Certainly the best Japanese restaurant in Lahore! The most pricey, it comes to about Rs. 2,000-2,500 per head. Their appetizers, main courses and desserts - All stand out in taste and quality. The place is elaborately and tastefully set. The service is very good; Courteous, cooperative staff. Forget the price - The experience will be worth it!
Go only if you have developed taste for exotic foods like wasabi n sushi
Went to Fujiyama after almost a year.... Covid you know. But believe me I have tried almost all the places in Lahore but nothing beats Fujiyama for their sushi and beef tapanyaki. No match for their garlic rice. Though it is expensive but its worth it.
FUJIYAMA Japanese Restaurant located inside Avari Hotel is no doubt the best Japanese restaurant in Lahorewhen its 5 star hotel one could imagine the 5 star treatment and It starts when you enter this place.the staff is well trained no doubt they have got the best people working thereambience is 20/10this place makes the mood the food their crockery is 20 years old. and environment is bestfood is cooked live in front of you and you can choose spices and other saucesthey have a wide variety in the menu. and also for drinksprices are really high but remember this is a 5 star restaurant with top dining serviceshighly recommended for Japanese food lovers
To taste a difference in Japanese cuisine. Loved the ambience & cooking in your front.
The experience cannot get better than this. The food. The ambiance. The staff responsiveness. We were sitting at the live cooking counter and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only questionable thing that you could say was their service. We went when almost the whole restaurant was empty (though it got filled later), may be thats why we were getting things faster than usual. Ordered their chefs special meal: miso soup, chef starter, red snapper, chicken and lobster teppenyaki and then a desert. So all in all a must have experience. One caveat is that its expensive, so keep in mind something like 3-4K per person.
Fujiyama is at a 5-star hotel, so understandably its a bit on the high end. But its also worth it if you’re seeking an authentic japanese experience. In terms of seclusion, at least compared to the commercial restaurant, Fujiyama may be the answer. The experience of having your meat grilled in front of you on a hot metal griddle is also fairly tantalizing, so if you want to have a fun, communal date night with lots fire and Beef or Fish Teppanyaki, take bae to Fujiyama!
The place looks very tired now compared to restaurants in the city. Food was good, service has room for improvement.
Delicious sushi i ever had in my life
Not like beforeStandard dropped
Best Japanese restaurant in town, grate service, trained chef
Good place to eat Japanese food
Yummy food and lively ambiance
We went there to try something different. But seriously , the menu was a sort of Mathematical algebra for us . A normal Pakistani family cannot digest such sweetish zero spiced half boiled sort of japenese food. We had to switch to Lakhnavi restaurant present there. However ambience of the restaurant and behaviour of the staff is super cool
Delicious food. Chef Khalid has a touch of magic to make food come to life right in front of you. The steak was cooked perfect medium, the garlic rice was scrumptious and lemon garlic fish was heavenly. This experience was so good that I would love to have it again very soon.
Best Japanese in town
First of all , not at all recommended to traditional sub-continent cuisine lovers. Your taste buds won’t admit to it.Still we went there to try something different.
Nice place for eating out
Food quality, taste, and service varies. It can be decent. But often it is iffy. Some dishes are made to suit a Pakistani palate. Nowhere close to being Japanese. My last tempanyaki experience for example.
All electrical home appliances available hare.very original and Best quality items available here
Nice to have refreshment
Food quality is always upto mark & so is environment. Undoubtedly the best Japanese food.
Excellent food but expensive
Excellent food
Though we Pakistanis do not like any food without tardka and masala. But many of us need change in taste. That is why restaurants like Fujiyama are as popular as any other one. Fujiyama is a famous small mountain and wall in Japan. After entering the restaurant you will feel as you are somewhere in Japan. Walls are decorated with traditional sketch paintings where no color is used. While the serving tables are designed near to Japanese culture. The menu is actual Japanese without desi tadka but few masalas are good enough to mold the taste according to oneself. There is a beautiful view of swimming pool by the glass wall. Coming to affordability so it is an expensive restaurant because they are using imported ingredients for their customers. Initial per person is Rs.2600 and taxes while selected and exclusive menu could be much higher than above amount.Overall it is an amazing experience to come here.
Good and tasty food with vast variety
The food was OK not very good. Restaurant was empty which makes dining out a little dull
Fujiyama sets an ambitious standard for traditional and modern Japanese cooking. The world-renowned chef showcases exhilarating interpretations of Japanese food in a breathtaking ambiance designed as a respite from the non-stop chaos of Lahore City. The restaurants extraordinary looks, which blend Japanese and Pakistani sensibilities with subtle futuristic details, are rivaled only by the mouthwatering menu, which melds ancient Eastern tradition with modern Western innovation. Pool side is a total romantic story.
