Assalamalaikum..height of corruption.I reached only 10 mnts,like 3 10 pm today and they didnt allow me to enter,,only needed to collect the ready passport,whereas others having some source, phone calls,or via agent.Rule is rule.We are moms hvng online schools in morning if got a few mnts late whats the issue

I recently renew my passport & it was good experience .. I am sharing the procedure of passport renew .First check if your area district come in this passport office its not for every district .1. Park your car at suitable place they charge 100 rupees parking bcz of no parking issue.2. Go into passport office in (information room) they will give you fee challan .. fill it and then pay in nbp (which is inside of passport office)Ordinary passport (36 pages) renew fee is 3000 + 30 rupees extra bank takes.Documents require for 18years and above Original Cnic + photocopy , Your passport and its 4 starting page photocopy , father & mother cnic photocopy & take a pen with you for filling forms.3. After submitting fees go into room in which district you are like central east west .4. Go into picture room they will take your picture and give you token slip (read that slip carefully)5. Then wait for your turn to give fingerprint data.6. Then wait for your turn for data entry (read that data entry carefully)7. Then they will call you to ask some questions & give slip data to them & you will have one slip &one fee challan with you for collecting of passport after 15 days (for ordinary)Note: before entring there will be agents stopping you to say i will do your work quickly in few rupees.. just ignore them you can do all your work easily within 1 hour .. There is a photocopy shop also outside passport office in case you need to photocopy something.Timing are 9 to 2 pm & friday 9 to 12.30 pmWhen I visit 3rd december 2020 there was no rush on any place hardly 4 to 5 people only.So this was the whole procedure hope it will help someone :)

Excellent service, took me 20 minutes end to end for my passport renewal. Fee was deposited in another nbp branch a day before.Two areas where I faced problems was (I) no home delivery service for passport (this was available 5 years back through TCS), (2) I went to awaami markaz office since website mentioned district east residents will be entertained there however they saw my cnic and said you would have to go Safdar office for this.

Try to go in morning by 9:00 am no queue , no crowd all was good..it took me 45 minutes in whole process for fresh passport.

Everyone should stay away from agents here. You can easily do all the work yourself. Take challan pay it in national bank and go in the room of your residence jurisdiction like west central south or senior and government employees. You will be issued token number, then data will be entered, thumb impression will be taken.

Everything was organized, and I did not have to wait long for anything as I reached early.

It was good experience, i had heard that there are long ques and hours of waiting, but i got my entire work done within an hour. May be bcz of pandemic or any other unknown reason, there were no ques at any place (except for nbp outside office, however nbp inside to accept passport challan was available with not a single person there). Take a pen with you as ordinary challan was not being accepted, so i had to get urgent challan from there and filled it. Also they are not processing ordinary challan with 3000 fee, only urgent is being processed with 5000 pkr. Thats the only bad thing for me.

No guidance there, don’t pay any agent there. Try to reach till 8am max, get your bank form very simple , then pay the bank fee on the spot you face the long line. Then go to your respective district. First picture counter 2nd print prints,3rd form filling, form submission and last interview.Make sure you have all the copies with you one set.

Try to go early as possible to make your work done. Take all the documents and its copes so that it will save your time. Its better to take careem or uber as there is no proper parking in there.

Every zila passport can be made from here. My personal experience was very good because everything here was well organized and maintained. Never saw a government office so organized and fast.

There is no proper security and a lot of people are suffering and the mafia agents are filling passport form outside of the office and poor people are following the instructions and are waiting for their turn to submit form in bank line and those who has money are giving money to mafia agents to pay bank fees and inside the passport office there are also same like this kindly follow the instructions

This requires an entire day and careful planning, which means you should reach the passport office right on time, to avoid ending up at the end of the queue.People will specially be faced with this problem, if their district falls at the Saddar’s passport office, as it serves a major division of Karachi. So it’s better to know the timings of the passport office before you plan your trip.The passport office will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays, which means you will have to take a day off from your office, as the job can’t be done on weekdays. The fee for a normal passport is Rs 3000, while for an urgent passport is Rs 5000. The normal fee for 72 pages is Rs 5500, while urgent fee for 72 pages is Rs 9000. Normal fee for 100 pages is Rs 6000, while for urgent 100 pages is Rs 12000.In case of losing your old passport, you need to lodge an FIR with the police and the applicant will be charged double. In case of losing your passport twice, the fee will be charged thrice. System is otherwise good and straight forward but even so there are money mongers roaming around taking money to illegally facilitate the process. Takes time to pay the challans as there are limited counters for payment. Similarly photography stations are limited and cause long queue. Limited seating with poor air conditioning. Bottom line is that there need to be more passport offices to distribute the load.

