Very pathetic staff they have no manners at all that how to talk humbly or politely with patients and attendants. Specifically baby vaccination dept. Rude nurces and doctors. No training no manners, no matter how much you talk politely with them. And when you said this on their face they can put your child in danger I believe. Please replace all staff with the trained and polite one. Like in other countries please show them videos that these are the manners not those pathetic manners they have learned from their homes.

A good government hospital. Here professionalism/competency and care of doctors was above my expectations, I have had an experience with this hospital regarding two departments,i.e: eye and cardiology (heart) and the treatment was satisfactory. However, nursing staff is a little rude like other govt. Hospitals. Here Outdoor patients departments are also very crowded. Some wards and OPDs are in old building and poorly managed.

During vascular surgery, doctors ask to bring basic medicines and things like gloves from pharmacies situated outside the hospital and then they move a patient directly to ward instead of ICU knowing the patient is in critical condition. Numerous requests make it possible for the patient to be shifted in intensive care. Although, they claim free treatment, we had to buy 80,000 rupees worth graft and more than 20,000 rupees worth medicines. The most ill-mannered nurses have been employed who do not care a wee bit about patient and attendants concerns and go against what doctor asks them to do. Moreover, getting lab test is also a hassle. The blood bank is in precarious state as they handle blood like its an unhygienic juice corner in a street with a very high chance of mistake and contamination. Most of the medicines are not available in the pharmacies inside the hospital. Some of the doctors are so egoistic especially in surgical ward 4 that they would not care to answer any questions and utterly ignore grievances which begs the question why would they join the profession if they dont have any passion to serve the patients? I have seen doctors bursting into laughter inside the ICU room without any regard for patients who are struggling to survive and many are on ventilator. Whenever a senior doctor comes on round, the entire staff is in a frenzy and doesnt allow attendants to come inside the ward. All the chores that the staff and nurses are supposed to do for the patient is done by the family and relatives of patient ranging from purchasing medicines, bringing reports from lab to ward, transferring patients from one place to another and like simple things such as booking a wheelchair for a patient. Even inside the emergency operation theater, they dont have medicines and equipment such as surgicell and I had to roam around the city to search for it. People come and go inside the operation theater as it its a cafe. Shame on the government to dishonour civilians like this! They are treating people like animals and gross negligence has been observed inside the hospital.

A hospital is a health care institution providing patient treatment with specialized medical and nursing staff and medical equipment. The best-known type of hospital is the general hospital, which typically has an emergency department to treat urgent health problems ranging from fire and accident victims to a heart attack. A district hospital typically is the major health care facility in its region, with large numbers of beds for intensive care and additional beds for patients who need long-term care. Specialised hospitals include trauma centres, rehabilitation hospitals, childrens hospitals, seniors (geriatric) hospitals, and hospitals for dealing with specific medical needs such as psychiatric treatment (see psychiatric hospital) and certain disease categories. Specialised hospitals can help reduce health care costs compared to general hospitals.[1][2]A teaching hospital combines assistance to people with teaching to medical students and nurses. The medical facility smaller than a hospital is generally called a clinic. Hospitals have a range of departments (e.g.: surgery and urgent care) and specialist units such as cardiology. Some hospitals have outpatient departments and some have chronic treatment units. Common support units include a pharmacy, pathology, and radiology.Hospitals are usually funded by the public sector, by health organisations (for profit or nonprofit), by health insurance companies, or by charities, including direct charitable donations. Historically, hospitals were often founded and funded by religious orders, or by charitable individuals and leaders.[3]In the 2010s, hospitals are largely staffed by professional physicians, surgeons, and nurses, whereas in the past, this work was usually performed by the founding religious orders and members of their order or by volunteers. However, there are various Catholic religious orders, such as the Alexians and the Bon Secours Sisters that still focus on hospital ministry in the late 1990s, as well as several other Christian denominations, including the Methodists and Lutherans, which run hospitals.[4] In accordance with the original meaning of the word, hospitals were originally places of hospitality, and this meaning is still preserved in the names of some institutions such as the Royal Hospital Chelsea, established in 1681 as a retirement and nursing home for veteran soldiers.
