Greedy doctor not listen to the patients just need money and not properly diagnose the people

Very very greedy person. gives only 2 minute to a patient, doesnt listen any question. cares only about money.

My experience with Dr. Arif was wonderful. He completely listened to me and gave me a proper prescription and medical advice. He was very attentive, careful, cooperative and very friendly albeit professional. He showed great interest in my well being and did a thorough checkup. In a nutshell, I am very pleased with my decision to go to him.

Please escape yourself from these kind of doctorsThey just give medicine which increase your pain and the next step of earning money startsfirst they suggest you ultrasound from specific doctor which will charge you double chargesthen they would suggest you endoscopy and gastroscopy of 23k fees

He practices in a room in Chughtais lab. The staff there is just unprofessional and rude, and the doctor too is unprofessional and has no sympathy for his patients, considering the fact that most of the patients that visit him have serious liver diseases.We booked an appointment with him and reached Chughtais lab before time. They made us wait 2 hours past our booked time. Whenever we asked the staff how much more we had to wait for our turn, the reply was 15 more minutes everytime.During our time there, there was some issue with the lights in the toilet and they couldnt be used. Upon complaining to the staff they rudely replied that your complaint has been lodged. I mean just that and nothing else.On our turn, we went to the doctors room. The doctor took about 8 minutes to check.The doctor seemed qualified, though not friendly and a bit rude. He spoke as less as he possibly could, and wasnt keen on taking any questions. He asked us to return exactly after a week. After the checkup we paid a fee of Rs. 3000.Two days before our next appointment we called them to confirm our appointment. We were told that the doctor is on leave and they had no information on when hell return. They asked us to call after 2 days as by that time they might know when hell return. We called them again after 2 days and they again asked us to call after 3 days, as he is still on leave and they have no information about this return.Quite frustrated with them, we decided to switch to a different doctor (Dr. Aftab Mohsin) and are quite happy with our decision.In my personal opinion Dr. Arif Qayyum is too old to work. He should retire from his work rather than playing with the lives of his patients.

He is the best in the field hands down. My mother was treated in Canada for 3 years without any improvement. In just 2 months with Dr. Arif, she recovered from chronic constipation. After that my wife was under treatment with various doctors in Lahore with no results. They were all treating her for Gastritis. Finally we took her to Dr. AQ and he immediately told us to hospitalize her. He suspected pancreatitis and guess what, he was spot on. 6 months under idiots from expensive hospital didnt do anything for my wife. The other doctors were nice, had a big smile for their 5,000 rupees but completely incompetent. I couldnt believe Dr. AQ didnt even need lab tests and told us to be hospitalized. When the tests finally came, the people at the hospital were amazed how he knew or even suspected this without test results. The answer is based on sheer Competency. Dr. AQ is the most competent Gastro we have ever met. My uncle. Gy once under the care of Dr. Anwaar A Khan. But even AAKhan I would bet is just on par with Dr. AQKhan. The only problem that people face with him is bad admin staff and Dr. AQs rough attitude. And I agree he does not sit there with a big smile. And thats because he knows he is the best. Also, hes not there to waste your money. People that give him a poor rating are basing their opinion on other doctors that have a big smile and even a bigger hand in your pocket. We went to National hospital, Sharif City, Iqra etc. But have not found a doctor of his caliber.In short if you want to be treated by a fool with deep hands in your pocket by all means go to National or whatever hospital. But if you want real quantifiable and quality treatment, stick with Dr. AQKhan. Just ignore his sarcasm and tanz. He is just like your grumpy granddad (bitter but correct). And he saved my wifes life. A few more months of poor diagnosis would have killed her. Also, when he asked us to do MRCP (MRI) on her, the written result was false (maybe deliberately done so we spend money on ERCP). He was able to read the films unlike other gastros. So he asked us to do the MRCP again in order to save us from an ERCP (invasive and life threatening procedure). May Dr. AQKhan live a long healthy life and keep giving people good treatment. Ameen.Lastly I am not crticizing National hospital or any other hospitals. I am criticizing the gastros in these hospitals. At National hospital we found the gyne department to be excellent.

