It is cardiac hospital only for heart peteints.very good treatment and environment.butt a little problem is that staff is very short.and other one emergency block and system is not suitable for serious peteint.because every peteint stand in a lengthy qeu.and very first you make a slip then you go for e.c.g.and then you go to doctor there are also a lengthy qeu.after checking you go to staff nurses room and they give you medicine and injections.it is not a emergency treat.it is a outdoor peteint treatment.it should be must change the method.

Specialized heart hospital in the country. Patients come from all over the country for treamtment. There are three category for payment, poor(almost free) , Govt Servent(partially free) and private.For most of appointments you will get date from 2 to 6 months due to load on single hospital.Even for heart tests you have to wait for months or find a reference.Govt should focus on building new heart hospitals in major cities to provide ease to patients and Doctors.

One of the best hospital for cardio issues in punjab everything is free if go govt, not private. Only thing which is worse is too much crowd n u wont get even a place to sit easily anywhere. If ur patient is in critical condition then dont come here if u not willing to wait for like 4 to 5 hour n even after u get admitted u wont get bed easily. Its a long procedure people wait there for many days just to get bed. So only come if u can bear all these situations.

This hospital is one of the best heart hospital in lahore but there are few things that makes this reputable hospital a worse nightmare for a patient.1. OPD is a mess. There is no information counter that can guide you properly. They will make you go here and there just to get a proper treatment.2. Guards are goons in disguise. If you visit emergency in this hospital then try to feed (bribe) the guards with only 40 to 50 rupees and they will let you walk pass and meet any person you wanna visit.3. In emergency(ICU) when doctor tells you that the patient is stable enough to leave the hospital then insist on finding the cause of the problem. The doctor will most definitely scold you and tell you that they have other patients to treat. But for the sake of patient dont leave the hospital. Doctor in this hospital have only one mission. That is to make the patients condition stable and send him to home. They wont be held responsible if you lose the patient. They will tell you that it is the will of Allah.4. Always make a gate pass from the information counter in the emergency of cardiology. Then you may not have to feed (bribe) the guards.5. Never leave your patient! Even if the guards insist on it and tell you they will take care of the patient or will call out your name when in need. They have only two missions. Treat and goodbye. The doctor and staff feels no pain or regret if your patient suffers from pain or even die.6. Never get down or lose hope. Every person, staff and doctor in this facility will scream from the top of his lungs at you for asking a simple question.Other then that the hospital is pretty good and with clean environment. Like all other places You must have sources to get the proper treatment. Otherwise they will discharge you and tell you to visit OPD. Even after visiting OPD they will give a time like 4 months or so for a 10 minute treatment.

This is a wonderful free facility. Basic and advanced facilities are available for cardiac emergencies. I have not seen a governmental facility with such services. Emergency medicine and other facilities are absolutely free. Good cooperative doctors and staff. The only draw back is due to pressure of growing population and a good hospital, patient influx is too heavy to handle by the staff and the doctors. Occasional delays occur due to it. Even investigation of blood work and other test are free for emergency patients.

Thanks Allah that we have cardiac facilities at home. Mismanagement, poor housekeeping, uncleanliness, ill discipline, non dutifulness, irresponsibility & non caring have become part of our society. We need to work on these issues before blaming any institute for its work environment.

My brother recently had a Thallium Scan done at PIC. They, not looking at his history and condition, gave him a pill before the procedure after which he passed out/fainted. They didnt have a working defibrillator to revive him. Luckily he came to with Allahs mercy without the defib. But What idiots would operate a hospital without having a working defibrillator, let alone a cardiac institute!!!!!!!! They should be sued for that!!!! This truly shows that they have no regard for a human life.
