It is a wonderful achievement of the government. It is a very wide park. The animals are given a jungle-like environment, you can also enjoy barbecues here

If you are into Lions and Tigers and want to see them doing activities actively, do visit Safari Wildlife Park Lahore. My tour was just an amazing trip to watch the giant lions and cubs there. You can also experience watching other animals too. Have a great trip to everyone else. I would recommend you to visit at time of Lions lunch time :D Thats 3:30pm-4:30pm. Your visit will be worthy then :)

Lahore Zoo Safari is a zoo in Lahore Punjab Pakistan.Located off Raiwind, Safari Road, the LahoreZoo Safari is a huge facility, spread over 242 acres. It was established in 1981.The attractions include a large walk through aviary. Besides, there are deer, lions, crocodiles, tigers, blackpanther & snakes to be found.This place is for every one & also good for Family picnic, friends & for animal lovers.Facts1. In 2006, accessibility to the facility was increased with the construction of 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) road leading to the wildlife park.2. The facility houses Largest walk through aviary of Pakistan, which includes; Indian peafowl, common & silver pheasant, emu, mute swan, ostrich, dalmatianpelican, demoiselles cranes, ducks & flamingos.3. Boating & fishing facilities have been developed near a lake. The lake is the biggest in the city, complete with four islands.4. The Woodland Wildlife Park was established in 1981 over 242 acres (98 ha) as a government funded public facility. In 1998, it was handed over to the Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department (PWPD) by the Forest Department. In 2004, the largest walkthrough aviary of Pakistan was constructed in Woodland Wildlife Park and opened to public visitors. Boating and fishing facilities were also built near a lake. In 2006, Government of Pakistan sanctioned 87 million Pakistani rupees to reconstruct the 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) road leading to the wildlife park. This development increased the accessibility to the facility.The Government of Pakistan turned management of the wildlife park over to the Zoo Maintenance Committee (ZMC) headed by the Chairman of the PW PD. Vice-chairman Taqeer Shah said this transfer of control was due to poor previous management that was not working to improve the park. A ticket system was introduced in the wildlife park so that the Lahore Zoo Safari could come a semi-autonomous, self-financed organization. The park was extensively renovated and renamed Lahore Zoo Safari on January 21, 2009.The wildlife park is now considered to be an extension of Lahore Zoo.

Good fun for the little ones. Snake hall was fascinating . Food and other services were below average though and not well maintained.

Lahore Wildlife Safari Park has many attractive places and points including Lions,. Puma, Black Jaguar, open in a huge cage birds, Peacocks, Ducks, Crane, Swan, etc, Snake House Cobra and many more, Lake, Swings, Fun dunya, Deer, Stag etc.

Awesome experience. Camel cart ride was 70rs/person, tea 60rs/cup, horse ride 50rs /person, boat ride 450 for 9 persons. Entry ticket (car=100rs, adult=20rs, child below 10 years=10rs). I know a bit expensive but lovely place to visit. Those who visit zoo; safari zoo is a better place to visit

Amazing and undiscovered.I like this park. Good for all ages, huge land for animals. A person can spend a whole day with family.Animals are in quite clear and clean environment. Birds area, lion, puma, tigers, jaguar, snakes, beer, deer, neel gaye, and all types of birds etc are present.Entry ticket for car is 100, adults 20and kids 10100 rs each person for camel or horse rides.Snake area 50 rs each personLion area 50 rs each person

Quality time spend here.attraction full of events and learning for kids.Camel riding ,horse riding,and lots of fun omfor kids in FUN Dunya Park.Once u get entered you are fully captured by there.Boati g also available, pedal boating and also motor boating..You can hire full boat for just paying 450 for maximum eight people.Great scene when u see open wandering lions in spacious vast jungle wandering near your bus.Personal cars not allowed ,u have to embark a bus to visit lions in a natural habitat.

