Wonderful and very informative place, children learn a lot about the life of butterflies and its an excellent initiative font the government. Kids, youngsters, elders and old age people all like it a lot. There is also the facility of vehicle inside for the people who cant walk.

Its a nice initiative. Something that everyone should visit. Because here in Pakistan there are few to almost no outdoor places like this one. You can take kids to this botanical garden and they can actually learn about butterflies and actually experience the environment of this whole thing. Its also a good place for adults too.

The Butterfly House was established in the upgraded Botanical Garden of Jallo Park last year and is country’s first ever such facility.

If you want to spend time with butterflies then suitable time is 10:00 to 13:00

In this house, a 300-feet long tunnel has been constructed to provide a perfect habitat to butterflies and around 3,000 different species of butterflies have been brought from different cities of the country. A butterfly laboratory has also been established to educate visitors regarding different stages that butterfly larvae go through.A Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) spokesperson told media on Sunday that an amount of Rs70 million had been spent on the project. He added that the PHA had developed the butterfly aviary over 16,500 square feet and the PHA had developed the aviary from its own resources.

Jallo park and it is an amazing experience I have visited many time this place with my kids they love to be there. The park is well organized and a soothing effect. You can enjoy with you family and friends but lone visitors can not amuse because you will enjoy with your companion

It is an outstanding creation in Lahore. If you want to enjoy in a natural environment and where your family have lovely weather butterflies flowers and a beautiful bridge to enjoy hieght. Really an outstanding place

However there were no butterflies because of the winter and the you want to see the butterflies and you have to visit it in spring. there is a beautiful waterfall and the sound of the water adds to the beauty of the surrounding

The butterfly park inside the botanical garden is a point of attraction for many. Although I couldnt find a single butterfly when I visited the last, in December 18. The entry ticket is pretty cheap anyway. The climate inside is controlled hence youd feel humid and warm even if youre visiting in winter.

The garden was no doubt beautiful but if you are going to find some exotic species of butterfly you will be disappointed. In the enclosure except for a few local species of butterfly nothing was to be found. During my trip all I spotted was two butterflies.
