Typical government office. Be prepared to spend your whole day running up and down to different people. The upside is that its easier than before and the people are nicer. Surprisingly I didnt see any agents like at other government offices.

Good shelter area in side for waiting. NBP is also inside for payments. Ramzan timings are 10 to 2 pm n for juma mubarik 9 to 1 pm

I found them very helpful this time , however, they should really work on queue management as during my experience at protectorate office recently, I stood in multiple queues which were mismanaged and people were going here there breaking the queue!

I got my Protector stamped on my Passport on 13 Nov 2013. The staff are cooperative and courteous unlike many other govt departs. But the procedure was unnecessary visiting 2 different bank branches at Baloch colony for 2 payments. I hope they have corrected it by now.Got my Passport back on the promised date, while I had flight next day, without any special favors or requests.Keep up the good job!

If you have all documents, you can easily complete the protector process in a day. Staff is also cooperative. Good service.

Very illogical Department with very Illogical requirements and incompetent people.The is no proper information available on internet or anywhere in the protector office about documents requirement. For each country there are different requirements and there is no way you can know hnless rejected once after visiting office.First you will go to photocopy shop where a very rude person will treat you like his slave.Director is not usually present in office during office hours, probably he comes only for an hour just to sign the documents.The most pathetic part is the payment system you will get multiple challans that has to be submitted in different banks at very distant.In short, the office show you a true picture of a typical Pakistan Goverment office.

Go early as they stop collection of documents around 11:00. If all documents are complete and you manage to submit them along with fees around 11:00. You will get your protector stamped on passport around 3:00 pm. Best of luck

If you have all your documents ready then you will get it done in a single day!Tip: Karachites cannot get their NIC/NICOP for same location NADRA as it deals with out of province or interior clients only.

One stop shop for people going abord on employment visa.. it is mendatory for all pakistanis to get their passport stamped with the protectorate. Nadra has a branch office there as well so you can get everything done at a single location
