Nice rooms. Specially the New Block. Old wing is refurbished and the married wing is awesome. Food is a killer. Fish, prawns, nibblers, are a treat. Bistro inside the club is a cool hangout.

Its heritage of karachi. Takes you back in time. The cream of the city comes here in evenings. Bada Khanna (the big dinner night) is awesome with some great food. Drinks and alcoholic beverages are easily accessible in an otherwise conservative country. Fantastic place to be at.If I would change one thing, that would be the strict colonial rules. Women are still not allowed in the members area which is kind of very medieval. They need to relax the rules. British have been gone now for 70 years. They aint coming back.

Sind Club is located on Fatima Jinnah road, right next to the Frere Hall. It is considered an elitist members club similar to Karachi Gymkhana. Among the oldest clubs in the city, its membership is coveted by upper class. Despite all the years, it has kept its class and standards intact.

I had a fantastic stay at this place. Fantastic food and facilities!

Worst ever experience. It only caters to senior most army officers and bureaucrates. Nothing special to experience here. Worst in terms of hospitality as the staff is untrained sifarishi or retired army employees.

Good sindh prees club

It is one of the oldest gardens established at the time of British rule. It was after the name of then sindhs governor Sir James Burns. It is lush green and have paths for walk and jogging. For few years it seems to be abandoned. And this is the case with most of the parks and gardens of the city that local government or provincial government does not pay attention to maintain these.

Wonderfully nostalgic place, thank you to our hosts for inviting us, a little haven in the middle of Karachi with a wonderful history. Loved all the cricket team photos etc

The sind club has been there for ages. Its a place where adults, children can come in the evening to have a great time. Not only do they offer sports facilities but also have great food. The place has everything for everyone. Anyone who can get membership should do so as its only passed on from generations to generations. The active members keep the place neat and tidy. I went with a member and had a wonderful time. We went to the batting cages and had a knocked a few balls around. The service was great, a really family oriented place. Highly recommended.Cheers

This is One of the Oldest college in Karachi. An Icon of Karachi life! A fabulous vintage building with a safe, lovely, family atmosphere. Sports, Swimming pool, dining halls, cafeteria, bakery, Library, mens Hamam, billiards room, card room, accommodation for members and their out of town guests.... All you could ask for!

The Club was formed on the 25th of May, 1871, where, under the Chairmanship of the legendary Sir William Merewether, the Sind Club was established catering to British Army officers, professionals and other Europeans.Since the birth of Pakistan, the Club has evolved into Karachis most exclusive club, keeping its membership small enough to deliver an unparalleled home away from home experience for its members and their guests

Restricted to members, their families and invitees only, Sind Club is one the oldest club of Karachi. Food and service is mostly very good. Recently some remodeling was done. There are several sports facilities, like tennis and squash courts, a fairly large swimming pool and a billiard room (only for male members :). There are some rooms in the club, where members and their guests can stay.

Parking problem

Getting a membership is a pain. The rest is all great!

An amazing relic of the British Raj existing in the center of Karachi. Built in tge 1800s, the club house, buildings and garden are perfectly maintained. A walk through the corridors of the club is like a walk through the history of Pakistan. All from a elitist point of view

Theres nothing extraordinary about sind club, except for maybe the people who I found to be exceptionally well mannered. Apart from that nothing was impressive. The staff isnt that great either. The food served by them was also very average. The seating arrangements were ok at best. Parking is terrible and more importantly finding the right gate is close to impossible for non members.
