A beautiful library inside out. Amazing facilities and infrastructure. Only downside is you need to have a DHA membership card to be applicable. Exclusivity to DHA residents.

The staff here is extremely rude and unhelpful.I feel like the only reason this library is actually working is that its the only library worth going inand there arent a lot of libraries available to people nearby.I have been trying to call them for ages to know whether the library is open or not, the least they can do is keep us members well informed

This is the only library in area with some standards and have some nice collection of books, nice place and you can enjoy your reading in some peace in your mind and around, i like the defence central library and i rate this library 10 out 10. You know these days people dont like to read books but these books are you best friends.

A good library in town with only 1000 rupees per month. Also, the atmosphere is awesome. So, for people looking to study in a good atmosphere at reasonable payment should definitely go for it.Note: it is closed on Fridays and open on Saturdays and Sundays. Though the administration is open for only 4 days

One of the best libraries in Karachi. This was made in the late 90s and caters to a lot of people. Great place to study/prep for exams and they offer small courses at times. Its very neat and clean and they have a good cafeteria. My experience has been great.

This library is trash if you are not from DHA dont even try to go their.. they will treat you like a trash.. they dont even bother to ask if you are from DHA or not they judge you by your dressing style and decide whether to give u a membership or not... the lady in administrative block needs a doctor

Excellent library and source to get Cambridge English: Advanced, IELTS/TOEFL Preparatory books. Bookworms should get the membership to study in a peaceful environment. Its a nice hang-out for friends and colleagues.

A great library. Attended the grand book fair yesterday which hosted some amazing books.

- Inconvenience in name of facilities- uncomfortable and congested seating- Disgusting washrooms with no essentials (No soap/Towel)- Messed up cafetería, no cleanliness- Staff will never co-operate.- They are very strict about rules, which they never bend for students. Will only bend for their convenience.

DHA Central Library is one of the prime institutions of Defence Housing Authority Karachi. It was established on 3rd November 1991. DCL has a beautifully designed and artistically decorated building with lush green lawns, fountains and rockeries all around it. Like any modern library, DCL has a computerized book inventory, modern and speedy Internet facilities, exclusive newspapers & periodicals section, access to digital library of HEC, state-of-art audio visual facilities and a unique Childrens Library fully equipped with modern facilities. DCL website is periodically updated to provide library information services to the visitors.

Most famous library in karachi calm environment , huge collection of books, but no good canteen plus washrooms are not maintained.

Dcl is good but best library alliance francaise karachi hai sirf 4000 per year main.afk library clifton block 8 main hai its cheapest and best for interior sindh students because dcl sirf dha waloon ko allow karta hai ab.afk library around 350 per month hai so cheapest and membership is open for all.

This is a great place to study. I highly recommend this place. Very calm and purposeful place.
