NAPA (National Academy of Performing Art) was established in 2005. It is situated in Karachi, Pakistan. It is the first academy in Pakistan to learn performing arts. You can learn there, Acting, Theatre Direction, Script Writing, Singing and also learn to play different music instruments. Zia Muhiuddin is running the academy who is very famous actor not only in Pakistan but also in Bollywood and Hollywood.

King Lear: A great adaptation. The direction by Zia Mohyuddin and the outstanding acting by Khalid Ahmed both deserved a standing ovation. Amazing experience overall, and the tragic emotions were overwhelming.

Founded in 2005, NAPA is run by actor and director Zia Mohyeddin, with an outstanding faculty of Pakistan’s top theatre and music professionals and collaborations with leading national and international stage and musical performers.Zia Mohyeddin is a British-Pakistani actor, producer, director and television broadcaster who has appeared in both Pakistani cinema and television as well as in British cinema and television throughout his career.He is famous for his blockbuster Pakistan Television talk show named after him Zia Mohyeddin Show (1969 – 1973). He is also known for originating the role of Dr. Aziz in the stage play of A Passage to India.

NAPA IS A PLACE WHERE NEW YOUNG TALENTED FACES COME,PERFORM (UNDER SENIOR SHOWBIZ FACES ) AND TWINKLED THEIR LIVES FOR BEING A PRESTIGIOUS MEMBERS OF MEDIA.

Place is just OK. Not very big theater n seats too small.

When we visited with a driver we were unable to enter the compound. No reason was given. Disappointing as we were informed this site was open to the public

I never ever go to napa but mr rahat kazmi is my all time favourite..he is a pioneer of pakistan drama industry ..i m big big big fan of rahat kazmi..lots of prayers for him as he is a president of napa...

I Note Down The Number & Called A Woman Pick My Call & She Straightaway Said “Beta Yeh Napa Art Council Ka Number Nahe Hai” I Was Literally Shocked After That She Said “ Pata Nahe Kisne Yeh Shararat Ki Hai From Last Six Months I Am Facing This Issue” She Was So Fade Up With All these Things So Now From This Platefom I Raised The Complain On Behalf Of Her. please Management Look After This Matter ASAP.Thank You