Family place for outdoors parties..... Food quality is not good. Tickets for everything from rides to seeing snakes.... Better to pack food from home to take it with you... A big investment is needed in the park for making it more fun..... Overall good experience.....

If u have kids, a fine open-weather, leisure day then its a good option for half day outing.... Kids would love, pony ride, camel ride ... Fun land, tiger/lion safari & zoo.... Boat ride is also a green signal (better to book whole boat exclusively for your family).. Snake house is a good addition and MUST....

Very nice Safari considering Pakistani standards. Its a good place for the whole family! An opportunity for kids to get to know the wildlife within secure parameters. Have always had fun here! The cafeteria needs improvement though. Strongly recommend for families who are visiting Lahore anytime soon. Happy Safari

Its a very beautiful place and I just love black jaguar...

A place to enjoy with family, there are several cantienes, a lake (boating available), a birds aviary, several animal cages and a lions safari.The place has several lawns where U can sit with ur family comfortably. A small carpet road is there which passes through almost the entire park, a which U can drive and park anywhere u want.There is also a large playland for children.

Needs maintenance but like every government project they build it beautifully and then forget it ever existed

Huge park but lacks the maintenance and managment... good to visit some of the animals and cages all the way thru driving a car myself but was not that upto the mark or expectations that I came with... I am sure they are going to improve tht soon... lion safari is good though, for that specifically, you have to go thru special official charged shuttle... hope its improvised till my next visit...

Very good place if you want to do safari at ur own car to look at animals (except Lion/Tiger) for which you need to go wild life park on transport. It cost 50 PKR for Lion Safari.

This wildlife safari park in Lahore has everything you need for nice family excursion or picnic. You have many animal enclosures (lions are plenty here ), then many lush green parks with big old trees you can rest under. Many Parks have swings and slides in quite an amount so that your kid or you wont have to wait for a turn ;) . A very nice Bird Aviary that lets you be up and close with many exotic birds. (With so many people coming in and feeding them, they have become domesticated). There are eateries as well, with slightly higher rates. Some Parks have handlers who will treat you with camel or Pony rides for a fee, however this is expensive. A coaster service takes you for an animal safari ride, which is just another Big enclosure spread over a few acres where they release their lions to stretch their legs in. Animals are well kept and well fed here.A splendid amusement park also resides right inside the Wild life park with mechanical and electrical rides your kids can enjoy. The ticketing scheme is also reasonable for these rides. This is a goto place for a good Family picnic.

Better than the Lahore zoo. The animals wer e better fed, they aviary was upto mark. However the lion safari busses could improve, all dust was coming inside the bus. Similarly, the grass outside the cages was overgrown, obstructing the view.

For those who lives outside walled city, its best place to checkout lions . Their snake house isnt bad either. Safari ride in open areas where lions were enjoying sun of winter was cool to see. Per seat of ride cost only 50/- Ride is short like for 10 mins. But why do Pakistanis put kids rides every where? Those rides are a big distraction for a child who has come to se. It really Good.

Nice place, but dont expect it as a big jungle or something at par with African Safari, its a small place where they have only a hand full of lions. The experience is good. Best time to visit is 2 hour before sunset. They have other small parks inside the vicinity.

The roads next to cages should have lights turned on after evening..You should build safe height overhead bridges for visitors to go inside open areas..A lion cub with polio condition disturbed me a lot..

The term safari is not fully justified in lahore safari park , as the lions , tigers puma and bear like animals were given some tranquilisers so that the authority must not have to work hard for the maintainess of the animals.

This has to be one of the nicest places in Lahore, but the management made a joke out of the whole ticket. At the gate they were charging as they pleased. They charged 300 for 5 adults and when I asked them isnt it 20RS per person they got confused. The park stays open at night but there absolutely no lights. Moreover if you book a careem inside the area, they ask the driver for 100/200 ( depending on their mood ) just for entry while the payment is for parking only.The rating is for the administration only.
