The crepes here no doubt are really good, especially the sweet ones. We also got the burger, lobster ravioli and pan seared fish. All of the were really good, loved the lobster ravioli. For desserts it was brownies and chocolate crepe both were good especially the brownies. I rated 4 star because all of the food felt a bit oily and they should work on this and try to manage their portions of oils when cooking
First the entrance is a bit deceiving. I was fortunate the door was open when I got there so went to the right place, but my friend before and after me ended up going into the back alley door. Which seemed to be a common mistake.Food I have mixed feelings about. Came hungry ordered almost everything and left hungry. The small plates were almost all delicious so much so ordered 2 rounds of the tuna tacos. Wish the main menu had elements of the small plates. Would come back just for the small platesCrepes got the shaved beef and the shrimp. Shaved beef was good, shrimp so so. Neither was something Id come for again. Most of the menu is crepesBurger not my pick I would never order a burger but I guess safe for some. My friend liked it.Steak Cafe De Paris, meat cut and medium rare cook was perfect. Enjoyed it more on its own than with the sauce.Dessert. Ordered The Apricot crepe which seemed to be canned apricots?... only if they fresh or even seared/ caramelized that would be something. The Chocolate Gourmande crepe was delicious got 2 but sadly the second order didnt have as much chocolate love as the first. So yea all this food with 3 ppl and I left hungry.. but that could be me.
Overall Average experience. Was expecting it to be much more, however left a bit disappointed. Limited menu, with very few options apart from crepes. Understandable as its specialty is crepes.Really liked the appetisers. We ordered the seaweed salmon, really liked it. Took us back to Thailand. However the mains were a bit disappointing. Average steak, bland crepes. We ordered the shaved beef crepe, along with the eggs benedict crepe. If crepes were the specialty, then sorry, I didnt like them at all.The ambience was nice, but the tables were too close for covid comfort.Do try it once and form your own opinion, otherwise go next door to Xanders for comfort. ;)
Good food, great ambiance, lovely outdoor and indoor setting, but limited menu in terms of Mains, great for snacking. And the dish names are pretty difficult hahaa what is a chocolate gurumandir crepe lol. Found a mistake in the menu Dhocolate Fudge Brownie but I was like probably I don’t know, this must be some more English chocolate which I’m yet to learn about
I have never had better crêpes than the ones served here. The vegetarian one as well as the mushroom crêpe blew my mind. Reserve your table way in advance on weekends if youre planning a visit. Great dessert options too!
Great ambiance and has a good vibe, however the food was below par the two time I visited.
Xanders sister, so obviously high expectations. At the moment, the customer traffic is pretty high, hoping it settles down a little soon.Visited late Sunday morning with three friends for breakfast. The menu isnt very elaborate compared to some of the other breakfast cafes, and much to the dismay of my friends, there are not a lot of very safe options; which I found exciting Tbh. The breakfast menu is limited to 9 options, out of which 4 are crepe based. Would have loved it they had digital menu instead of Paper based (eating in times of Covid). The ambience is decent - seating available in the atrium as well as indoor. The staff is on their feet and friendly!Loved the food, and the owner later came over and offered us a deconstructed Tiramisu dresser, which was amazing!!!
The crepes are really good. Especially those with chocolate. They need to do something about the flies.
Absolutely love the crepes! Ambiance though can be improved
There was no social distancing followed during Covd the food was not good at all i will not recommend anyone to take chances.
