A cool place for breakfasts, lunches and dinner with gatherings

It is a very nice and safe place to arrange small functions during this pandemic. Big halls are used for small gatherings which is excellent for the purpose of social distancing. Allowed timings are religiously implements. Quality of food is also good.

Nice place, sitting area in open, good walk track. They have a good coffee shop. Coffee is really good and they serve it hot unlike many places where you can just admire the surface design and gulp down the luke warm coffee.

Nice club in every way ,food games functions guest rooms even the lawns and services.i really enjoy my club. Guest room,s rent is reasonable.Coffee shop is the best place to sit.

The defence club is family club and more than 10000 honourable members they have all sports facilities and five star level dining areasBeautifully & professionally maintained.

I found it to be a great place to come for sports and ambience but i think they should add another squash court and a futsal pitch. The food is ok not super good like a few years ago but average in my opinion. Its private but is well managed. I would recommend this but I suggest finding a private club better suited to your needs as this place is falling from the high standards and expectations they fulfilled a few years ago

Ambience is very good. Food quality and taste is also good. The place requires a one time membership of ~8lacs. Then the food, gym, and other services are subsidized for you.The dress code for inner restaurant is very strict(no round neck, slipper, salwar kamez without coat etc) so its kind of a pain, but okay makes the environment worth it

Good food, especially the Chinese at a very reasonable price although you do need to have a membership for the club.

A good and entertaining place for DHA residents. Facilities like guest rooms are expensive. Govt/ DHA should encourage its senior citizens to avail the facility of Gym, Mini Golf, Swimming and other games at par with DeSom. The rate of Food should be lower than the Market.

Very well managed and have ample space. Building is also good. Good place to hangout for local residence. They have different restaurants in their club but their BBQ Restaurant is best. Evry thing is fresh and tasty. They have open area sitting and with lush green grass and plants its very relaxing to have such good food with calmness around you. Wish other restaurants were as good as BBQ restaurant. Rates are also very ecnomical. They have bakery, coffee shop and Chinese restaurant too. For members they also have guest rooms and other facilities. They used to have concerts in their lawn but not now.

Excellent place to stay . Food is very good . Rates are very reasonable. Very difficult to book as demand is huge . Suggested them to increase capacity and add more rooms . You can access the gym , restaurant and pool as well while staying there .

Membership is hard to get by. Otherwise all other facilities are awesome.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE FOR FAMILY DINING.

Was out on a fun father club as a guest brilliant experience. Good food clothes and other stalls also a lot of activities for kids like bouncy castle and swings. Have been there to use the restaurants before food was outstanding ordered Chinese.

Its a community club. Services avaliable on membership only. There are so many facilities like swimming separate pools are available for ladies and gent and children,Tennis , badminton, mini golf, jogging tracks, gym separate for ladies and gents. Open all facilities from morning till night. There are also coffee shop. Restaurants like morocon , Chinese and bar be que, bakery and party halls. Conference halls. And library and other cards and board games are also available. They also organize time to time different activities like tambola, Spring festival, concerts, lectures and different classes like cooking, baking and flower arrangement. etc.

The renovated rooms are nice. Can be compared to a standard five star hotel room. Its a feel good place with nice walking tracks, parks and organised plantation all around. The only problem is that rooms are seldom available at a short notice.

Im not a member, just invited to a dinner. The ambiance (aam-bee-aance) was wonderful, peaceful and quiet. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The Chinese food was just OK, nothing really grand about it, which was comically disturbing (in a funny sarcastical manner) because I was expecting it to be amazing. But, like I said before, the overall aura of the place itself was good.

The Defence Club Lahore was registered with Assistant Registrar Joint Stock Companies Punjab Lahore on 9th August 1990. The Club was formally inaugurated by the then Chief of Army Staff General Asif Nawaz Janjua HI(M) on 23 Jan 1992.Over the period facilities were added to include Swimming pools (Ladies/Gents), Wooden Flooring in Squash & Badminton Courts, Golf view Chinese & Italian Restaurant, Coffee Shop & Pastry Shop.During the years 2006 – 2010 massive renovation works on Club Façade, Lobby, Card Room, Sitting Hall, Banquet Hall, Library and Community Centre Halls were undertaken involving complete reshaping of Club thus giving it a new and befitting look, a fine blend reflecting both contemporary and traditional culture of Lahore.

Defence Club J Sector Phase 1 DHA is a great place for family entertainment, the food in all restaurants is absolutely delicious. Service is fast and facilities are good too. It is a place worth going.

Waste of money. Gym is disgusting, crowd is spoiled who never put their weights back. Pompous staff. Poor security. Lame excuse for a club. Just another way for DHA to make money.

A great place to relax & meet up with friends. The restaurants are all very good & the Coffee Shop is excellent. The gym facilities, the tennis courts and the club lawns are all very beautiful especially in spring. Of course you have to be or know a member to get access.