Its a Japanese restaurant, and Japanese food is very different from Pakistani cuisines, so we cant judge the taste. There is no compromise with the quality. The food was delivered on time.Complex menu allows you to choose different types of food.Ask for the live cooking, chef freshly prepare the dish in front of the guests.Overall dining experience was very good, staff people were helpful.
Needs to be more authentic towards the base cuisine but overall a nice change from other traditional cuisines.
This is still a good Japanese restaurant that has, unfortunately for japophiles, and perhaps good for the Punjabi palate, been shifting to match local Chinese and or greasey food.even the wasabi is very mildThis time some of the sushi was uneatable as it had a fried outer layer. Otherwise good ambiance and a bit over the top cooking on hot plates which is quite tough on the eyes and nostrils.Advice:1. take a table away from the hotplate area. 2. Only order authentic Japanese food, 3. Eat with chopsticks4. Take wasabi with everything5. V Imp: always be a guest never a host in larger groups or go Dutch as this is a very very expensive restaurant.
Adeel andUsman
Consistent, fresh, top service (ask for Ijaz) and chef Khalid....its pricey though so keep bring an extra wallet
Beautiful

The best authentic Japanese restaurant in Lahore its situated in avari hotel.. for best ambiance sit at the tempiyaki table
Cannot visit frequently
Had dinner in Fujiyama Avari Lahore because my son is a sushi lover. Sushi was good but a little disappointed with the main course.
Average food and services
Was not as expecting this taste in this price.Soup and fish were below average
Great view of water and green with an urban backdrop. Food is good. Menu is a bit tricky for uninitiated.
Too expensive
Bcz its pak place
Very well done for japanese food outside of Japan. However the menu is overly large affecting some of the quality. If only they would reduce and focus simply like the Japanese do. Still very impressed
Excellent taste + service
The food we had recently all only had butter and garlic. However the Sushi is the best found in town.
Good
Located At Avari Hotel Lahore, Good For Japanese Food Lovers
I had lunch today; service was quite inefficient and slow. I asked for a fork & knife which was never brought. Food was average bland taste. Seafood soup was like drinking warm water; no taste at all; same with the other food.
Awesome Japanese food in town and beautiful pool side view in afternoon...
Great
I enjoyed there in very good environment.
Excellent food taste.
Delicious food and excellent ambiance
We had tappanyaki and found a strand of hair in one of the plate. The staff was courteous but didnt do anything about it except talking about looking into it. Very disappointed.
I love the quality of food and service
High end Japanese style restaurant atop Avari hotel. Offers a fair selection of very expensive sushi along with a Japanese themed menu. The Teppanyaki selection is good but doesnt offer the theatrics that are usually associated with it. Complimentary green tea is served with the food. Ambience is nice however as it is aimed to serve a posh clientele.
Very good restaurant in mall road try sushi but try with wasabi . But i think all dish is very trsty and nice . Staff members very cooperate and service very fast. But little bit expensive. But try it your money never waste you like it . Drinks also try .have a good fujiyama restaurant view inside nice must try have a good day take care love you all thanks
The ramen was cold and tasteless. Other dishes were also lacking both flavour and quality. The sushi and tempura were good.
I did have many of dishes but when I ate one bowl of woodong I supprised because the poorst taste that I never experienced so far.The soup is just soy saurce
A premium sushi place in Lahore. Highly recommended if you would like to enjoy Japanese cuisine in the city
Low standard food
Old fashioned honest to goodness cusine
It used to the place for sushi... now it’s needs a super upgrade
This is a Japanese restaurant and its rolls and sushi are very yummy
2600 plus per head for brunch and quality of food is not that great but ok. So overall I dont think is good value for money
Restaurants are classified or distinguished in many different ways. The primary factors are usually the food itself (e.g. vegetarian, seafood, steak); the cuisine (e.g. Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, French, Mexican, Thai) or the style of offering (e.g. tapas bar, a sushi train, a tastet restaurant, a buffet restaurant or a yum cha restaurant). Beyond this, restaurants may differentiate themselves on factors including speed (see fast food), formality, location, cost, service, or novelty themes (such as automated restaurants).
High quality
Food was great but Sushi is so expensive in Lahore for no reason. I had all you can eat sushi / sushimi yesterday in Cambridge, Canada for $25 /person. I think people like to pay more so they can boast about it or the rental is very high near MM Alam. Other than that it is a great place especially if you are guest :)
Good foodThey need to improve ambience
