Worth the travel, I went from Civic center to Landhi to try the biryani and pulao and it was worth it. Clean chicken and beef, staff following SOPs, sitting is not comfortable but its okay. Taste is awesome!

Average taste of beef biryani. Quality of beef is better but use of cheaper quality rice is the main reason of not giving good rating to this biryani. Lots of waiting to get your number and dusty ambiance mainly of Fridays lunch time.

I ventured to go visit this place because a friend had recommended beef biryani of this establishment. Had to travel 20 kilometers one way to reach this joint. And pleased to say, the journey did not go in vain.Attari beef biryani is located in Landhi # 2 in a secluded street. Google maps is of great help in guiding you to this place. Once you reach in close proximity of this restaurant, you can ask for locals to guide you specifically in its direction. The place is modest, each table can accommodate 4 people easily on straight-back steel seaters (not very comfortable seating to be honest). There are two seating sections, one for gents only, the other one for families and ladies.You can order chicken biryani, beef biryani and beef pulao here in different serving sizes that cost from Rs. 70 (for basic chicken biryani) to Rs. 200. You can also order simple biryani or pulao without any meat in it at all, and thatll be even cheaper than the basic plate of chicken biryani.I ordered a Rs. 150 plate of beef biryani for myself, and I was very pleased with the choice of serving ordered as it was just the right amount that killed my craving, satisfied my hunger, and filled me to the brim for an early lunch. The plate of beef biryani had ample amount of meat botis as well. The meat was tender and juicy - just the way it should be in a biryani. Some botis were marbled with fat as well, which I always find as a very pleasant addition in the dish. Rice was soft, steaming and moist. Biryani was aromatic and rightly spiced with reliance on perfect amount on garam masala and green chili to deliver the heat rather than being overloaded with red chilli powder to deliver the job. This biryani had tomatoes and onions along with herbs such as coriander and mint in this broth base to give it the tangy signature. However, I did not find or register bay leaf, alu-bukhara, star anise, and any hint of saffron flavour in the rice. But needless to say, this biryani ticked many boxes and is highly recommended as it leans towards the category of Mughalai biryani. To be honest, this is the type of biryani that my mum makes. It has a very homely, yet a very professional (daig wali biryani) taste. When its served to you, you might find the pale colour of the rice to be disappointing immediately, and you might think that it wont satisfy your taste buds, but dont let that colour fool you; Attari Biryani chooses to skip shade of over-powering red chilli and zarda colour in favour of being au-natural in appearance. When I was done this rice, there wasnt a morsel left on my plate - thats how good it was!I would give this biryani 4.5 stars out of 5 due to of above-mentioned spices, herbs and flavours.This is a relatively underrated biryani place, but strongly recommended for anyone desiring to consume a modest-intensity biryani.Please visit this place, its safe, and very nice.P.S. This place is closed on Thursdays (yeah, call it a Desi Chick-fil-A)

Good place for beef lovers, you get beef biryani and pulao along with chicken biryani. Food quality is maintained, had it 8 months back and still same taste.
