But whoever visit please take care of cleanliness its our heritage and we must save it. Its first attraction where all tourists local or international love to go first.

Iqbal park was first known as manto park. There were only play grounds here. And a minarate was situated as a symbol of independence to remember 23 March 1940 Pakistan resolution. Here, that resolution was passed which resulted in the formation of Pakistan. Atvthe very same place where leadership of muslim league stood, Minar e Pakistan built. Government of Shahbaz Shareef built a much large park here in the name of Paistans National poet Allama Iqbal ho gave the idea of Pakistan. Now there are beuatiful scene in this park. An artificial lake, dancing fountain, Pictures of heroes who did political struggle for Pakistan with their stories, a museum and much more. Walls of Shahi fort are attached with the park. You pass through the park to go badshahi mosque as well, where tomb of national poet Allama Iqbal is also situated. If you visit Lahore, it is a must visit plaece with your children. So they can get familier with history.

I appreciate govt. of Lahore to make historical places wonderful for visitors and its long time when i visited Minar e Pakistan . Visitor can visit Minar e Pakistan , Museum , lahore Fort , Badshahi Masjid ...all in one go . Its huge complex park . Guides are available in Lahore fort (approx Rs 800-1200) will give detail history and provide all relevant information .

A great place... Minar e Pakistan, National Museum, Shahi Qila, Tomb of Allama Iqbal, Badshahi Mosque, Gurdwara all are at walking distance and each place is worth seeing. The architecture takes us back to Mughal era.

It was great park with historical places of pakistan. And you need almost 3 to 4 hours to take tour of it.

A great achievement by the previous government. Three places under one roof .Minar e PAKISTAN Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque. You can also visit Shrine of Sufi Saint Sher Shah Wali. There is a train which will take you to these places from starting point. There are two famous Restaurants in this park. Poet and Bundu Khan. There is also a museum named Lahore Heritage Museum. So come one full day picnic.

Parking is not available currently (December 2020). Hope for the best.

This Greater Iqbal park is located in center of Lahore near walled city. This is a remarkable place. When Pakistan regulation was passed on 23 march this place is built for remembrance. A very vast grounds here. Guddi ground is also include in it. Very neat and clean place. A little lake is also built for boating and the one of my favorite thing on this place is dancing fountain and the expensive hotel is also built on this place which name is Poet hotel. History museum is also built on this place. More ever this is one of the best place in the world for tourism a large number of tourism places for adventure.

A beautiful and the most historical place for the Muslims of subcontinent. Its being renovated and the beauty of this place is no match to any other. It is a place for all including youth, children and older people. There is National history museum as well. If you ever visit Lahore Pakistan you must visit this place. Highly recommended.

Greater Iqbal Park (Urdu: اقبال پارک‎), formerly Minto Park, is an urban park located in the outskirts of the Walled City in Lahore, Pakistan.[2][3][disputed – discuss] Before current renovations and expansion its name was Iqbal Park.[3] Noted as the home of Minar-e-Pakistan, the 125-acre park includes an artificial lake which spreads over four acres which includes an 800-feet-long musical fountain. Other attractions includes a soft rail, library, an open-air gym and a food court. The tombs of Allama Iqbal and Hafeez Jalandhari are also located in the park.[

Entry and parking is quite difficult but free. Not a good control. Inside park is large and has good range of rides. However in September 2020 only 4 rides operating due to covid-19 SOPs.

If you want to feel close to nature as well as your cultural and historical past this place is for you.......from the glory of Minar e Pakistan to the historical ambiance of lahore fort and spirituality of Badshahi Mosque with a little hint of sikh religion in the form of gurdawara....This place has every thing a person with intrest of history wants.....Also the park also encourages morning walks and jogs to stay healthy and fit.....To me its an all in one place park

Amazing Place

Went to Greater Iqbal Park luckily on 23rd March, Pakistan day and it was quite good in every way. The whole park has been modified alot in every way and there have been changes over the years. Right now the place has expanded and attracts thousands of visitors daily. Shows the history of Pakistan and gives a great feeling.

A very beautiful and enchanting place with very poor maintenance. The fact that there is no proper place for parking is very disturbing. I mean you have park on such a large area and what would it take to construct a proper multi story building for parking. Just the fact that government is collecting black payment from private parkings. I would fearlessly say that Imran Khan government completely destroyed the whole park along its management.First let me tell you that I am not biased in the comments made afterwards. We have seen the same park running under the supervision of Shehbaz Sharif which is appreciable and now the same park is running under the supervision of Usman Buzdar and you can see what wreck it has become by visiting yourself. If you take into account my opinion. I would say that if you go to visit, never keep in mind that you will find parking easily. And also everywhere you will go, itll be closed like Tomb of Allama Iqbal.

Nice place but no parking facility

This park is located in Androon Lahore. It has Minar-e-Pakistan and national history museum also acts as gateway to Badshahi mosque and Lahore fort.

Very good place. Its following the sops. The train isnt working but it is still a nice place for a family outing.

Renovation and Expansion Along with renovation of the Minar-i-Pakistan (Pakistan Resolution Movement), the project features expansion of the Iqbal Park by including it in the stretch of Circular Road between the park and Lahore Fort. The 125 acre green oasis is surrounded almost entirely by the old city of Lahore.The project was started on 10 October 2015 and was completed on 9 November 2016 incurring a total cost of PKR 981 million as quoted by the contractor of the project. The construction project was awarded to Habib Construction Services which is one of the largest construction companies of Pakistan and have worked on several other mega projects previously. Also history museum and an outdoor amphitheater are under construction inside the park premises

This park is beautiful and family friendly. It has great manicured lawns and flowerbeds. It is well maintained including regular cleaning. The minar is beautiful especially at night and the Badshahi mosque in the background just adds to the beauty. There are a couple of high class restaurants in the grounds including The Poet and Bundu Khan that are worth a visit. The park is buzzing on cool nights and still feels safe. The lighting is great and just right although some areas could do with more lighting.

Great place ️ you can enjoy dansing fountain after 5:30 pm.

One of the most well managed parks of Lahore. There are alot of attractions and beautifully structured areas. National museum is a great addition to this already marvelous park. One had to dedicate a whole day to visit this park, but try to visit it during winters and possibly on some weekday because its too crowded on Saturday and Sundays.

Overcrowded at weekends and holidays. Can not call it a decent place. The monument is wonderful. Liked to stroll around for a peaceful walk if no one is pushing you or yelling at top of their lungs.

Its a great spot to hang out with family but not on holidays and weekends. It gets really crowded in these days. Otherwise its a great place to spend your time, seeing the historical fort and mosque and have a casual leisure time in the well-maintained park.
