The music was overly loud, and not what Id expect at such a high end restaurant. Apparently theyre using YouTube (possibly) to play their music because an interview(or something) started playing over the speakers and played for quite some time, which made conversation really difficult. The lighting is dark, making the whole place feel like a club, especially when paired with the music. We were served our food after a very lengthy delay. Another family came in with us, had their food, paid and left before our food was served. The saving grace was the food though, thankfully, otherwise I would have been utterly disappointed. The beef teppanyaki and california maki roll was really good. The red snapper in thai red curry was good, however I found that the thai red curry serving was more like a sauce portion than a gravy portion, which was disappointing. Other than the food, the overall dining experience wasnt very good, and I wouldnt go there again because of that.

I loved it. Sitting was good. Food was good. I love to dine at Gaia had my best time there. And I would love to visit them again.

It is a Japanese fine dining restaurant which offers delicious food. They have a variety of dishes to satisfy every taste bud. If you’re a fan of Japanese food you must visit this place to try out the dishes they have to offer. They also serve a variety of drinks.

Went to celebrate my friends birthday. Reviews for this place had our expectations raised. However, the sashimi we ordered had a hair stuck on the ice it got served with. When we complained, the manager wasnt apologetic at all. To top it off, the dessert we ordered, (which they said was complimentary because our food got destroyed) had a hair in it too. The place is SO expensive, you at least expect it to be hygienic. Never going back again.

GAIA Japanese Fusion Restaurant is very good option for dining but it is very expensive option. If you want to spent a good time with your partner i recommend you to sit in Basement where you will have a very peaceful environment with no loud music sounds etc . Their Sushi is Great . This cafe serve the best desserts in town. Friendly and professional Staff.

Excellent food. The black cod was the best followed closely by the Maki. We ordered a huge array of dishes of which only the dish of the day disappointed. This was a risotto with the catch of the day, i.e. Red snapper. The dish failed miserably in taste and flavor and was the only dish that we returned.The evening was marred however by the following. My 1 year old niece, who already had a injury on her forehead was sitting in a chair. She moved slightly and the chair collapsed sending her wailing to the floor. After having somehow calmed her down, the evening resumed. Next to sit in that chair was my 8 year old son, and the chair collapsed again. This time we noticed that one leg of the chair was completely wonky and that as soon as a person put the slightest pressure on that side the chair would collapse.We informed the management of this and asked why this broken hazardous chair was being used. We were first informed that the chair had been removed, but some waiter had put it there by accident. All in all, to cut a long story short, the management did not take any responsibility or offer any recompense for two children falling due to their faulty equipment.The deserts were a failure too. The creme brulee was the only slight saving grace. The new York cheese cake, was horrible. Also equally disappointing was the macta banana cake. Also pertinent to mention here is that the serving size of the desserts was miniscule. Not enough for one person, let alone a group to share.In conclusion I would definitely visit again for the Japanese food, but nothing more than that.

Best Tepniyaki in Lahore

Very very good place! Top quality! But please use unsalted or low salt soy sause, this one is not good.Everything else is fine to a perfection!

Great food. Good service. The staff are very friendly and super courteous. They should have a separate section for families and couples who do not smoke, and also prefer virgin drinks.

A place for Japanese cusine. To be honest I feel its a bit over priced. I understand that its a high end place but the food wasnt that great. Its more of a status symbol in my opinion. I would recommend it to try it out once and see for yourself but I wouldnt go there again. Its more of a been there done that. Just my 2 cents on this place. Cheers.

I had been waiting to go to Gaia for a long time. In all fairness, I was impressed by the decor and interior layout in the basement. The place was extra clean and the staff was very nice.To Sushi was just okay. Not really fresh and crisp how raw fish should be. Some of the fish was processed (specially crab) and while it was being made, i just couldnt eat it.The prices are sky high. Not worth it and not recommended!

Best sushi Japanese restaurant in Lahore. Tried their salmon sashimi and nigiri both were good. But i loved their wagyu beef nigiri it was amazing must-try. And they have the best lobster roll you can find in Lahore must try if you like lobster.

Was alright. Food was not the way I expected them to taste like but totally get it as seafoods here aint that fresh. Nevertheless, experience was fine. The basement turns out to be a bar and wasnt expecting that especially here in Pakistan.

Really interesting food. Not really very authentic Japanese food, but really delicious and very well presented. The Maki rolls were especially nice. Be willing to pay 3000 per head to really enjoy different foods. Worth going with other people so one can try different things. I will definitely visit again.

Both my wife and I got really bad food poisoning after eating their sushi. It’s a shame that they charge so much and still have such pathetic hygiene standards. Eat at your own risk!

Im all on for new places coming up, well done!Staff needs more training, they are struggling to take orders on tablets.They need to be well presented and neat!! The experience was a great one. The staff was courteous, the ambience was good - the food, especially the Maki was really good.

One of the best quality of Japenese food in Lahore. California Maki, Rainbow Maki, Black Cod Fish are all great. Service level is slightly lower than the food they serve but food makes up for it.

Sushi is amazing but their prices !! No joke, they charge you tax exactly the double of what you order. A Rs 1100 sushi will cost you Rs 2200. Whats with their tax?

Food quality was good.High end Japanese restaurant in DHA Lahore, they have a basement, ground floor and a first floor .The service was okay.We were a family of 4 people 3 adults and 1 child.The dessert was good.

Tasty cuisine but they could some adtl exotic sauces with the main course dishes to make the experience a little more divine.

Environment and food is excellent

We had all-you-can-eat sushi at PKR 3000 per person (incl. tax) and the food was pretty decent. The restaurant also has a great dessert selection priced between PKR 600-800. All in all, it was a great dining experience

A great place for Japanese fusion restaurant if you are looking for authentic Sushi or sashimi thats not your place. Miso black cod is a must try or maybe the best thing on the menu, when you can also go for gaia Maki thats the best maki roll they have. Prawn or mix tempura if you are into Tempura.

I really enjoyed the food the there. The beef tataki is spectacular. Finally a good restaurant has opened in DHA. The gaia sushi is a must have as well.
