered my house. My body couldnt cope with the trauma it went through. Never again am I going their again. I dont understand who in their right frame of mind constructs a community center over a sewerage nalla. Im telling you its a yahoodi sazish!

Nice place for afterhours

An old colonial era place, the place stands out for its elegance and grace. Food at all eateries is excellent. Service is superb. The back porches and the golf course equally wonderful.

Lahore gymkhana is located on a huge piece of land.We were staying at their guesthouses which had a complimentary breakfast.Parking is free in front of the guesthouses. The amenities of the Lahore gymkhana are available to guests.There is a ramp to get into the guesthouse for wheel chairs.The kids had a great time at the play area which was covered with a soft green mat. The slides and swings are all made of plastic so relatively heat proof.There are white peacocks roaming on the property.The breakfast was in the basement. It had options of cereal, halwa puri, sabzi (vegetable ), Chaney (chickpeas), croissant, omelette station, boiled eggs, jam, honey, butter, pancakes, bananas, yogurt drink, tea, coffee etc. Cutlery was not always available and if requested took sometime to come.The room was a big. Even with the additional single mattress on the floor there was walking room. The rooms are tastefully decorated in muted colours. Lighting was provided through sconces and a lamp. Air conditioning was top notch. The electricity would frequently go however the changeover was relatively quick. An electric kettle was available in the room. Extra towels and a hairdryer was provided on request. They dont provide and iron as they have laundry facility available. The room is equipped with a flat screen TV.The room had a couch, two comfortable armchairs and a luggage keep. The room had a built in wardrobe also.The bathroom had a glass shower area and basic toiletries available.We ordered tea and food and taste and quality were both good.Please note that the dining area has a strict rule for no shorts although we were informed at the reception that it would not be an issue.The staff expects to be tipped for carrying luggage and in the parking area.

A great place in Lahore since British Empire where only members and their families can go. All the recreational activities are there. Golf club, restaurants some indoor games ,gym and rooms for members living are available. It takes years to become members of Lahore Gymkhana. It is really a prestigious place in Lahore. One feel honored to go there.

On first appearances this hotel looks incredible- extremely aesthetically pleasing with amazing facilities and grounds! Understandably so as to cater to the VIP guests and members that come to stay.On our first day, the way we were received was not amazing- I understand that security must be thorough and guests should be made to feel safe but not to the extent where you are made to feel unwelcome.Furthermore, some of the reception staff questioned that we even had a booking which was below the line.However, Farhan Sir was absolutely amazing!! Made us feel extremely welcome, was very friendly and approachable, and made our stay all the more hospitable.Understandable that members will have special treatment and receive perks however would appreciate at least a stable level of treatment/respect as we are after all still paying to stay.Issues at the restaurant after ordering and waiting for half an hour we were told about extra charges which is fine had we known earlier and had not wasted our time!No early check in hence you have to pay more or wait in the reception area which is frustrating.Only one room key was given which is difficult to handle with more than one guest.Internet was not great and some issues with the plugs and sockets.We asked for a room change but it did not happen.All in all I would appreciate for these issues to be resolved, but will definitely stay again when in Lahore.

A historical club Lahore Gymkhana . Fabulous marvelous. One famous sentence from Indian Army that we have a tea in Gymkhana Lahore bit they couldnt but we serve them tea via Abhinandan

Lahore Gim Khana is one of the historic palace to visit. But only members are allowed or with the members you can visit. Its a historic palace and have lot of facilities I.e Gym, swimming pool, library, squash etc. Have lot of food areas I.e veranda, thaichin etc. The food of the Gym Khana is not so great. They prices are cheep as compared to the market but the food tastes is not so great. The quality of the food is good but the taste is not so great. The food of the thaichin is great. Special dishes are chicken chilli dry and fish with sauce. Overall its a good time to spend there.

I recently stayed there with my family ( 8th Feb 2020 weekend) was very impressed with decor & cleanliness of the place. Staff was very professional & cautious. Except there was electricity outage a few times and the room electricity wouldnt kick in until I would take out the check in card from the slot and put it back in after a few minutes, which was kinda weird. But over all great place to stay.

Was there on a family gathering. Food has improved a lot at gymkhana. The view is good with all those lush green grounds

I have just started playing at the club. Not sure why a barbecue area is being constructed next to the courts. It will create a lot of noise pollution and it will become impossible to play in the evening. The management should reconsider its decision to build the barbecue next to courts and move it elsewhere in the club. Thanks

Stayed in the Lahore gymkhana guest rooms.If you have a membership or can get a reference it is a pretty decent place to stay for the price you have to pay.Overall good cleanliness, service is good but not great. Breakfast is included and pretty good. Recommended place for the price, but dont expect it to be PC or Avari.

Great location, situated at the center of the city. Relaxing and comfortable stay. Though i found it bit haunted during late night, may be due to less lighting.

Really enjoyed practicing golf during offical business trip to Lahore. Surprisingly rates were cheap and staff at golf course was welcoming. You can take golf stick balls even joggers at rent at gymkhana.