He is unprofessional, worst attitude, bad behaviour and a old horse who just loves money. Please dont waste your time there. Professor Sajid Obaidullah , a true professional physician who listen to you very carefully and very friendly human.

He is sitting there to trap the poor patients, get them admitted in a private hospital, ask them to have a long list of diagnostic tests, he is very negligent and indifferent in his profession. He is only there to earn money. For God sake dont be trapped.

Although he is a qualified senior doctor but due to heavy patient inflows seems he is not worth, what you are paying him. Proud & rude this is his personality traits. No soft speech or sympathy for patients.

NOTHING LESS THAN A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE AND A RIP OFF. FALSELY ADVERTISED AS A SPECIALIST WITH AN EXCLUSIVE POINT. THEY ARE USING A SMALL PORTION OF CHUGTAIS LABS FACILITY WITH NO PARKING ARRANGEMENTS. THE ONLY EXCLUSIVE ATTRIBUTE IS THE OUTRAGEOUS CONSULTATION FEE OF 3000 AND FOR THAT THIS DOCTORS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF WILL HAVE YOU WAITING FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR PAST YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT AND THAT TOO IN A HALLWAY RATHER THAN A PROPER WAITING AREA. FOR SITTING ARRANGEMENT THEY HAVE GOT EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS PILED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER WITH NO ROOM AT ALL AND THAT FREAKING FATSO QAYYUM KHAN CANT CARE LESS ABOUT ANY OF IT. IF ANYTHING HE ENCOURAGES ALL THAT UNPROFESSIONAL DECORUM AND BEHAVIOUR. AFTER WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR PAST MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WHEN I APPROACHED HIS STAFF I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS JUST ONE MORE PATIENT AND THEN I WILL BE SENT IN, WHICH I REALIZED WAS THE SAME DRUM HIA STAFF WAS BEATING WITH ALL OTHER PATIENTS WHEN ASKED ABOUT HOW MUCH MORE THEY HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE CHECKUP. THIS CLEARED EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS SO CALLED SPECIALIST & HIS CLINIC AND I IMMEDIATELY GOT OUT OF THERE WHICH IS SOMETHING I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE ELSE CONSIDERING A CONSULTATION SESSION WITH THIS HUMPTY DUMPTY, THAT IS OFCOURSE IF SOMEONES ASKING FOR MY OPINION, OTHERWISE GO AHEAD KNOCK YOURSELF OUT.

Proud, Greedy, and a Person without any feelings for Patient.Dr. Arif Qayyum is a big name in the field of Gastroenterology and liver diseases in Pakistan but unfortunately I found him very proud, and greedy person. I went to him for my stomach related problem, after waiting for 2 hours, he checked me for hardly five minutes and with so much proud and humiliation as if I am not paying him the fee or I have done some thing wrong in life. He treats his patients as if they are not humans but animals and he doesnt have value for their feelings and pain. We paid whatever he asked in fee, I think it was Rs. 2500, but his behavior with us was really inhuman and bad. I would not recommend going to such a person, if a doctor does not know how to be empathetic with the patient then how can he cure them.Shifa Allah k hath mein hai lakin kuch logo ko humne hi kuda bana diya hai, jo insan aap ko izzat nahi de sakte wo shifa bhi nahi de sakta. Please aesay logo k pass matt jaye, uss doctor ko dekhaye jis ka bhalay hi naam choto ho per jis k pass app ki baat sunay ka time ho. Jab tak koi doctor app ki baat nahi sonay ga wo aap ka ilaaj bhi nahi ker sakta.Sorry Dr. Arif, you are too proud to be a doctor.

Very rude person. Doesnt provide value/service for paid amount.

He is just a money seeker ..

I have paid 3000 checkup fee and Dr was sleeping while checking and nothing else.... Very bad experience