Procedure for applying:1. Get a pen with yourself and original documents from home.2. Before entering the main gate, get a form from the window beside the gate.3. Fill the form accordingly. The fee for the different category is displayed on the board hanging in the middle of the corridor when you enter.4. Then get in the line for submission of fee in bank. The counter is open within the office corridor.5. Go to respective distrct branch (there are five district branches - east, west, north, south and central). See where you live and go to that district branch.6. Now for the actual procedure, you have to follow 5 stepsI. Get your photograph taken and get your token from 1st counterII. Then go for biometricIII. Data entry counter and receivethe printed formIV. Get your form stampedV. Finally go for submission of the form to the main office.Thats it.Tip: get your documents photocopied in anticipation.Hope you get smoothly.

Services are ok.. But never ever park your bike in the street next to passport offic, always ask someone about the Parking area. God bless!

After the reconstruction of the whole structre, passport office now is providing excellent, on time and quick services. All staff members are cooperative and helpful. Got my passport process done with in an hour.Thumbs up.

The environment is very good. Process is hassle free, no need agent but the only problem Im facing is that nobody bother to pick up the call even not once. The phone keeps on ringing all the time never answered, disappointing :(

This age-old passport office offers a fair service. Except that there are no landline numbers to call for queries if you need confirmation of things before visiting. As far as comfort is concerned, the seating arrangement is rather inappropriate and often the air conditioning doesnt seem to work for the candidates and other sitting in the waiting area. Those responsible, kindly look into this matter.

Very quick and streamlined process, took about 45 minutes. The staff was helpful and courteous.Make sure you read the process on their website beforehand and take all the necessary documents/photcopies.

Staff was quite unprofessional and stubborn, they are not even talk properly with customers. Ministry need to change these staff or hired some soft spoken or cooperative guys. Well over all services are good, i’ve been renewed my passport with in 25 mins(luckily).

It was a nice experience as the whole staff was cooperative and guided me through the whole process and didnt needed any reference or the agents help and the whole process took 1hour.

This Customer center is greatly designed to fulfill all the customers needs but still needs a lot of improvements like parking area handling, Passport handling policies and SMS management to save peoples time to visit and asking Bhai Passport agya after 30 minutes of waiting in line and 4 din baad ara hun di hoi date ke and gets a response monday ko ayega Monday Ko. All the Representatives of West, South, Old age, Malir district counters are doing thier work with best efforts except the East District Awami Markaz counter , The man is drunk and doesnt find passport numbers may be he is always lost in somewhere or he just plans to hand over daily 500 passports and not more than that.

Staff is not cooperative at all but the director of passports and immigration is too much active and gentle man. I appreciate his efforts during ramzan and roza. He personaly took interest and resolve my issue.

The people who r sitting on management levels are nothing but illiterate sindhis who came on these positions through bribes and corruption. Twice I went to Clifton branch as my passport needed to be on my fathers name due to USA greencard. Khalid Zuberi told me to go to saddar and it will b easily done there. I went to saddar and inquired. They told me to submit challan. Then on next visit they completely refused to submit passport on Fathers name. There is an assistant director Ayoub who started misbehaving and abusing me. I even went to director but he told me to get a divorce if I dont want to get my passport made on my husbands name. Is this the way to deal with ppl? I gave 10000/- for the urgent passport and got mistreated. Fire Khalid Zuberi and Ayoub. The most badtameez and arrogant people possible

Information on the passport office website is out of date and not very much helpful eg. The online passport renewal option is available to overseas Pakistanis only but this fact not mentioned anywhere on the website or the renewal forms.Zonal/Regional office information is also wrong, I had to travel to the Saddar office but was redirected back to the Malir office. However, the renewed passport can only be collected from Saddar....doesnt make any sense to me.After entering into the office you will find chaos and very difficult to get information relevant to your case.

Visited the Regional Passport Office today for new Passport, Staff is Cooperative and whole procedure was sucessfully completed within a hour, Please dont ask any help from any Agents because whole process is very easy and less time taking. Just wait for your turn and get your process done.
